I was always nervous to duel. I beat my friends so much they stopped wanting to play. Ymir is my favorite guardian an after watching your vids I decided to see if I was any good on ranked. I'm currently 14 an 3 clawing my way up on ps4. Thanks for the vids your playstyle and builds have made me way better.

Do you like hunters blessing or mages blessing on ymir? Just curious because you used to use mages at lot more a while ago it seemed
Yeah, just a discovery that led me to know hunters makes ymir be able to tower push. Now its not about matchup. Always go hunters cuz it negates ymirs lack of tower push.
@@Ranian how is hunters better than say attackers tho? Isn't the power+pen more dmg to towers then hunters?
If you think of it just based on power yeah, but hunters gives a flat 15 bonus damage per basic, now normally i think with just boots ymir hits tower for 33 or something per basic if he doesnt have hunters. With hunters add the 15 deeps which is more than the little pen/power attackers gives you. Add to that the 15% attackspeed bonus you get when you evolve it turns into a tower massive objective shred.
@@Ranian It also gets another extra 15 per basic when it evolves. So 30 extra damage and 15% attack speed

I've recently been trying sober in duel and just have trouble competing in the late game, any tips?
Just learn building what counters what and gods also, who counters who. 90% time this game mode comes down to counter playing or just counter building. If you confident in your abilities to close out pick and early game god. If not pick a late game hyper carry play safe wait for lvl 20
I don’t play smite anymore I just watch your videos so I was wondering what you meant by Hi-Rez rewarding Titan sitters. I know what Titan sitting is but how is it rewarding now
Its probably not intentional of course. But a lot of mages like poseidon for example. Have limited boxing abilities in the first 15 levels or sub 4-5 items. Then all of thecsudden they expload and are nearly unbeatable. Its hard to finish the titan when he sits behins titan and just spams abilitues to clear wave. You cant tank him and titan at the same time. So if played right he can just sit there doing that for 10min till he exploads.

In a mirror, either beads or bracer. Both because of the early game advantage you can get but really if you can survive without them i think the best set of relics for mirrors late game is blink thorns.

Its simple man, i enjoy smacking people with a god most people this is bad and ymir will get buffed again if anything. The game is balanced around conq and he has very little play time compared to other guardians.
