Yeah, something about her voice here complemented Gura's voice really, really well. Props to the sound engineer. Also, I am _nasty_ fanatical for Gura's voice (lol) but Ina's voice in this one sounded legit amazing and I almost liked it more than Gura's? Dunno what it is but I like Gura's live voice better than her 'cleaned up' post-processed voice. At least based on this and Sorairo Days vs her several dozen karaoke songs (that I could probably sing word-for-word at this point.)

It’s weird being from WV and singing this after every West Virginia Mountaineer win and hearing this. This song means so much to this state and its people. Life is hard and poverty is rampant, but everyone comes together to sing this song about our home. Thanks Hololive for giving it justice

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Ame’s improvement. When she first debuted she could barely hold a note but now she’s doing so well that her voice hits right in the dopamine.

I think Kiaras singing was really impressive considering she had to pitch her voice so much higher to keep in tandem with the other girls, instead of being able to sing in a more comfortable registry for herself. You're right- even if they all own good microphones, they will all inevitably sound different (different brands/room ambience) so it must have took a very good ear for mixing to make this sound cohesive 👏 EDIT: Also, this was recorded back in October last year, and apparently some of them didn't have the best of mics at that time. As a bit of a vocal snob I can't believe I'm saying this, but I *really like* how Ame was just a _little_ off-pitch on one part. It is SO damn cute. She is legit the only person I can think of whose off-key singing I would willingly choose to listen to and actually enjoy.
Lol, I agree. Ame isn't the best singer and believe me, she knows it. But, she loves music and when she does sing she absolutely gives it her all and that translates into really entertaining performances. She HAS FUN singing songs and isn't that what it's all about?
This song always makes me tear up. I listened to the original while driving home from being in the Marines for 4 years. Police, rescue squads, and fire engines escorted me to my house while I was listening to it. To say I cried would be an understatement. Yeah. I loved their part the most. Their voices go together so well. Gura's part with Ina was also very good, but I definitely liked her part with Ame more.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Ame’s improvement. When she first debuted she could barely hold a note but now she’s doing so well that her voice hits right in the dopamine.
I mean this was recorded about a month after they debuted and you can tell they had to add auto tune to her voice. Of course, she is definitely doing better now

I think Kiaras singing was really impressive considering she had to pitch her voice so much higher to keep in tandem with the other girls, instead of being able to sing in a more comfortable registry for herself. Big props to Ina and Ame as well, because even though they arent the best at singing, they gave it their all and it came out beautifully because of that :)

As a bit of a vocal snob I can't believe I'm saying this, but I *really like* how Ame was just a _little_ off-pitch on one part. It is SO damn cute. She is legit the only person I can think of whose off-key singing I would willingly choose to listen to and actually enjoy.

This song always makes me tear up. I listened to the original while driving home from being in the Marines for 4 years. Police, rescue squads, and fire engines escorted me to my house while I was listening to it. To say I cried would be an understatement.
