This is Mone of My favorite Buckethead solo's of All time...this whole wetlands concert is one of his best shows ever......I was there * it was pure MAGIC !!!!
If you get and understand the right feeling that he does you are able to share that with him! Its strange and at the time incredible how the human has evolved in music, isnt it? For me the best... God be with you!
stratocaster is one of the most awesome guitars ever because you can make any kind of guitar sound out of strats: just pick your pickups, different necks, strings, wood, even glass pickguards or hollow bodies.
:))) FatToti you have some strange ideeas but well that a little bite right :))) dude buckethead playin' on a strat look's like a big basketball playa with a ping-pong ball :)))
. . . I have seen some shit in my life, and that was probably the best solo I have ever seen. Ever. I've watched Vai, Petrucci, all of them, and it doesn't touch this. Wow.
For this he had the amp turned all the way up its pretty easy to hear its at its peak and a delay pedal nothing else. Thats how easy it is to get this sound out of the strat. No wonder it is the chosen guitar of many giants. Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Hazel, Eddie Van Halen. His shredding if you notice he is doing with the single coil neck pickup, and this is a mexico strat for sure due to the bridge. By 95 the american standard had a different style bridge with merely two screws. I could be wrong though.
He sometimes is and sometimes is not. When he's fingering and not picking, he keeps the pick in between the two joints of his index finger. It's a really neat trick to learn.
I wouldn't go so far as to say freak. Buckethead just has a different mentality of the world and sees it differently. But yes he is a bit "odd". Of course all this means shit if he writes and plays songs like this. ROCK ON BUCKET!!!
Imagine interworld and the new innocence and animal behaviour having twin babies together, and then those babies are locked in a dungeon and given a guitar to play with, taught by god (which was taught by buckethead) and then having inhuman robotic powers inserted into their fingers, and then THEY have a baby which is frowned upon in most societies because they're siblings but not this time because this here music is the sound of that baby. So, I'd say that's pretty much what this sounds like.
@deano7861 Nope, that is actually part of the song Animal Behavior and also used in The Interworld and the New Innocence on the same album. I guess you could call it a concept album with recurring themes.
@FatToti God gave talent to buckethead and buckethead has never abused that talent for his own personal gain,''Buckethead could be a huge succsess if it wasn't for his appearance,''i think? Buckethead is for real no matter what the status quo or masses say about him,'' In the good book it says ''Humility comes first before true honer of hero '' And buckethead has had more than his share,''compared to other musicians buckethead can entertain people on his worst night all by himself.
so nobody can see his mechanical arms dude....duh!!! lol....not really sure just his look, I've seen him play with his shirt off with the deli creeps but never in todays age.
back in these days he loved to use high treble pickups and crank the overdrive with shitty guitars, but somehow he still makes them sound amazing to me. You gotta admit he made it sound like it was singing. amazing stuff

Wow crazy seeing Bucket with a Strat. neat.
BH can play anything and sound magical. String a rubber band between a sandwich and hey, listen to that Machete solo !!
BH is a true master of music...EPIC!!!
That strat looks like a toy guitar in his hands
WHAT A BADASS.
If you get and understand the right feeling that he does you are able to share that with him!

For me the best...
God be with you!
Kinda scary how big his fingers look on a normal sized guitar!
2:05, coolest pick scratch I’ve ever heard. And the strum afterwards, chefs kiss.
Best video on youtube as far as I'm concerned.
cool version of this, very nice.
wow, it's the first time I see Buckethead live playing a strat

thanks for posting this one!
THIS SONG IS PURE LOVE
Cool, never seen him using Stratocaster!
BH can really carry that strat. He should play more on it.
Such amazing tone out of that strat, I would love to know his setup for this show
Just... WOW.
at the start it's Interworld, then it become Animal Behavior
I'm seeing him with a strat for the first time.
:))) FatToti you have some strange ideeas but well that a little bite right :))) dude buckethead playin' on a strat look's like a big basketball playa with a ping-pong ball :)))
That guitar looks so small on him
Buckethead can probably shred air with his pick and still make music by creating friction against oxygen molecules. Air guitar, indeed.
DAMN That tone is Spanky!
what year man this is the embodiment of nostalgia
listen to his albums ' electric tears' and 'colma'
Damn he can conceal that pick so fucking fast when he switches to his sweep and tap combo.

Its slash's half brother from Mike Myers. This guy is a very interesting performer.
Nope, thats an normal strat but as u know buckethead is kinda huge irl and the les paul hes uses now is 10% bigger than a normal LP
oh shit, it is... lmao... i can't believe i didn't recognize him... thanks... :-)
man , i love this song....
I wouldn't go so far as to say freak. Buckethead just has a different mentality of the world and sees it differently. But yes he is a bit "odd". Of course all this means shit if he writes and plays songs like this. ROCK ON BUCKET!!!
i'd say he's the chuck noris of guitar world, and becker would be the bruce lee

can i get that wetlands concert on dvd or something ?
sweep arpeggios are not a difficult technique if practiced slowly. Alternate picking on the other hand can be really hard going :)
2:09 so sweet hahaha wut the hell is that called
Guitarworld dimension , that’s music history
at 1:03 he just create a little heaven place but at 1:10 he just fell his guitar
@deano7861 Nope, that is actually part of the song Animal Behavior and also used in The Interworld and the New Innocence on the same album. I guess you could call it a concept album with recurring themes.

he hybrid picks here.. shreds shit with his pick and plucks with his fingers.
It is Interworld, but it switches to the Animal Behavior outro.
I would also like to know if an audio bootleg of this is available.
It's a Junior Stratocaster.
?
Looks like toy, lol.
sweep arpegios omfg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!=O
Is there an audio boot available for this show?
Oh...my...god...!
I can easily get an mp3 rip of this video, but what I'm looking for is an actual bootleg, with no youtube compression.
haha bucket on a strat. you never see that
If that is sweep picking, i dont get why he would sweep all the way up on the fretboard. Maybe just to be different?
yeah, thats what I though as well, would explain why it still has the price tag on it, just a loaner/
That strat looks really tiny in his hands.
i agree
OMFG! Did any1 else see that motherfucking sweep?! 2:53 - 2:56 Holy fucking god!
i just discovered buckethead...wtf is wrong with me, WHY DID NO ON TELL ME GGGGRR
which delay pedal he used in this video?
Animal Behavior outro though.
i swear his fingers on his left hand look like there moving too fast for the camera to pik up properly.
EPIC
@spartan3669 Thanks buddy tech, and fellow bot!
what song it's in the intro ?
i suggest ripping it from this site, cause this video got taken off another user's acct.
Fucking sick
Fucking awesome
This is rigth after he smashed his esp rigth?

ive never seen him play on a strat?
that strat looks too little for his hands

What is he doing at 2:53?
A slide...?
so nobody can see his mechanical arms dude....duh!!! lol....not really sure just his look, I've seen him play with his shirt off with the deli creeps but never in todays age.

@eminemforlifenoshit it was actually 1996 ;)
He used one back in the 1990's for playing this and on some Praxis/Axiom Funk tracks.
sweep tapping is wild
@thepain0815 it was a rought estimate and i was preety close :P
@GMorrison22 - HOLY SHIT.
kinda sounds like whitewash in the beginning
@KristyB5 i know dude a strat??? this is soo not like him i just shit my pants this is really old though before he got hooked with his les pauls
i think your rigth
sounds like whitewash =')
that guitar sounds awful
back in these days he loved to use high treble pickups and crank the overdrive with shitty guitars, but somehow he still makes them sound amazing to me. You gotta admit he made it sound like it was singing. amazing stuff
Its a custom shop Les Paul with a volume and 2 tones and a killswitch which cuts the signal to the amp when he pushes the button
