To give you an idea about 20 years ago that statistic would be closer to the half, and it isn’t due necessarily to the idea that fascism was so good, but it’s tied to the downwards slope Italy has been going towards for a long time, and looking back, many people realize that Italy was much better off then, so a nostalgic feeling for this past they never got to experience is created

"Not only has capitalism not entered into its final crisis anywhere in the world, but fascism was first successful in marginally industrialized Italy - in a national that had only begun its industrial development. Italian industrial capitalism was hardly at the end of its life cycle. It was at little more. Moreover, subsequent movements elsewhere in Europe that have been characterized as fascist proved to "have been most successful in mobilizing the lower classes in underdeveloped countries. Where a variant of fascism, Adolf Hitler's national socialism arose in an industrialized economy, most large-scale business and industrial enterprise did not support the Nazis before their seizure of power, and indeed looked upon them as radicals. The fact is that fascism, in all its variants, had a relationship with industrial capitalism largely misunderstood by theoreticians. Modernity - if it is understood primarily as industrialization and technological development - was critical to fascism as a revolutionary goal" A. James Gregor - Mussolini's intellectuals "Hard times also attracted those to fascism who felt that socialism could not provide the answer. According to La Stampa, fascism comprised unemployed former officers, poverty-stricken public employees, slump-hit shopkeepers and contractors, students and young graduates, disaffected youths and ex-revolutionaries who had supported the war. According to a November 1921 census in Il popolo d'Italia, 24.3% were agricultural labourers, 15% factory workers, 13% students, 12% owner or tenant farmers, and the rest a mix of shopkeepers, traders, professionals and factory owners. Nearly two-thirds had served in the war, which also meant that they were young. These figures undermine the claim that fascism was simply a borgouis counter-revolution." Nicholas Farrell - Mussolini, a new life "Comitern definitions of fascism henceforth grew increasingly narrow and reductionist, climaxing in the famous maxim coined by Georgi Dimitrov at the 1935 congress that fascism constituted, "the open terrorist dictatorship of the most reactionary, most chauvinist and most imperialist elements of finance capital". None of this prevented official Soviet relations with fascist Italy from remaining friendly until 1935. Like Mussolini during 1921-22, Hitler worked during 1931-32 to establish ties with influential sectors of society, cooperating part of the time with the right and trying to reassure businessmen that they had no reason to be apprehensive of national socialism. Yet despite massive left-wing propaganda that Hitler was the paid agent of capitalism, Hitler garnered only limited financial support from big business. While there was considerable support among small industrialists, most sectors of big business consistently advised against permitting him to form a government. The Nazi party was primarily financed by its own members." Stanley G Payne - A history of fascism
I would say facism holds the idea of an authoritarian state which is a leftist ideal but..holds an idea of nationalism but...they emrace racial supremecy and like you saw in ww11 and globalism to expand the home of their people and that is excepted socially by neither side left or right wing. Its like communism but racial supremecy is encouraged. The right belive in small government here in the U.S.A and self responsibility with little government dependancy so it would it make sense that a far right movement would be a form of anarchy where we would destroy government completely and have no hierarchy at all. I dont understand your far right wing in european countries it still sounds like a leftist ideals, example: "its like you flip a coin for heads and tails but both sides of the coin are tails" its almost competing for who has the most extreme leftist ideal but we when we dont like it we call it right wing. as long as their is a heirarchy that controls or has an input on the goods and services there is still going to be left wing. Unity under a "collectivist ideal" where the government has the say over all people no matter opposition is still left. 🤔
@@pyrrhus1919 i like your view points and appeciate your intillectual oppsition its a rare thing now without yelling "Fascist"🤣. my point is that i would agree on anarchy being created by the left to "fight the man fight the power" also being counterintuitive but a far right seems like it would support no hierachy while a far left would support totalitarianism. That would make more sense because these two political parties are viewed as opposites and viewed as having a complete opposition from one another. you would have to find these two ideals twisted to the most extreme of each party self responsibility(some form of anarchy) and community responsibility(fascism, communism)?
Fascism is far right like communism is far left. Just because you’re on a position doesn’t mean you’re exempt from the political spectrum. @@marktate7618 I understand that there have been variants of fascism which tried to fold Christianity into their ideology. However I think that tying Christianity to political ideology often diminishes and compromises the integrity of Christianity. I am not saying that Christians cannot be politically involved. But Christ Himself said that His kingdom is not of this world, whereas satan is described in Scripture as 'god of this world'. So in the end, Christ's rule will supersede that of any earthly leaders. Another problem which coexisted with many versions of fascism is antisemitism. I'm not so sure about the Spanish Falangists, but the Iron Guard, Arrow Cross, and Ustashe all had a reputation as being extremely antisemitic. The fact that MOST (NOT ALL) Jews have rejected Christ in our present age does not disqualify them from God's care. His answer to the Holocaust was the foundation of the State of Israel, in partial fulfilment of Ezekiel 37. This political party, much like fascists of old, beats immigrants and colored people non immigrant. Their sympathizers are violent people who regularly commit violence and sell drugs. Is this defending my beloved nation Italy? I don't think so. And Mussolini didn't make Italy great, he destroyed it, used violence against other Italians, then he used violence in Spain, ex-Jugoslavia, Greece, Albania, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, the ex-USSR, not to mention the jews sent to Auschwitz and the crimes of the Civil War in 1943-1945. Only to maintain his power he started the Civil War, and he was killed like the coward he was while he was trying to run away dressed as a German soldier, and not with his wife and family, but with his lover. Being Italian, I believe one of the main problems here is the poor management of the migration flows in our country. Italian people became more and more resentful and annoyed because of the issues migration brings. Many people think that the government is providing more for immigrants rather than "us" , that's why many parties started incorporating nationalist "measures" in their propaganda and Italians are drawn to them. Casa Pound is an extreme example because it incites and promotes violence but it's not an isolated case. Unfortunately, nationalism in our country is often identified with fascism including its discriminatory and violent practices. My point is that we should take into account a broader context because many people are fucked up but not everybody wakes up thinking "let's become a fascist".
same in Turkey just the government looks at them as muslims and they have better lives than us It reveals our religion instead of our Turkish origin, I hate it and it deceives the religious people with religion

100% the status quo that breeds it is wrong, still preferable to fascism.
Modernity - if it is understood primarily as industrialization and technological development - was critical to fascism as a revolutionary goal"
A. James Gregor - Mussolini's intellectuals
"Hard times also attracted those to fascism who felt that socialism could not provide the answer. These figures undermine the claim that fascism was simply a borgouis counter-revolution."
Nicholas Farrell - Mussolini, a new life
"Comitern definitions of fascism henceforth grew increasingly narrow and reductionist, climaxing in the famous maxim coined by Georgi Dimitrov at the 1935 congress that fascism constituted, "the open terrorist dictatorship of the most reactionary, most chauvinist and most imperialist elements of finance capital". The Nazi party was primarily financed by its own members."

It's pretty boring, isn't it? What you have here is a cult audience. Neo-fascism would be a better term to use, because nothing like the original movement exists anymore. And it should not, because fascism brought terrible destruction to Italy and other nations of the world. When people try to exalt the State above God, awful things are bound to happen. It is reversal of the proper order.
@@jesusislordsavior6343 Fascism & Christianity can live together, just like Romanian & Spanish fascism did
@@marktate7618
I understand that there have been variants of fascism which tried to fold Christianity into their ideology. However I think that tying Christianity to political ideology often diminishes and compromises the integrity of Christianity. I am not saying that Christians cannot be politically involved.
Nor am I saying that governments should ignore Biblical principles in their policy!
Many Christians are unfamiliar with Romans chapters 9-11 in the New Testament, which explain the mystery of Jewish disobedience in detail and predict the future gathering of Israel to Christ their rightful Messiah (11:25-).
Prezent!
@Techno-Imperium
You couldn't be more correct. Have you read the book of Esther in the Old Testament, which speaks of events in the ancient Persian empire? Going back farther still, what about the Egyptian Pharaohs who kept Hebrew slaves in cruel bondage?
In the late 19th century, the Russian empire persecuted Jews on such a massive scale that a great wave of emigration to the West and to Palestine was set in motion. New York, London, Paris, Montreal, Toronto, Buenos Aires-----------these are some of the cities which became known for their Jewish districts.

Italy needs to be proud of being "Italian" again. The abuse and lack of regard towards Italy once the EU/Euro was introduced has created this situation. EastWestWorld66 Why don't they leave like the UK from EU since dislike how the introduction of the euro/EU made this situation.
The ''Italian'' identity is a rather new phenomenon dating only back to 1860, although some intellectuals were fanatically writing about a ''revival of the Italian nation'' as if it ever excisted :p Don't get me wrong though, I'm pro united Italy and a supporter of an Italian identity, although my region of origins comes first as it should be looking at Italian history.
Zakiya Briggs we'd be very happy to do that. But as long as we had those bastards fake communists at the government we couldn't even defend ourselves from foreign thieves and murderers in our own homes
"We have the DUTY not the right to defend our territories" great response
Who is we?
Now here in Italy even patriotism is confused with nationalism and fascism because of Mussolini, as well as the love and respect for ancient Rome are percieved from common people as things for fascists: fascism even destroyed our national pride.
We Italians together with our "liberators" fought against those monsters. Now we want them again.
