Hey! I'm a Hellcat owner & I am quite familiar with the supercharger bearing issue. The purple hellcat charger supercharger is doing fine. However I also have a black challenger hellcat that is currently on it's third supercharger. The problem with that car is finally fixed.
Hey Leonard! Thanks for watching. Glad you got your supercharger fixed. It sucks that they had those bearing issues. They finally resolved them, or at least they say they did.
The before definitely had a significant noise. It was very a rhythmic whine. Almost like a bearing needed to be greased. The after was totally different.
i have a 2011 range rover sport super charged... well ... its 2021 and its still on the same super charger from factory its never been changed and im still right on a hell cats ass in a strait line. hell cat beats me by a car length an a half!!! im ok with that.
yeah the hellcat superchargers should have been tsb recall but dodge didnt and screwed alot of people over because of “mods” which is irrelevant when its a known issue with the bearings.. f*ck mopar never again..
2:27 i never aligned a Dodge or Plymouth daily driver, now WHen i raced my Plymouth i got IT aligned. 5 CARS NEW never aligned, i had a guy BS me my truck was out but did not need it
I agree with some of the others who posted in here. I can still hear a little of what I can only guess is bearing noise. Maybe it's poor audio quality (your recorder/my player) or something else entirely.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a 2016 Challenger Hellcat last week. Got it at an Audi dealership in Miami near me and had 1059 miles on it. Was a GM demo car for most of 2017 and first bought last Nov 2017. Both people put 500 miles on it. Mine is M6. I'm a worry wart and careful with all my products so I checked everything out the other day using your video and others to have something to go by. My engine definitely sounds like all the "Good" bearing videos I've seen, so I feel much better. I'm trying to decide if my clutch is slipping or not as I was doing a 3rd gear pull. I don't daily it, but will retest it next weekend. I think its fine, but I know a little more exactly what to look for or test for. Not sure if you've heard from others about common clutch issues or not. Keep good videos coming! Take care!
Question did they replace the entire supercharger or did they replace the bearings? I ask because I got a 2016 challenger hellcat and I think my bearings are finally going out.
GetSocialButterfly thanks buddy! Be sure to help share the channel. 50k subscribers I supercharge the Durango SRT and 100k subscribers I will be getting a duramax!
My Hellcat supercharger has a slight hum at idle and the dealership said it was fine. I have the paperwork where they say that so it's in black and white if something goes wrong.
Great video and I had a 2005 300C. Comfort power and good gas mileage. My 2017 Hellcat is quiet but I have a friend with a 2016 with supercharger noise and stripe problem. His dealer is very difficult as are most here on Long Island NY.
dodge released a supercharger with known common bearing failures, they never issued a tsb or recall, screwed alot of people over period. if you mod your car it’s irrelevant when theres a KNOWN issues with bearings in the blower. When you buy a “sports car with 700 hp” just because you tune a car stand behind ur f*ck up dodge.. you scared me away for good. along with a community of people.
They are cool cars and used to like Chrysler but MAN are there alot of issues! They are shit! No way in hell would I ever buy a Hellcat, or Redeye or Trackhawk or ANY FCA vehicle. Junk, 100% pure junk. By far the WORST made cars on the road.
8:50 is when the video actually starts...
Doing the Lord's work. Thanks
Hell, it sounds almost the same as far as I am concerned. Might want to listen to that again!

Which warranty is this covered under? The basic 3/36,000 or power train 5/60,000?
Ace power train .. going through this myself
Glad you made it to the dealer . You were going to the dealer ? I believe you mentioned going to the dealer .
"So I'm going to pickup my hellcat"
is this video about a Hallcat at the Dealer???
the after sounds like how mine sounds now... the before sounds quieter...
Your exhaust sounds amazing! What are you running???
Mopar shit pipes
Is that pinging sound normal??? Cuz my 2016 doing it
No it's the supercharger bearings. Get then fixed under warranty.
Look like rick and morty 😂
very informative. I just gave you a subscribe. I bought my hellcat about 2 weeks ago for my channel.

Yeah thats pretty ridiculous.

Nice 👌 hair Buddy
The 200 is NOT a great car, it's horrible! Come on!
What did the turbocharger say to the supercharger?
Stop whining. Get it?
*Supercharger: "Damn you suck..."* *Badumh bumh*
Learned nothing!
