To all the people saying "you missed the acid edge" it was already in the game before 1.4 so that's why its not here :)
But where does it lies in between those weapons as its really good in early ng+(from my pov) if you get the right trinket. So.....
You cant be serious with the ant queen staff. Its dps is too god, it requires no ammo and bugs have no resistances against it unlike the spicy staff. Half of the upper yard is resistant to spicy damage. But the ant queen staff is just an S tier ranged weapon. Best of the bests in range.
@@lolokovec963850 damage and slow attack speed is good? Thats low tier 2 levels of dps. Spicy staff isn’t great for dps either but it does more damage and works with whistle wizard. Do you play mild without ng+ or somthing? The bard’s bow has more dps, heck, even the insect bow has more dps than that… thing.
@@Khaizen10 ng 4 but okay. It literally did more damage to broodmother than any other weapon. Because all other weapons have weapon types. Which bosses are resistant to. This weapon doesnt. It is good against everything.
@@lolokovec9638you do you. However, 50 base damage per hit vs 125 damage per hit (infused club) 125 will win even when it’s reduced by resistances most of the time.
They did unique looking battleaxes dirty imo. They totally could have kept Finale Fury, but that was given to the reskins. It makes a bit more sense, but it's also not much visual variety.
Also, find it lowkey funny that the Club of the Mother Demon ended up overtaking the BiS weapon in the game again, just in a different form. Not just for its qualities, but also because you don't need to waste a mutation slot on Barbarian.

Yeah, i really dont understand it. Everyone, and i mean EVERYONE went for the unique looking Axes.
The Apex Predator Effekt for the Club of the MD is Uber-Trash anyways. You only get a 20% Chance to apply Venom that does faaaar too less Damage.
Its 45 Damage every 5 Seconds. Thats 7 Dps .... 7!!!
They should’ve made the unique ones have more damage but lower speed.
Blazing Edge is the perfect counterpart when you use Fresh axes. You need spicy for Black ants since they resist Fresh AND Axe so you do literally no dmg in higher newgames, also i dont know if it is a bug but Infected Soldier Ants are Resistant to Fresh and weak to spicy somehow? I found it to be more useful than i thought it would be :)
Imagine If CDiinky had a low tapper fade
Also a strat I learned with the mant, when he summons in the baby mant you can loot it get the weapon and die, leaving the original mant alive
Side note: it could be patched now 🤷

Thanks for the great guide mate! The reskin battleaxes probably will be my first weapons at lvl 15, together with spicy staff for that AOE goodness, sour staff for the Javamatic fireflies and Breathslayer which absolutely MELTS the surprisingly challenging Mant!
Also I'm still quite a fan of the non-infused Blaster of the Moldy Matriarch cuz I'm weird like that and love chucking nades into big groups of enemies and antlion holes.
Does this mean that as soon as access to the infused club becomes available, all other weapons become unnecessary? With rare exceptions, such as daggers, for traveling underwater
If you get really good modifiers yes but still has its pros and cons

Solid list. Hopefully they give the new battleaxe models a unique, stronger effect to keep them up with the SBA reskins
By the way losing slashing on the scythe when choosing an element is beneficial, as it's initial dual weapon type makes it go through 2 resistances common to most bosses and strong bugs. NG+ kinda forces you down elemental anyway with the trinkets/T4 weapons having elemental damage ups
So this stuff is incredibly grindy to upgrade past level 9, which was grindy itself. Would i eventually be any better off with any of these weapons or just keep upgrading the stuff i have? Gotta decide something coz i'm only on NG+1 and i'm getting killed all to death. Need my damage to at least keep pace with these ginormous enemy health bars.

Seeing fire ant queen staff in D tier gives me physical pain, it has quickly become one of my favorite weapons and is my #1 pre NG+ weapon for the mantis and roly polies. High fire rate, high damage and the damage increase of the fire ant armor set increases its damage. I also think it ignores enemy defense?
Ikr, I wouldn't say its that good as a weapon, to me it's more of a tool.
but the free ammo, great range, decent damage, it definitely trumps all other ranged options imo
So...in total there are 5 mint, 5 sour, 4 spicy, and 2 salty elemental wepons in whole game... if we got 4 wepons 1 spicy and 3 salty every element would have 5 of those. But why do that?

You should have said what the extra effect at level 6 is for all of the weapons.
You put a visual note that the Ant Queen Staff isn't ng+ exclusive, but the Ant Scepter isn't either.
You said the Ant Queen Staff deals the same damage type as the Spicy Staff, but it doesn't.

@@CDiinky Aah okay. I find it has some good potential for a non-boss summon build because its superior fire rate plus its AoE can summon stuff faster than any dagger.
Also I tested it and while Whittle Wizard does not grant any extra effect it does affect its stamina cost for firing.
yea the infused club is crazy ngl, i got fresh up best and fresh up majour on one with fresh up best,boss dmg and ibm damage on a science cone and it absolutely destroys the ibm in NG+6 for me
Me personally, giant sword looks cool even if it takes half my screen so the breathslayer’s design is a W in my book

And the ant staff is amazing as a utility otem lol... personally I use it most to cheese stuff, but it helps me kill those pesky infused ants when they're running away from their inevitable death lol
@Cdiinky You should do some comparisons with weapons that have the implant damage effect. Buddy and I are doing a playthrough and find this is one of the best ways to substantially increase your damage. We see it a lot in NG+1 and it is actually a very strong enhancement for multiple players. I run a trinket with implant weakness: sour and he has one with Sour damage major and it's a really nasty combination. Especially since infusion crystals are very hard to come by in large quantities and we have to be mindful of what we upgrade. I think folks are sleeping on this buff (or debuff)

Breath slayer and tingle tongue are my favorite weapons after the recent change bc they both work with samurai and i already loved blade master, and now my silly sword does stun!

For me, the way I play, frosted flake actually just got so much better... you're supposed to block cancel the 3rd attack to start attacking faster without needing speed buff... having more stamina is far better for that...
Um. If you max stamina in 3 times from ng+ you it won’t be a problem anymore. Chopper also helps a lot with stamina. It removes the stamina recharge time delay when you’re not exhausted.

I absolutely despise the red ant queen scepter it has HORRIBLE damage and it was a complete waste because I don't use summons I literally reloaded my save just so I never wasted my red ant queen pheromones on it I should've poisoned her instead honestly it does absolutely NO DAMAGE AT ALL
Acid damage doesn't need to reduce armor. It does true damage
I have an infused dagger at max level with salt infusion... salt damage best, salt damage major and I use a trinket that injects salt weakness. That shit is s++ tier. It drops bosses so fast. I can do like 20 hits to their 1
Shcmector (idk how to spell it😂😂) is not too hard in ng+ unless you get the venom on hit or spicy/sour abilities, high defense with schmector isn’t so bad just makes the fight take a little longer
I kinda like katana weapons, I know they are "weaker" than axe but the damage reduce and parry bonus and if you manage to get a trinket with final fury and samurai (especially because I play multiplayer and splash damage like breathslayer isnt good because I hit allies)

the scythe shreds the infected broodmother try it out down the fresh path. i’m in new game 5 and it’s really been destroying her on medium mode.

Cause like I jsut got to ng1 and the only thing I want and got was the new sword and like 400 k raw science , I really want to start getting waffles and cones a lot more , I got some good crinkles like life steal , infected broodmother damage but it’s like really slow and I’m not really tryna play slow for the next 3 ng pluses

Breathslayer with samurai shreds most upper yard enemies. The edges just have good dps with no investment. Infused clubs just do insane dps. What would you rank them?
