hmmm I never thought about shopping the whole store instead of staying in that room-zone. I need a cabinet for my sewing room badly and now I'm thinking one of those tool cabinets like my hubby has in the garage would be perfect. "A weekend and a little paint" right Monica!!
Monica u are exceptionally good...this channel lose their big audience when they stop this show "weekender" But u are absolutely amazing nd so talented magnetic to attract all previous audience nd all new ppl..no one can resist to praise ur exceptional good nd unique ideas of make over..keep it up..loveeeeeee ur transformation..love from pakistan...❤❤❤ ...
My biggest takeaway from watching your videos is learning to trust the process. All i can say about this one is, just wow! I was so skeptical about the color and the painting but I am sold! Also, our main walls are painted a certain way and need to be refreshed but I didn't know know how to replicate i. This is exactly it! Thank you!
Lovely transformation! The neutral limewash on the walls is perfection. The new vanity and mirrors were spot on. The ceiling and feature corner waterfall backdrop with wall shelving is absolutely stunning! The painting is pretty but got a little lost in the mix. Maybe hang the plants or use floor plants, or a lower/longer console. Only thing I found jarring was the gray armoire. Maybe instead wood toned to match the vanity, lime washed like the walls, dark brown from the shower tiles or black like the hardware. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ❤🎆🎇✨
I agree about the color of the armoire. I think it should be a color closer to that of the vanity and possibly taller - there is something about the height that feels "off" to me. But the extra storage is great and I like that it has glass so that you can see where your most used products are and grab them easily when needed.
this is awesome! I know this is such a small detail, but I feel like making the shade on the window a light wood/rattan shade instead would've helped balance the wood in the room better. Right now the wood looks to be more centered towards the entrance. Anyways, awesome work!
I really like what you did with the corner shelf to make the tub look more intentionally askew. Love the lights and all the storage, and the oil painting! The only things I didn't like was too many mixed faucet finishes and the hole around the tub fixtures, I thought there might be some way to make that a bit less obvious. And maybe would paint the gray cabinet a different color, it didn't really go with everything else, but the shape and function was nice.
I absolutley don't like wooden ceiling but in this bathroom it works and brings atmosphere. Well done ! I am a bog fan of using what's good and not throwing everything out.
That makeover is fabulous. The vanity is beautiful and very functional. I love the new light fixtures and mirrors and the black hardware. Adding the wood planks to the ceiling and in the corner by the bathtub and then adding the shelving turned the entire feeling of the room, and added so much functional storage. Also added a great deal of warmth to the room. I'm not a fan of the gray color of the armoir, or its height. I think it could be taller and should be a tone that more closely matches the vanity. I don't see how gray fits in the otherwise natural wood/sort of beige look of the rest of the room. Overall, a stunning transformation!
She said they were going to finish the bottom shelf to protect the wood. The shelf is removable, which would make cleaning easier. Mostly just a dust mop to clean below the shelf & around the tub. 😄✨
I love the corner with the tub but I would have change the tub faucet so I wouldn’t have that hole that makes it look unfinished. Maybe it was not permitted by code, like having exposed piping sounds like something I that is not to code
If it is treated wood that is used, say, for outdoor fencing, no problem. I didn't look for one but I assume there is also a venting fan somewhere in the room since the bathroom look like it was remodeled, it definitely is not a 100 plus year old bathroom!
I thought lime wash was sensitive to humidity? Maybe you thought about that, and that would be good to tell other home renovators that might not know and just follow your advise :). Thanks for a good episode!
Everything really is beautiful. The only thing I think is weird is the shelf that is level with the tub. The cut out around the plumbing is weird and looks like an afterthought.
I really like what you did with this but I keep getting distracted by the fact that every metallic finish in that bathroom is different. The shower has chrome, the tub has brushed nickel, now the sinks have black metal edge mirrors. Honestly it looks 100 times better, but it still needs work.
Erm.. so now there's a gaping hole around the bathtub's tap and showerhead, where dust and water will get into but that they won't be able to access to clean and dry??? Whose genius idea was that???
That spa corner for the tub looks amazing!
This bathroom makeover is amazing. The wooden ceiling and shelves gave it a spa vibe. I love it. Great job Monica
Such an improvement. It was serviceable before. Now it's a destination (and more serviceable to boot).
Another great remodel, Monica! The shelving behind the tub, makes this room! The new vanity is beautiful as well.

What a huge bathroom. Such a fabulous space now. Well done yet again Monica. Great job.
This is a great remodel, I was impressed by the man’s ability to install the wood paneling on the ceiling! Great job.
Monica hits yet another home run!! Awesome transformation as always!!!! ❤❤❤
Woah, that corner shelf completely transformed the bathroom! Totally nailed that spa vibe! Great job as always! 👏👏👏

Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! One of the best Weekender makeovers!! Way to go Monica!
BE-U-TEE-FUL! Such a creative idea for that awkward corner. Love it! 😍
Favorite by far!!! This is fabulous!
I truly love this spa bathroom, it's simply gorgeous

We love hearing your insight, Georgia! Thanks for watching. 💙
Excellent job at bringing it all together. Looks amazing!
So so so awesome!!! That wood on the wall and ceiling is awesome!
I really, really like it. Very nice, especially the shelving behind the tub!
Fave weekender yet!
Beautiful!!! Would never want to leave that tub!

I didn't know this series comes back!!! so happy!!!!!

absolutely love love what you did with the bathtub corner, never would have imagined that.🤩🤩🤩
Beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 great job everyone!!!💗
Wow...just wow❤❤❤!
Really beautiful . Good work and imagination.😊
Great mackover, love the way the corner turned out.
Oh goodness this is a Dream bathroom and beyond!!!
It’s all GORGEOUS!!! 😭💖

I hear you about the hole, and the fact that it is wood sitting on the edge of a tub, which is going to get wet, really doesn't sit well with me.
Commenting for the algorithm bc Monica deserves! 😎 congrats to Monica and the homeowners on another beautiful transformation.
You are so talented!!!
Holy moly, I wish I would have found these videos before I renovated my bathroom! Beautifully done, thanks!
Great design and other changes!! Happy to see Monica on The Weekender too!
I absolutley don't like wooden ceiling but in this bathroom it works and brings atmosphere. Well done ! I am a bog fan of using what's good and not throwing everything out.
Would really love to see you come to the West Coast sometime.

Wow, that’s really ingenious.
Fantastic makeover!
This is such a great remodel! Love it. The tub corner is so functional but also looks nice
Love this.
Just..WOWIIIEE❤❤❤
Monica, the bathroom is magical - just everything 🎉
Love the ceiling and corner shelves !!!!!
Good job. I love it 👌
Monica, you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!
Best episode of this season. Well worth the wait. Congrats, Monica!
Love the ideas of shelves over the bathtub looks beautiful
WOW, beautiful
Lovely Monica. Great transformation.
OMG. Great job! Beautiful!
Love it!
Very cute couple. This is not my style but you did a great job! Love the corner.
Wow love it ❤
I’m sad the episode was only 16 minutes 😔 but the bathroom turning out beautiful! Loved the spa corner
yeah me too!!! I miss the longer ones....
Very nice!
Love it.
It looks gorgeous, but I do wonder how they are going to clean behind the bathtub..
Exactly what I thought, also, I wonder if water will get under the part of the shelf resting on the tub and rot it.
She said they were going to finish the bottom shelf to protect the wood.
The shelf is removable, which would make cleaning easier. Mostly just a dust mop to clean below the shelf & around the tub. 😄✨
There is room on either side of the tub to send a vacuum nozzle into the space to suck out any dust and whatever.
I love the corner with the tub but I would have change the tub faucet so I wouldn’t have that hole that makes it look unfinished. Maybe it was not permitted by code, like having exposed piping sounds like something I that is not to code
Love how it turns out. But does the wood in the space go with the humidity?
If it is treated wood that is used, say, for outdoor fencing, no problem. I didn't look for one but I assume there is also a venting fan somewhere in the room since the bathroom look like it was remodeled, it definitely is not a 100 plus year old bathroom!
Come to Canada Monica!
You know it wouldn’t be free, right?
Looks great!
I absolutely LOVE this!!! Great job!! 💖💞💖
Wow! It looks great! Love the ideas and tips, too!!! 😊
Awesome job!

Nice! 👏👏👏
Love it
Everything really is beautiful. The only thing I think is weird is the shelf that is level with the tub. The cut out around the plumbing is weird and looks like an afterthought.
Beautiful! What color stain did you use?
I would have suggested a pony wall for the toilet
Very nice
I would love to be a part of the weekender project to update my garage.. A she Cave...Thanks
Stunning! As always Monica* #Queenofdiy
Nice 👍,,,
When did the weekender come back?
I really like what you did with this but I keep getting distracted by the fact that every metallic finish in that bathroom is different. The shower has chrome, the tub has brushed nickel, now the sinks have black metal edge mirrors. Honestly it looks 100 times better, but it still needs work.
You don't need to match all the metal finishes in a room for it to look cohesive. Mixed metals have been used in decor for decades.
👍👍👍👍
Lovely BUT black basin faucet, and chrome bath faucet??? 😕
Erm.. so now there's a gaping hole around the bathtub's tap and showerhead, where dust and water will get into but that they won't be able to access to clean and dry??? Whose genius idea was that???
So much brown. The staining on that cheap pine looks terrible.
I love it 😻
