Thanks. I appreciate it. I took up the commentary earlier this year, and it took forever to record trying to make it perfect. So I decided to loosen up and just got with the flow. Now it takes like 20ntp 30 minutes to start to finish and sounds more natural to myself. At the end of the day, I'm a class clown that might make my art teacher happy. I finally make art, even if it's on steel instead of paper.

Those last 2 holes you drilled where the tang meets the handle are compromising the strength. You might get away with that for a kitchen knife. But a camp knife or fighting blade would break over time. Great pattern. I think doing the same thing with smaller bearings and washers would a good one.

I really love the blade. It really came out with eyes, such a great forge. If I could be so bold to offer a suggestion - I might have gone with a muted handle in a natural hue. Dark wood. Ipe, maybe? The magic is in the blade pattern and the current handle draws the eye away from your skills. Just a thought - I'm an idiot with an opinion on the internet. I deserve as much consideration. 😂 Again, marvelous build!

Slow setting epoxy might be due to age/moisture absorption. How long have you had that epoxy sitting around?
With how many knives you make, you don’t need to buy the huge bottles.

They are small 5 minute epoxybi get at home depot for like $20. And I've bought 3 in the last 2 months because I wasn't sure if it was a bad batch or what it was since it's always work for me for the last 3 years with no issues.

Great build I think all you TH-camr knife makers are awesome just asking if you draw lines to know your desired handle thickness using a belt sander why can’t you just cut them with a bandsaw again I just asking

    • @JPsBladeworks

I find it faster to just grind it with the 2x72 especially if it is on the thicker side since it helps the life of the bandsaw blade.
