I just posted a new video of my best 60-130 VS after my ported snout was added. I really need a bigger throttle body to make up for the bigger snout. More throttle response and gains are to be had. It's a good and "cheap-ish" mod I think.
Had I put a bigger TB on and get a tune afterwards, I'm sure it would have been louder. I don't have the car anymore, but porting the snout and adding a bigger TB is worth about 25-30rwhp 👍
Personally I’d have liked them to clean it up prior to sending it out. Attention to detail. And pride in your work.
What have you done to
It now
Have you not replaced the drive pin bushings? That’s usually the issue with that sound
The car had low miles so figured that wasn't the case.
What bushing are u speaking off the black things that are on the snout the part we’re it slides in to the supercharger
He has the hellephant snout now
Nice video, so did you feel any noticeable power gain from the porting or have it Dyno’d?
Thanks

@@FitzCityGarage Thanks for the info, I’m looking into this as an option for myself as well. Just subscribed
Appreciate it man!
Did you have to install a new gasket?@@FitzCityGarage
Any difference in the supercharger whine with the ported snout ? Is it louder or the same as with the stock about ?

They get quieter since it’s more efficient now

Did you have to replace your bearings
The new snout came with improved snout bearings 👍
@@FitzCityGaragedo you have to program your car after the snout is ported?
