Sounds like Sami had a cable going bad. I can hear his guitar coming in and out throughout the entire song on my headphones. Also, the gain drops dramatically on his tone on some parts almost like when you turn the signal down on the guitar's volume knob. Bummer... He still rocked the solos!
Yes it's very annoying, if it was a bad cable or something else it would probably annoy the hell out of him and he would stop playing and get it fixed? But he looks like he doesn't notice it. Maybe the mixing guy applied too much gate or something.
@OssianOtt Sounds rather like a gate issue since the quiet sweeping and tapping sections seem to be the only affected ones. If the cable was bad it'd either go completely dead at least for multiple seconds before getting back into proper position or crackle like hell. My bet would be on the gate. An amazing live clip nonetheless.
