This is such a life call for me...
I was also at NYPL/Bryan Park that very same day. I had my camera with me and I was running to work, feeling horrible because I couldn't stop to snap a click or two... it felt like the perfect photography day... and i was just thinking how I needed to quit my job an pursue my dreams.
And i did so! I quit 2 weeks after that and already had like 5 shoots with models and a dozen more just going out finding cool things in nyc!

Amazing photos Evan! Love the behind the scenes! I saw one of your recent instagram posts that has a pefectly measured white border around the photo when printed, how do you get that? I've watched one of your videos that you size to something like 105% or 110% and while it creates white borders pretty good for instagram the prints do not come out perfectly measured on all sides.

How do you get comfortable taking photos of random people? My biggest hurdle I need to get over with my street photography is using people as subject matter as I always hesitate when people are in my frame, I’m always worried people will see me taking photos of them and have a problem with it or start asking me why I’m taking photos 😅
