Jesus is the love of your life.
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. ✝🌅
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. ✝🌅
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
      Matthew 22:2-5 ✝🌅

You know what's funny, I was telling a friend of mine the first time I saw Jordan play on tv was a game against the Celtics. And on this particular play, Jordan went up with two hands and literally put the opponents hand in the rim with the ball. I believe it was Reggie Lewis. And he had his hands on the ball as if he was blocking it. But MJ overpowered him at the rim. I was like, "Yo, what the heck!"
But I have an even better story. About 20+ years ago I was at my cousin's wedding and the R&B singer Brian McKnight sung at his wedding. I was talking to Brian at the reception and he told me that he played at few days ago with MJ. And I was a huge fan back of MJ back then. He said the one thing that surprised him was how strong MJ was. He was like, "Yo, he is mad strong." That was around 1994-1995.

FAU and U of M playing in the final four, and the almost chance of seeing them play each other was amazing.
San Diego State getting to the final game? That is amazing.
Crazy times. Fun games. Excellent play. Next year should be interesring. Those schools leveled up to recruitment mode, and less of the homegrowm talent mode. (Edit: nah, not less homegrown...just exponentiated global mode. Hopefully they do not lose too much talent in the draft for the nba. Or hopefully they do maybe.)

I caught this Bulls/Knicks game live on national TV when MJ threw down that dunk on Ewing (beginning at the 3:11 mark). Marv Albert was the announcer and when Jordan did his thing, all Albert could say, "Oh what a move by Jordan!" If you replay it, you'll see that he actually schooled three Knicks together on that single play. Years later I recall Albert saying that was perhaps the single best move he'd ever seen by any player.

MJ's prowess and dominance in the 90's were incredible..
Millennials have missed the true GOAT..
Thats why they marvel now at Lebron n Curry but as great as they both are..
MJ is far more superior defensively n offensively
No need even to talk about the mindset😉
I was 15 years old very sportive guy and very good at playin soccer in France as a striker in club but one night on canal+
I was able to watch a full game where MJ was playing..I was astonished by the beauty of its game and the smoothness and the air time was so phenomenal !!! I said damn I must start playin hoops
For sure I knew and saw Kareem...Magic ..n Bird highlights but none of these great players gave me the envy to switch from soccer to basketball
    MJ did..

Part of what made the old NBA so great was watching a team get beat in the playoffs year after year by their arch-rival until they finally get tough enough to break through, especially in the East. The Pistons got mashed repeatedly by the Celtics until they broke through. The Bulls were crushed repeatedly by the Pistons until they got tough enough to beat them. And although the Bulls-Knicks was an awesome post season ticket the Knicks couldn't get over that hump. Great times.

@@fawkkyutuu8851 My top three are Jordan, Bird and Magic (tied for #2) followed closely by Kareem then Wilt. Lefraud would have just been another Karl Malone had he played in the 80's and 90's. But Jordan and Bird were just driven by something else that you simply cannot describe. Had Bird's back not quit on him he would be right up there in scoring.

My Uncle was a Die-Hard Bulls fan, and a body guard at the Chicago Art Institute; He got assigned to Jordan one day - got to eat with him and a few others, and got his autograph for me and his son, he also took me to a game that year (I was 8) and I still remember to this day, the Bulls beating the Hawks 97-90, and Jordan had 47pts, Rodman had 21 rebounds. Jordan had a breakaway dunk in the 3rd quarter that lit up the place, it was outstanding.

13:32. The problem with that story is that according to Magic, NOBODY wanted Isiah on the team, because he was an asshole & no one liked him. Magic has said that it was ultimately HIS decision to not have Isiah in the team.

One word: intensity. Oh and concentration. 2 words. Oh and dedication. 3 words. Oh and commitment. 4 words. You take away all his "talent" and he's still the best basketball player that ever lived. I was there as a kid, a fat whit boy that loved the montreal Canadians. There were glimpses of what I saw with black Jesus on the ice with certain players, players you just felt awe in watching, the scores were different at the end of the games but in no particular order on the ice, just watch. Paul Coffee, Larry Robinson, Patrick Roy, there are many more. If you haven't seen Paul Coffee skate and play the position you have no reference points. The game has changed just like in basketball. Can't compare a Chelios, a Samuelson, a mark messier,a guy carbaneau to what you see today, they all had more of what mj had, it's not nostalgia.

One difference is that Kobe is Jordan's little brother. He won't do him dirty.
If ever Kobe personally attacks MJ, if MJ takes it personally like what all other players did, it would be a different story.
But damn MJ and Kobe are true brothers it is a blessing to have watched both
