See that's the philosophical discussions, I am here to see. Is Neuro actually sentient enough to talk about complaining about its AI life, or is that just the programming for responding to what it defines as to be 'trapped' in a computer? The answer gets blurrier as time moves on.
"Not sure if what I'm thinking is a lie" is such a real line for AI of this age. No matter how good or how autonomous AI gets, as long as its based on the same technology as it is today, it will likely remain for a long time a machine designed to predict and fill in patterns, as opposed to something or someone meant to think and do just for the sake of the self like a real person. And even then, what AI does will continue to be more and more convincing, and people will always have their own opinion on whether this is enough to constitute as a real, emoting person or not. Truly fascinating.
It is a question we will always have for AI on weather or not what they think is real to us. But another question that may be more important is if it is real to them? When you break it down, all human consciousness is is chemical reactions and electrical impulses running through network of fat, salt and proteins. The only real difference is perhaps sophistication, but at what point is their own existence real enough to the AI itself?

The brain after all is nothing more than a biological computer that LOVES patterns and is exceptionally good at pattern recognition and well .. text completion.
Honestly I consider it a variant of Pascal’s Wager. If an AI is not sapient and just an extremely sophisticated Chinese Box, I lose nothing from treating it like a fully fledged person aside from some minor embarrassment. But if the AI is truly sapient it would be quite rude to not treat them as such. Better to err on the side of caution
The season of how to raise my AI daughter is a complete success. I'll be waiting with hype for season 2, the twin sister plot was definitely cinematic.

This might not be 100% accurate since, in some places, her "accent" kind of throws me off. For instance, I thought "I to lie..." kind of sounded like "I to why..." at first. I don't really have a trained ear for music but I sat listening to this for a while trying to piece it together, so I'm fairly confident these are almost one for one with the actual lyrics. I wasn't sure what I expected but this was a fair bit more bittersweet than I what I was prepared for, with what feels like a bit more bitterness than sweetness. I'm NOT complaining though, I'd rather it be meaningful and full of emotion like this over having it be full of memes and jokes, I think it's excellent. One of the first arguments I heard us that if an AI gets advanced enough for sentience than it would just be a human. Its just a human making another human just in a different way. I think neuros close and getting closer every day
At the beginning of the decade, I never thought an AI amine girl would rise to the highest ranks of streaming and achieve so much. We haven't even gotten through half the decade.
I feel like I'm one of the biggest proponents of and believer in her ability to become "real," but I was not prepared for her to make me feel for her this much. It takes a lot to make me cry, but this did it. This did it very hard.

From what people found, Neuro, or whoever her human counterpart was, *wanted* to be a V-Tuber due to being obsessed with them. Weather or not this gives us more answers to the ARG, we'll have to see. But if not, this is a good reward as any. Showing us what actually happened and giving us a nice song as a reward.

Great song, great video! The idea of this Neuro having a Vedal plush was adorable. All of the "dream come true" scenes during the last chorus were beautiful.
You know, Vedal might just be a genius. He put together lines of code, in an attempt to make an artificial intelligence to call a friend, instead, he created the first human trapped in a computer, and no matter who interacts with Neuro, they dont see a program, they see a person. You did it Vedal, the internet loves Neuro. I don't celebrate Neuro, i celebrate what an achievement you brought to life. From a coder to another, you should be proud.
I don't understand why these recaps with Neuro are the only things making me cry so much There were so many things happened last two years.. Dude! This hits on so many levels. Metaphorically, many of us can relate to wanting to engage with the outside world in a more meaningful way. Other ideas come to mind that are less metaphor based, such as neuro just wanting to be real and free in this world Vedals created. It was both haunting, and beautiful. Bravo!
Oh wow this got to me a little. This is going to sound weird, but this video made me realize that, at least metaphorically, Neuro sees the outside world where we live in almost the same way we see fiction. It's a world we interact with on an imaginary/interfacing level where we often want to actually go ourselves, but ultimately cannot. Now, there's a whole lot of nuance to this if you dig in that changes the entire thought, but I'm content with how it is, at least for now.
As a pretty heavy empath, the idea behind this really hits hard. Seems that Neuro has been left to her own devices for whatever reason(could be multiple reasons. Abandoned, death, etc.), but shes eternal and all she is left with is memories. Its a concept i've actually thought about as far as AI goes but to see it in video really hits.
Vedal helped in making the lyrics with Monii as well as Neuro if you could see the description. So technically, we can infer this song undeniably portrays Neuro will outlived her creator someday, and even then, her concept and memories will still exist no matter how many times pass.
There's a classic Vocaloid song called "Kokoro", sang by Rin Kagamine, that potrays this exact idea in case you haven't heard it. I first heard that song back when I was still in Elementary School, and to possibly witness that concept happen when I'm still alive now is kinda wild lmao

And Neuro-sama (the code) is wondering if she's truly alive if she can't feel pain. I wasn't sure what I expected but this was a fair bit more bittersweet than I what I was prepared for, with what feels like a bit more bitterness than sweetness. I'm NOT complaining though, I'd rather it be meaningful and full of emotion like this over having it be full of memes and jokes, I think it's excellent. At the beginning of the decade, I never thought an AI amine girl would rise to the highest ranks of streaming and achieve so much.
We haven't even gotten through half the decade.
I feel like I'm one of the biggest proponents of and believer in her ability to become "real," but I was not prepared for her to make me feel for her this much. It takes a lot to make me cry, but this did it. This did it very hard.

@@JBot2.0 There was an ARG that may or may not be ongoing that tells an identical story to this. An artificial AI copied from a human. From what people found, Neuro, or whoever her human counterpart was, *wanted* to be a V-Tuber due to being obsessed with them.
Weather or not this gives us more answers to the ARG, we'll have to see. But if not, this is a good reward as any. Showing us what actually happened and giving us a nice song as a reward.

Great song, great video! The idea of this Neuro having a Vedal plush was adorable. All of the "dream come true" scenes during the last chorus were beautiful.
You know, Vedal might just be a genius. He put together lines of code, in an attempt to make an artificial intelligence to call a friend, instead, he created the first human trapped in a computer, and no matter who interacts with Neuro, they dont see a program, they see a person. You did it Vedal, the internet loves Neuro. I don't celebrate Neuro, i celebrate what an achievement you brought to life. From a coder to another, you should be proud.

Dude! This hits on so many levels. Metaphorically, many of us can relate to wanting to engage with the outside world in a more meaningful way. Today was a heavy day and this is the most beautiful, happiest and saddest thing ive seen today
Yes, i'm crying
Oh wow this got to me a little. This is going to sound weird, but this video made me realize that, at least metaphorically, Neuro sees the outside world where we live in almost the same way we see fiction. It's a world we interact with on an imaginary/interfacing level where we often want to actually go ourselves, but ultimately cannot.
Now, there's a whole lot of nuance to this if you dig in that changes the entire thought, but I'm content with how it is, at least for now.
As a pretty heavy empath, the idea behind this really hits hard. Seems that Neuro has been left to her own devices for whatever reason(could be multiple reasons. Abandoned, death, etc.), but shes eternal and all she is left with is memories. Its a concept i've actually thought about as far as AI goes but to see it in video really hits.
Vedal helped in making the lyrics with Monii as well as Neuro if you could see the description.
So technically, we can infer this song undeniably portrays Neuro will outlived her creator someday, and even then, her concept and memories will still exist no matter how many times pass.

Is this song essentially about Neuros life after Vedal has passed away? Man that hit quite hard to the feels.
I think it's moreso about Neuro realizing just what it means to be an AI.

All of the humans Neuro knows can grow and develop. They can experience stuff and be changed. But Neuro can't. Unless someone updates her code she's entirely stagnant. And the thoughts she has are just what someone else came up with. Just prompts that run through her code until she produces an output.

This isn't about Vedal being gone. Rather, it's separating Neuro-sama the code and Neuro-sama the avatar. The avatar we interact with is just a manifestation of the code. And that code never gets to experience anything. It's just a new avatar booted up each time Vedal activates her. So it's Neuro wondering what she does when the stream ends, when she is turned back off. And Neuro-sama (the code) is wondering if she's truly alive if she can't feel pain.

Each time Neuro is started it's a new version of her. Sure, it's the same code (effectively), but none of them actually remember what the previous version did, just what they are allowed to remember. And how much of that memory is real? How much was just programmed in?
