She definitely has a way of bringing out emotions! And yeah, that’s definitely what I got from my first listen of video games, but there definitely seemed to be some other emotions below the surface (as all relationships do). Loving this journey so far! ❤️

as someone said in the live section comments- you have to watch her sing heart shaped box cover, it's out of this world. I love your thoughts on those videos I think all of us Lana fans feel like introducing a friend to an artist you loved for so long and she (you) GETS IT ❤
Yes! Definitely going to watch heart-shaped box. I know I’ll love it. And that is so amazing to hear, and I totally get it. I feel like that when I introduce people to Taylor songs that aren’t “shake it off” if that’s all they know. It’s so fun to watch people fall in love with artists you’ve loved for a while.
i love her live performances then and now, shes really shy, but you can see she likes to play a lot with her voice and tones and even change the lyrics live, shes an incredible soul, im really glad i found your channel because i feel the same way of excitement towards her and her craft, people like to say she doesnt do weird things with her voice now, but she was really scrutinized for performing like that, so she got a lot more shy, but she actually does in small settings and when she let go loose, youre gonna see how much she has grown and mature over the years, its an amazing journey that im glad i’ll be part of, keep up with this!
That is so amazing to hear! I loved her voice, but I’m excited to hear the growth and progression. She’s such a fascinating human. I’m loving being on this journey and happy to connect with people such as yourself that have passion for her music! ❤️
It was an amazing video Val, thanks so much for that! As a person with ADHD and bipolarity I love to get "obsessed" with something, so I love people that search for MVs, lives performances, etc, to get all about it. So thanks for that! Maybe you'd like to know that all her songs are about relationships but not exactly romantic relations. Alcohol, drugs, friends, fame, family...She said her first love was alcohol, and you can see that on Diet Montain Dew "you're not good for me, but i want you". Btw, you missed Carmen MV and Dark Paradise live at Birmingham palace amazing) ❤️

Yes! A theme I didn’t quite get into in my essay but I certainly had this thought when I was exploring the theme of freedom and men! A really interesting theme.
Lana is the only singer for me that every time she sings she feels every lyric and maybe that’s why she can’t always hit the notes perfect. But for me she is more than perfect. She feels her music
"It's a funeral march" [giggles] yes, i agree. Lana knows something big is over and she's singing about the end of it. There's something she knows that we just don't and we trust her in serenading us into the death of it.
@@PassionDumpofanAutist I wonder if the mismatch between the lyrics being happy and the singing tone being sad is because the carefree times are over and she's mourning them. It's not just about her romantic relationship with a man, but the nation. "America" was born to die.
