It's been awhile since I popped asteroids for void opals and such - those planetary graphics look very dated now. But the sounds of the game I totally dig still.
@@Jerfish1 yes the soundscape is still some of the best , especially when dealing with the Thargoids. Totally agree the planet surfaces are not really up to par and can be a bit of a bit and miss. The good ole days of void opals 😎
Hi, small question here :) I’m a noob in space simulation. Can you please tell me what is the best controller to play Elite Dangerous: - mouse/keyboard ? - joypad ? - joystick ? - something else ?
@@pw6002 hi , depends on what your are comfortable with. I currently play with a flight stick ( turtle beach velocity one ) combined with voice attack , for ship control, and a Xbox controller for on foot things. You I alse use the odd keyboard keys and the mouse. I’ve also mapped some buttons to a stream deck. Over time with practice you will find what’s best for you , and also what’s in your budget range.
@@WarDroid303 Thanks for the answer ! Excellent if you can map commands to a stream deck, since I already own one ! I may try keyboard / mouse / stream deck to begin with.

Tbh, it looks like the graphics settings are turned terribly low or something. My game looks nothing like this on planet surfaces.
