Water flow is very important for a planted tank but doesn't need to be too strong. More strong it is, more oxygenation you have. Water must flow gently and reach the entire tank so CO2 can reach all plants and dissolve in the proper way. There are lot of wrong information out there and people just messing their tanks because they get wrong info and they don't have patience at all to wait for results. They forget the most important thing about aquascaping, it was made for relaxing and not to stress..
The rams look gorgeous in there 😍 amazing job on the aquarium! Maybe consider making a video on some of your favorite scapes that youve made? I love how you can see the pearls of oxygen that have been caught in the plants- it gives the tank a really fresh and healthy look
Usually I have more pearling, but since I wanted to record the video I had to switch off the CO2 a few hours before just to keep it clean. Some parts of the video were recorded after I switched again the CO2 to show what comes from the reactor. A video about my favorite tanks can a good idea, I'm sure lot of people have seen them already but they don't have any idea who made them.

Hi Filipe, I learned so much thing from your video s. One question I have how do you measure the ppm values of the fertilizer s you are using? I mean are you using some tools to measure?
I stop measuring values... I don't remember last time I did and I'm not chasing them. I'm just relying on what each fertilizer mentions in the label, then by looking to the plants, I just dose more or less... Since I'm doing lean fertilization routine, I never have nutrients in excess, so anytime I dose something will be immediately taken by the plants.
Beautiful scape and explained everything so nicely helped me a lot in resolving my issues on my planted tank. It will be really helpful how much bubbles for 350liter should be given to have an healthy tank.
Thanks for your feedback. About the CO2, it depends on your CO2 diffuser or reactor. If you can't read it from the plants, I suggest to you the use of a drop checker. Try to keep the CO2 levels light green to yellow under very intense light. Moderate light, green to light green is enough.. And always keep an eye on your fish's behavior, if they are to close of water surface and stressed, you need to decrease the CO2 a little bit. Hope it helps 😉

@@FAAOAquascaping I'm sorry if I was not clear....I was talking about the shape of the area where you have the rotalas, that it looks rounded...how you trim those plants to have a rounded shape...I have rotalas hra and everything grows at the same time :(
I know what you mean, that you only get with trimming. Think on that as trimming outside bushes... You just need to do it inside of the tank in the same way. Trim... Trim...

Hi Filipe, what do you recommend to keep a clear sand path in the middle? Similar to how this tank was in the beginning. I have a winding white sand path in the middle but worried the slope of Amazonia pebbles will go onto the white sand. Is it risky to wait for my plants to root to create that natural barrier? i.e. will it happen fast enough. also I heard best to wait for shrimps, because they can roll down the pebbles
Big slopes and shrimps are a nightmare unless you let the soil compact, plants start to spread and almost cover it. Then you just trim them near the sand and lower you can, then you can easily remove the excess like I did few days ago to keep that place clean. instagram.com/p/CCEB8HYn9Bv/?igshid=ndyfij2ixsrs But in the beginning you need to vacuum it a few times and be adding more sand to keep it nice.
