A Day in the Life of New Construction | Finishing Details of a Remodel, So Much to Do So Little Time

See the final trials and tribulations of a new construction project in this week's video.
We are finally getting towards the end of this project and we can see the finish line. Although it seems like we have been seeing the finish line for months now, it's feels really close now.
With the finish line approaching Sam has to make calls to make our sub-contractors actually show up and finish the outstanding jobs. A punch list is important to keep everything straight, especially all the minor details.
Watch this video to see how Sam calls many of his subs to come out and complete the work, with some footage of Eddy hobbling around with his bad back and cane. Sam goes over a major mistake on the backyard concrete and what the plan is to get it corrected.
Pool tile starts going in, the drainage system is connected to the street, and Sam puts the house numbers up. Eddy complains about spending too much money but he doesn't have too much of a leg to stand on as he is away from the project. Some issues come up with our inspection for our pool enclosure and as the inspector is arriving Sam is trying to solve that issue.
