Very nice. Recently bought this exact car and have been thinking of doing the same
And ? Have you done it ?
How many miles did this car have?
take my money.
how to buy?
Price?
My Civic has 140k km, is it worth doing a remap on an engine with all these km? In my city they guarantee me + 30hp and about 50 / 60nm more.
Engine has no problem with it
But your clutch
Your clutch age will be the problem. If the clutch has been changed in the last 60k miles you'll be fine. If not you need to consider having to change it as with the extra torque, it'll probably start to slip with 140K on it.
@@xrion236 I have covered 25 thousand km and I am close to 170 thousand km in total, no problems with my clutch.
I’m happy with mine as is, 70mpg is too good to lose
The thing is you don't lose it. The MPG should increase around 10% if you used it the same way. But the extra power is there if you want a bit more fun.
Any MPG benefits?
Yes
Just so you know.Honda charge 1500£ for a flywheel and clutch for these not inc fitting also Honda cox has a special at mo for 1k parts only.
Bare this in mind if you remap your car
Theres plenty aftermarket kits, dealers are known as stealers
Mine is stage 1 for last 20k no issues bar dpf lol but im goin stage 3 here with new stage 3 clutch new turbo ect so will let u no what dmf can take
@@mjstewart69 , hello i have a civic 9 1.6i-dtec with stage 1, can you give infos or link for mare than stage 1 please? regards
@@mjstewart69Hi, I also have a 1.6 FK3, could you tell me what you need for stage 3 and how much power you gain?
I did mine however on standstill on second gear maxed I get an error for fuel pressure
Then it wasn't mapped very well.
What's the NM before and after?
320NM Stock
370NM Tuned
+50NM
@@WGMotorworksTH-cam You think is it worth for this engine with over 150k+ km to stage 1?
To have 0 problems in the future what should I upgrade to the car first? Gear box, intercooler, what parts?
@@Shaylesety Yes it would be completely fine, the software has a lot of EGT safety features to ensure on DPF / over heating issues. No mods are required
@@WGMotorworksTH-cam Stock is not 300 ?🤔
@@TX2673XA Stock run our dyno was 320nm, as per graph on video
What would it take to reach about 200hp? In idtec 1.6
hybrid turbo and straight pipe it
Hybrid turbo, intake panel(possibly high flow), egr, and dpf delete whether that's straight pipe or drilling.
