Great video. A bit of trivia for you. I’m fairly certain that every normal UP manifest train that goes east on the Mojave sub through Tehachapi originates from Roseville, CA. And every UP manifest headed west is destined for Roseville, CA. They may work Mojave, Bakersfield, Fresno & Stockton along the way, but their final destination is Roseville. If anyone has other info, I’d love to know it.
Ex SP GE AC4400CW Locomotive Mark and the SP had lots of AC GE Locomotives And My Dad Steve Schmollinger has Photos of the SP AC's on Donner Pass Heritage Locomotive is a Locomotive that is Painted in a Fallen Flag Paint Scheme like the SP Heritage Locomotive or the DRGW Heritage Locomotive for Union Pacific Awesome Video of the Union Pacific and BNSF on Tehachapi Mark ❤❤❤❤❤ Rest in Peace Southern Pacific
10:18 Your comment made me look up the price of VP Racing Fuel; 55-gallon drum for $620, or $11.27 gallon…which probably doesn’t seem like much for gas in California.⛽️ (‘Tis to me!!😮)
Hi Mark. I have a rail question for control points. Have you heard the acronym CTB in conjunction with (or referring to) an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS)? I've come across it in my work and I am unable to find anything on the acronym
Another great video from the Great Speculator, keep up the good work and thanks.
SP 6378 is a GE C44AC, one of the five SP units that have yet to be painted. UP 1996 is EMD SD70ACe painted in SP livery.
Hey. Mark thanks for sharing this with us. Awesome video. ❤️👍

That was one that was not painted from the old southern Pacific railroad before they sold out after bankruptcy
the old SP GE Loco livery is known as a "patch"

At this time of the year there, should the grass be greening up in winter...? I've forgotten when the grass usually greens up there.
It usually has, but we've had very little rain so far this year
Mark you talk too much
