Who else, when hearing this, relives riding this ride at night, towards the end of your Disney trip? Perhaps a bit damp from grizzly river run. Maybe a bit exhausted from a long day. A little sad and nostalgic because your Disney trip is about to end, but still happy that you have a few more rides to go. Who thinks of all that?

I'm mad they replaced this with Soarin' Around he World. It should have stayed Soarin' Over California since the the ride was in California Adventure. Just keep it California Themed.
I agree! I feel like if they really wanted to change it, it seemed like a great idea to change the Florida one, where the California theme is out of place already. It seemed like a good idea to change Florida's, but changing California's was just the stupidest thing they could have done.

However, Disneyland with my family was one of my favorite childhood memories. The Redwood Forest is also nice. If it weren't for the political garbage, California would be an amazing state. Still not as good as Alaska though ;).

I’m so sad I couldn’t enjoy this ride :( I was around 19 when I got on it and I suffered a major panic attack while on it :( as soon as it was over I ran to the bathroom across from the ride and just balled my eyes out 😪 even watching this video makes my palms sweat 😪
+Smoke screen It should be a fun and worthy replacement. Honesty there isn't much in the existing ride that's exclusive to California (really just the golden gate bridge and DL) so it be too far fetched to think about replacing it with iconic locations from around the world

And plus this version of soarin came back in both 2019 and 2020 and they should keep at least one California themed ride in CALIFORNIA adventure. And they should bring back both California Screamin’ and Paradise Pier in 2021 for California Adventure’s 30th anniversary
Why did they change it? This was my favorite ride! It was in "California Adventure" They shouldn't have changed the name (or ride) I will miss that feeling of the golf ball hitting my face ;(
I rode that ride in Epcot and in DCA either and I rather prefer the one in EPCOT as it can be considered to be a better 4D experience specially because of the different smells there are.
+HPArrow 0999 I prefer the DCA version over Epcot's anyway. I've ridden Epcot's many many times and have never enjoyed it. There is lacking of theming in Florida's and is very bare. Also back in the spring DCA had Soarin' over California's screen fixed and made it 24fps and 4K. I'm sure Florida is doing that right now.

This ride is one of my favorites! Still, the Radiator Springs ride holds the title for best ride in Disneyland!
I went on this 15+years ago as a child and too this day it is one of my fondest memories ❤❤ thanks for the trip down memory lane.

They should've kept this ride CA themed but with updated footage and better transitions between scenes.
