At first I didn't like the closet doors cause I thought they looked a little bulky but the final result looks beautiful !! Love how they match the restroom door it really tied it all together 😍

After buying our first house my boyfriend and I were OBSESSED with binge watching all of the Weekender videos! I was especially excited for this one because I love watching Katy and Joons! When I found out they were making this vid together i couldn’t wait to see it, and WOW it was such a beautiful makeover! Two of my favs together at last 😭

My favorite part of the room are the beams ! Love that they are blue and not white or brown like you normally see. It’s a unique staple that makes the barn doors make sense in the space. Obsessed with this video. Love you Katy + Joons

I adore style shows like Mr. Kate but Monica makes DIY and style seem more accessible to me. My Hubby Sir Mix A Hubbers and I have an adorable 1938 Tudor style house and we are literally building the majority of our storage and furniture from scratch. Monica is the inspiration behind it!

And we are almost closing it and making it officially our first home ... and thinking about furnitures and the appliances and painting high ceiling (previous owners painted it dark maroon and dark grey)will cost so much!! Watching this makes me wanna cry! It’s so beautiful! Although we won’t have much in our home , we are just fortunate enough to be owning one . ❤️
