That Mt. Dew bottle , and Death Valley is how I plan on flaggin in some cats in spots where Johnny Sneakums is lurking around this year !!!! That and beer cans !!!
think that would really shine when snow on ground traps set under on your beaver snare guy from sd dug little trench for snare to set so beaver wouldnt drag up with feet if they were walking but if angle is up enough he will be walking on hind ft thanks alot
High as you want to Paul. But remember that the higher they are the more likely the predator is to lose the scent of it the closer it gets to it. But that's also where your lures at the set kick in too.
I'm trapping for land predators in New Mexico on private land. My main prey was bobcats grey fox and coyotes. Thanks for spelling his name. Ive got results for him now.
heard you wetre going after beaver instead of coons believe that could be good idea with allvery low water coons very suspectible to distemper now maybe out in open country fencelines may not be so congregated but those beaver where ever there at come spring they wont hardley move even though breeding season now all could change with lot of snow for runoff but groenwald doesnt have any and there is decent market may not be what we want but as far south as you are lot of season to trap if you want later when coons move for breeding season guy from sd told me them boars would come out up there no later than 20 jan be very good fur then and they are hungry
I'm gonna trap coon in between my beaver locations Steve. Treat em like we used to treat possum. They're gas money. I live in Southern Iowa. What else am I gonna trap? I appreciate you watching
Johnny Thorpe sure would give you a thumbs up on this Dale great job and respectful of the great trappers that came before us Thankyou Sir
Thanks Edgar. Johnny was a friend of mine. He was quite the man.

High as you want to Paul. But remember that the higher they are the more likely the predator is to lose the scent of it the closer it gets to it. But that's also where your lures at the set kick in too.
