A lot of comments about me not being able to “handle” Ultraviolence. I believe these are all in good fun (I hope) but I do want to remind everyone that I am a 37 year old woman who has been through a lot in my life. And with that has continued to walk through life with an open heart and being in touch with my emotions. Let me remind you that having emotions and being open to sharing them does not equal being “weak”. It’s a bit infantilizing to assume a grown woman won’t be able to handle a piece of art because it may be dark, deep or controversial. Again, I really don’t believe any of these comments were made maliciously, but remember that even a joke puts out a narrative that I certainly don’t want being portrayed on my page. I’ve deleted any that made me uncomfortable, so any that are still on here I’m not talking about. Thanks! With love! ❤❤❤
@@PassionDumpofanAutist ow I just read this,I’m so sorry. Just to put out some perspective of my comment, I love being vulnerable and Lana del Rey is all about finding the strength and courage to be vulnerable, so you’re totally right, you don’t seem weak or anything like that at all, I wish and I do hope everyone is just trying to put some warning about it, but it’s been really great to go through this Lana Journey with you
All good! I promise, I also know it comes from genuine concern! It was the way one of the comments was worded that wasn’t my favourite (again, I really don’t believe it was being mean) so just wanted to put my perspective on it early because we’re in for a LONG journey with Lana! Lol
Thank you but definitely no need to be sorry! I took your comment as genuinely being concerned and I appreciate that! I truly do. We’ve got a long journey ahead and it’s good to know a bit of the tone ahead so I can mentally prepare. Apologies if this came off like I was mad at anyone. I really, really appreciate how vulnerable you let yourself be in this video! I find it truly precious that Lana's music can do that to people! When you talked about feeling "seen" it really clicked to me, that this is what Lana's music does to a lot of us in so many ways. I have felt seen or even discovered so much of my personality through her, and her music has even helped me deal with hard times in life because it just makes you go into your own head yet be in sync with everything and everyone around you, even when the song is about difficult topics it feels so peaceful, in a way? she makes me feel like I will be okay no matter what, without having to rub that in my face with toxic positivity the way some others do, because some of us just dont relate to that. Feeling "seen" by Lana's music is really what it comes down to, what the fandom often finds itself saying to outsiders or haters is "you just don't get it", cause really, it's that, some people will never get that feeling, that realness and that vulnerability, and there's no way to explain that connection. you just have to get it. And I really appreciate your videos, because you get it!!! You just get it!
Oh wow! What a beautiful connection you made there. Yeah, from the start I just could see how real and honest she was and unapologetic. It certainly hits harder for those of us who have felt like outsiders for sure. It’s so nice to connect with you and the rest of the community like this on all these songs. So special!! ❤️❤️❤️
I might have to do that when I’m done with all the albums! I have my schedule laid out already so I can’t add in anything right now but definitely open to it later! ❤️

Do you also intend to see Lana's unreleased songs? Lana has the best unreleased songs, some of which she talks about her time at boarding school, satirizing situations she saw...There are a lot of interesting things to dissect.
You know what?!! I might do a series after I’ve gotten through all the albums of some of the unreleased stuff! I’ll probably be wanting more and that would be a good time to do it! ❤️
@@PassionDumpofanAutist i advise to at least listen to her Lizzy Grant AKA Lana del Ray album once you've finished ! its was pretty much her first album under her other name and label i believe, it capsules well her essence, its more raw... most of her unreleased before 2012 are like that.

I hope you’re able to find Blue Velvet’s video because it was actually a commercial for her H&M campaign but I believe it was taken off TH-cam. She looks so beautiful there, though.
I think it’s important for you to also know beforehand that Lana wears a native headdress in one section of the Ride video which she has since apologized for and donated the proceeds from her poetry book to the Navajo nation. The Ride video is amazing though and gives real insight into her thinking but those moments unexpectedly could be somewhat jarring to see especially with what we know now vs 2012 about cultural appropriation.
You have no idea how much I appreciate knowing this beforehand. I think it would’ve thrown me for a loop for sure and from the sounds of it I don’t think it’s meant to be something “shocking” so that may have tainted the experience for me instead of focusing on what she is trying to do in the piece. Thank you, Thank you! 🙏 ❤️❤️❤️
Lana used to volunteer in the Navajo village since she was very young. That headdress was a gift they gave her and she was so proud of it she decided to wear it in the vid. She apologized to the society for misunderstanding her intentions, but not an apology to the Navajo at all, cause she've been doing a lot for them through the years! 😊
@@lorenavasques8657 I didn’t know that part. Thank you for letting me know. Lana has always had such a giving spirit even recently during her last tour she donated the money from ticket sales back to the cities she performed in.
@@lorenavasques8657 that is amazing context to know. People are so quick to judge without knowing context these days. A lot of “black and white” thinking without understanding life as having nuance. Why would anyone want you to experience Lana for the first time with all the foreknowledge none of us had when we listened to Lana for our first time? Your own interpretation is more important than the lore in the first go round. Maybe a suggestion is to listen to the song fully to feel the song as if you were to naturally listen to her music, and then break it down to intellectualize it after. Just because no one listens to music that way for their first time. Only bc imo it causes breaks in a continuous stream of emotions that leads into further lyrics that will clarify much of lyrics your contemplating/questioning a bit later in the song. Aww, thank you so much for the encouragement! I always feel bad that I get so emotional so many times. And yes, I totally agree with you about listening to the song the whole way through and that definitely is how I would do it at home. The only issue for me is I know my AuDHD brain and because it works so fast and has thousands of thoughts going on in a minute, it’s easier for me when I’m trying to talk about things that come up if I do it right at the moment. If I waited, the thought would be gone because I would be overwhelmed. So it’s certainly not a perfect formula, but I try my best to get out what I can. The real magic unfortunately happens off camera in my 2nd and 3rd reactions!! But sometimes I do let it play. I really just try to go with my gut on these things. This particular one had a ton of stops that was making me cringe when I was editing. lol, but we do what we have to do! ❤️
@@PassionDumpofanAutist Never feel like showing your raw emotions as a bad thing. I love it! The vast majority of us are this way too and I think it’s a major part of what attracts us to Lana! I really love how open and authentic you are in these reactions! I feel like evoking feelings like this is what music and especially Lanas music are intended for.
I think Lana's songs are very layered and so personal that some times it takes a while to dissect so please don't get caught up in getting everything. You honestly can't until you have the full picture and it's more fun to just revel in the emotions of it all

i love seeing how you are realizing more and more about Lana's psyche. i must say that she has improved a lot mentally. she no longer romanticizes nor accepts living this way. her most recent albums show this, it's beautiful to see.
i love your reactions so much!!! you touch on so many subjects and your insights are so well worded 🥰 keep it up and your channel will definitely grow a lot) love your dedication
Fun fact, back in 2019 Lana wrote a controversial post called "question for the culture" its about how she gets hate for creating music with immoral/taboo content while other artist get a past, she mentions a few name such as ariana, doja, cardi, nicki, beyonce and more. Thats one of the moment where she got cancelled and one of the hardest days for Lana stans... People also called the post as "prophecy" bacause the artist she named get cancelled one by one (in chronological order too as far as i know), the last on the list is Beyonce and just last week the prophecy catch up to Beyonce as bey was mentioned to be associated with P. Diddy parties and she's currently being cancelled, completing and ending the so called "prophecy". Lana also got married the same week the prophecy ended which is insane 😭.
Oh wow! I’ve heard of the Tay Voodoo (lol) but I’d didn’t know Lana had it too! That’s really interesting. It doesn’t surprise me though. She seems incredibly perceptive and intuitive. Karma doing her job. ❤️
I'm loving following you as you get to know Lana's discography. And the coolest thing is that you ask questions that Lana herself answers in her next albums. Lana is an artist who is not afraid to talk about her feelings in her songs, she is very visceral. And at the end of it all, you can understand who Lana was and who Lana became. leaving black and going to blue ❤️
you said it all with “this is healing me” genuinely love everything about your Lana reactions, and thank you for sharing with us, you are an amazing human being 🩷💕🩷
you have to see her perform yayo around the time she wrote it live at the living room in nyc 12/16/2008. idk if the quality of the video is high enough to include in your mv/performances video but even on your own time it really portrays that lounge singer feel you mention in these videos ❤️
I’ve kinda had to take that attitude, or try to anyway. There’s no way to make everyone happy so I just do my thing and people will either like it or not! Glad you’re someone who appreciates it!! ❤️

Oh, that’s right!!!! I remember that now! It’s hauntingly beautiful. I said it in the video and I think it still stands as officially (so far) my favourite Lana song. ❤️
Incoming my long ass comment: can't wait for the ride music video reaction. It's genuinely my favourite music video ive ever watched in my whole life. Ride is classic Lana, the epitome of everything she is. When u see the mv, the themes revolve around her longing for freedom, her reliance on others for happiness, and her use of escapism to get away from her issues, soo relatable. no Lana's dad is alive still and she's always been close with him, her mother on the other hand has NOT been a good mother to Lana. I think u def connect to Lana the way I do too, i also feel the same ab my childhood being taken away from me, i appreciate u getting into that topic :(. She sees American as being free, the american dream and the possibilities and opportunities. i rlly like how she spins the patriotism americans have as an admirable thing, when we usually see it being a bit toxic a lot of the time. btw she wrote cola and was referencing guys LIKE harvey weinstein (rich powerful influential) but stopped performing cola live after his allegations came out. gods and monsters is yes about LA/hollywood, and the toxicity and darkness that is apart of that whole industry. yayo is extremely underrated imo, it's so euphoric and i think it was meant to be, to show how addicting love and drugs are, comparing them both and symbolizing how good they both feel to her. burning desire was just for a car commercial but it's so hot i love it and her breathing in the background. She's talked ab how paradise relates to heaven in her mind, but i think u hit the nail on the head with the whole theme of escapism, these things she uses to escape feel like heaven to her, drugs, freedom, love. This album is the most relatable to me, along w ultraviolence.
Wow! Those are some amazing insights and I think we’re fairly on the same page with a lot of the themes of this record. Thanks so much for sharing all these thoughts. And I definitely cannot wait to react to Ride and Tropico. I really think it’s going to help me with the larger picture. ❤️
I totally get that. With my AuDHD brain with my thousands of swirling thoughts in a minute I find it difficult to remember my thoughts if I don’t say them when I’m thinking them. So tbh, sometimes the songs I’m most enjoying end up being the ones that get stopped the most out of passion. But I completely understand that’s not for everyone. I may not be the best reactor to watch for you! I would recommend Jim Games. He’s one of my favs and he listens to the entire song and then is amazing at summing everything up. That may be more your style. ❤️
@PassionDumpofanAutist yes! This is a reaction + commentary video like get real lol. Lana's music is on all streaming platforms they can listen to it there. Acting like they're being forced to watch at gunpoint. Love your work ❤️

And it’s a big reason why you’re my fav person to watch your reactions to. Aurora is another artist I am ABSOLUTELY sure you would fall in love with. Her music is deep, unique, and full of all the human emotions. Hope you’ll react to her too one day. Much love! ❤️❤️❤️
@@Goldun-nahI have “What Happened to the Heart” filmed and in the editing process as we speak. Already love her with this first listen. ❤
I can't wait for your reaction to the ride music video omg
Can’t wait to do it!!! ❤️
look up her unrleased too it explains a lot songs since she was young under the name may jailer l,lizzy grant , sparkle jumprope queen , the rich whörs , you can also chech her album "lana del ray aka lizzy grant" and " sirens " under the name may jailer , i suggest pawnshop blues , queen of the gas station and bording school to explane more of her backgrund and how she romanticized life as it was even the most simple things as a method of escapism
Yes! I think once I’m done all the main albums I’ll go back and do some of the unreleased and older stuff! I know I’ll be itching for more Lana!! ❤️
Can’t wait for the music videos of this EP. Ride, Tropico - masterpiece
Should be up on Saturday!! ❤️
@Dylan Cook u became amod
Ride is one of my favorite songs of Lana, and it always makes me tear a little bit haha
It’s just SO freakin good!! I don’t doubt it. ❤️
I really love how open and authentic you are in these reactions! I feel like evoking feelings like this is what music and especially Lanas music are intended for.
That means so much! I truly believe that about music and Lana has truly become such a special person to me already. ❤️❤️❤️
Your video came out the day after Lana's wedding LOL
Wishing her the happiest of marriages!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love how you relate and connect to the music. Like you get ittttt
I certainly try!! So glad you’re enjoying things! ❤️
I think Lana's songs are very layered and so personal that some times it takes a while to dissect so please don't get caught up in getting everything. You honestly can't until you have the full picture and it's more fun to just revel in the emotions of it all
Good reactions and videos ❤ Could you reaction Katy Perry performance and album 143 ?
Thanks! So glad you’re enjoying. I think Katy Perry is an amazing performer. Unfortunately her music has never really spoken to me personally. I’m sorry! 😢 So glad you’re enjoying her music tho. I thought she killed the VMA performance! ❤️
@@PassionDumpofanAutistUr welcome its ok but i enjoy your videos so much . I saw many reactions channel got more views from Katy Perry albums . Its ok i still support your chanel cuz i prefer Lana too❤
love ur channel so much omg
Made my day Queen!! ❤️
Im a little worried for Ultraviolence, just keep in mind that it’s a really dark place to be in. For example, even tho I have been listening UV for years since it first came out, if I’m not careful enough, it can take me to a really dark place. Not that I dont enjoy it because I love love that album, but damn it’s heavy.
Thank you for warning me. I will certainly make sure I’m in a decent place beforehand and have time to do some self-care afterwards. Appreciate it! ❤️
@@PassionDumpofanAutist yeah it’s just that you’re so quick to catch the meaning behind the lines that i knoww you’ll find and see through it, so I’m excited to see your reaction and can’t wait to hear your perspective on it
@@Blostblue I’m actually quite excited to react to it! ❤️
I LOVE YOU! never change ❤
You are so sweet!!! ❤️❤️❤️
She talks a lot about the themes you mentioned during American in Ocean Blvd., specially in her songs A&W and Fingertips.
Oh yay! So excited to finally hear that. Got a long journey ahead before we get there tho! ❤️
i love how you react and connect to the music BUT YOU PAUSE IT A LOT LOT
@@lucasdutti I do what feels right to me. If I have a thought that I want to express I say it right away. I know my AuDHD brain will get overwhelmed with a million racing thoughts and I will not be able to express what I want to express if I wait until the end. I completely understand that this is not for everyone and I may actually just not be the right reactor for you, tbh. Glad you enjoyed parts of it. ❤️
Hey. New sub here. I like the way you dissect some of her songs. Enjoy the journey through the albums! Her music is absolutely spectacular and unique and she is a true artist, not just a singer.
Her collaboration with Jon Batiste I think is super underrated and I just found it by happenstance a few days ago. It is called Life Lesson.
Yay! Welcome on in! I’m already enjoying the journey SO much. It’ll be so fun to go through this with you all! ❤️
Love your reactions! Your comments about Burning desire makes me excited for you to listen to A&W - though you still have a long and amazing Lana journey ahead of you until then. Never change ❤
Yay! So glad you’re enjoying this journey so far. And yes! So much journey ahead before we get there but you’re not the first person to say this to me so I’m extra excited about it! ❤️
i’m so sad i missed the premiere!!! i absolutely LOVE yayo. my vision is a little different from yours though LOL i imagine her as a jazz singer in like a dim lit jazz bar and she’s singing on stage, she’s got such an old soulful voice ❤
Yes! Definitely missed you at the premiere, but happy you were able to catch up! And I can totally see your vision as well. Such an amazing song! ❤️
i love seeing how you are realizing more and more about Lana's psyche. i must say that she has improved a lot mentally. she no longer romanticizes nor accepts living this way. her most recent albums show this, it's beautiful to see.
Oh that’s so good to hear. I relate to her journey so far and I’ve also grown over the years so I’m excited to witness her journey. ❤️
When we get to ocean Blvd her saddest album imo. Doesn’t have lyrics on Spotify so you’ll have to pull it up online.
Oh, good to know! Hopefully Genius has it! So excited for that one. ❤️
i love your reactions so much!!! you touch on so many subjects and your insights are so well worded 🥰 keep it up and your channel will definitely grow a lot) love your dedication
That is so sweet! Thank you so much for that. Made my night reading this! ❤️
Oh, that sounds amazing!! I’m so excited to have those questions answered! ❤️❤️❤️
you said it all with “this is healing me”
genuinely love everything about your Lana reactions, and thank you for sharing with us, you are an amazing human being 🩷💕🩷
You’ve made my day with this comment! Truly! So glad to connect with you in these reactions. ❤️❤️❤️
I do think Lana Del Rey explains everything ( trauma) in her last album Did you know there’s a tunnel under ocean boulevard
Ah! I’m so excited for that. I’ve got a long journey before we get there tho, but sounds like it will be worth it when I finally get there. ❤️
you have to see her perform yayo around the time she wrote it live at the living room in nyc 12/16/2008. idk if the quality of the video is high enough to include in your mv/performances video but even on your own time it really portrays that lounge singer feel you mention in these videos ❤️
Oh, I’ll have to look for that. It sounds like a great watch! ❤️
All I have to say is never feel sorry for blabbering Some people may not be interested in it, but they can just skip. I love listening to you talk >0
I’ve kinda had to take that attitude, or try to anyway. There’s no way to make everyone happy so I just do my thing and people will either like it or not! Glad you’re someone who appreciates it!! ❤️
i cant wait for you to listen to honeymoon, chemtrails and ocean blvd, my favs
i really like your videooos and analysis heeh dooont stop❤
Never!!! I’m committed to this Lana Quest! So excited to go through all these. ❤️
i was the one who told you about bel air LOL it’s my all time favorite lana song idk what it is about it but it’s sooooo magical and lovely it has such a warm feeling to it
Oh, that’s right!!!! I remember that now! It’s hauntingly beautiful. I said it in the video and I think it still stands as officially (so far) my favourite Lana song. ❤️
the mvs are a must ride music vid is a short film with a monilogue and sm poetry explaning muc
Oh that sounds cool! So excited for that!! ❤️
Lana got married, guysss! She deserves it so much🩵
I really hope she’s happy! She deserves it so much. ❤️
Love your reactions! You need to do some Adele aswell, she also has insane writing!
Oh, that would be good! She has a stunning voice! ❤️
I love your react! Don’t stop never, please 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I’ll stop when I’m dead!!! lol, I’m getting through these Lana albums if it kills me! ❤️❤️❤️
⬆️
Crystal method is a band lol that’s why she says put your crystal method on
Just found that out! But have a suspicion it may be a double meaning. 😜
you should react to middle 8 the authenticity of lana del rey and later on sadprt lana del rey’s connection to rap
Oooo! You’ll have to bring that up when I’m done with the albums and I start doing more deep cuts and extra stuff!
@@PassionDumpofanAutist no problem! ill be there for ur next reaction vid too!
girl you will adore lana you can get her i can tell
Already adore her, but man I can’t even imagine feelings after I’ve gone through them all! ❤️
luv ur channel queen
❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤
is it just me or did you miss lucky ones?
That one’s on my Born To Die Reaction at the end. ❤️
@@PassionDumpofanAutist curse my brain I’ll go back and watch i’m so sorry🩷 love your lana videos btw 🩷🩷🩷
It's hard for me when you stop the song every second..😢
Don't watch then
I totally get that. ❤️
Totally! I’m not for everyone! lol ❤️
@PassionDumpofanAutist yes! This is a reaction + commentary video like get real lol. Lana's music is on all streaming platforms they can listen to it there. Acting like they're being forced to watch at gunpoint. Love your work ❤️
