I also took the agonizing time to figure out how to play it with single strokes, which requires doing a couple slow doubles with the right foot to maintain a proper RLRL pattern, but I'm still super sloppy at it because of how stupid difficult it is, even after years of knowing how to play it. Thanks! I used the vocal remover from Audacity. This removes things that are mixed in the center in a certain frequency range. So most of the vocals, snare and kick and some of the toms. Then I filtered out as much as possible of the cymbals and remaining toms with an eq. And then I just tried to play the drum parts as accurate as possible so nothing from the original drum parts is audible.
