Hank, I would love to see you actually take on of these old Cabovers that have been tossed aside and have you turn it into a project of reclamation and rebirth. It would be a fantastic series to keep up on and I'd watch every last video [probably a couple times over].

Tech tip on a Cummins like this. The main fuel pump/injection pump has a 9/16 (wrench size fits it)plug on top. Remove it and fill pump up and remove fuel filter and fill it up a big cam will crank almost instantly. These engines were bad to bleed fuel back from sitting

I miss seeing cab overs on the road. I always thought they were neat! International is one of my favorite brands of trucks and tractors so I'm really looking forward to this one! (I'm a machinery nerd, what can I say?) Wes's channel is definitely cool, I've seen some of his videos! 👍

Drove one of these back in the early 90s. Sucked coming from a brand new 91 peterbuilt doing long distance runs to driving one of these to NYC doing peddles. Good memories though.

my first solo truck driveing was in one of those 84 int that was in 87 had a extra whid bunk and a hel* of a wheel base had a 315 big cam cummins witha 9 sped fuller trany

IH emblems on it so it cant be past 1985-86 should be a fun one for sure and it has the manuals so you have something to give you insight and some tips for getting what you need to make it run

@@HamiltonvilleFarm Sure does. That ran that cab style for a while as best as I can remember. It was the orange that gave it away and THEN I started eyeballing the cab. I heard how many Schneider trucks were in New York City at any given time and it was un-REAL! Bunches, anyway. Remain calm, Hank! GBWYall!

Hamiltonville Farm yeah he can’t ever finish them because of one reason. Wiring I see where he is coming from but it seems like he has the money I don’t know why he won’t just pay someone to do the wiring but that’s his problem. I really like your channel. I’m was surprised to hear about your channel from Wes you guys seem like polar opposites lol

And I know I am asking a little much and I know your probably going to hate me after this next statement, but i was wondering if you could try and check out my channel I just started to get going on videos. It’s called “what hobo Groh knows” it’s more old junk that I own. And thanks for getting around to my comment I know it takes a lot of work thanks. 👍
I looked at your channel. I would suggest searching for TH-cam guys like Daniel Batal, Brian G Johnson and Nick Nimmin to help understand some of the fundamentals of creating a channel. You'll get there. Just get the "blocking and tackling" down. That will help.
The first truck I bought was a 1983 international 9670 like that one

HAY HANK HOWBOUCHA!!! Been out and about I see. Must be gettin hot ol Brandell shaved his face. Well, hows things? good, I hope. Got some inside doors gettin installed in the cabin and the rest of the insulation. then I need to get a stove for heat. Funny talkin about heat when it's 110 here, you got the humidity there. I remember commin cross country in 78, we stopped to visit relatives in Panama City during the effects of a hurricane. One night the fog was so thick, water was rollin of the house as if it was rainin. Where my wife comes from its hot like here only 90 + humidity. I dont know bout you but I like it cool. it'll get 90 at times at the cabin but right back down to 50's an 60's at night. Well throw a rock at me when its time to FIRE- THAT- MOTHA- UP!!! You taker easy, stay cool an keep pushin on brother- PEACE

Love the films. Question. I don’t know what the difference is between a “big” cam and “small” cam is.? I’m in the UK and all trucks are cabovers really, we don’t have the space to get bonnet tractor units round the corners. Keep up the good work look forward to the start.
