A couple months later I went to El Paso TX to see Ozzy, Alice in Chains and Sepultura. 1992 seemed to be the year for lead singers getting injuries on tour. When Alice in Chains hit the stage, Layne Staley was pushed out in a wheelchair with a broken leg. They put on a badass show too. 1992 was a great year for metal shows.

We were lucky on the 1992 tour: our show in the Buffalo NY area went off pretty much without a hangup. A food fight broke out and lasted at least a half hour but both bands ripped. Still have my stub from that show: $29.50 with all service charges & taxes incl for decent seats. When I saw them in 2017 in NJ, I paid $100 for nosebleeders. Still a great show tho, their stage setup was gigantic.
