Yeah I agree that the easiest route to get an authentic bey is getting the newboy version I did get the original Japanese version used on eBay and compared the original to the midfake that my friend has For storm pegasis The midfake has a greenish tint on the clear wheel The metal wheel has a slightly different mold The face, track, and bottom parts are a slightly lighter colored plastic And the rubber on the rf has no dent in the center and is very unstable Still both are really good depending on what you’d want to buy it for
I heard someone that said that those called "midfakes"are actually genuine (at least those with copyrighted logos on stores like amazon) and the difference with old beys are dues to a change in the metal used (Japanese legislation changed since so they had to change the alloy) and molds aging out (they probably also optimized the process so it costs less, resulting in more cosmetic issues). As for things like text in languages other than Japanese, that would just be due to localization (box with arabic text meant for middle eastern stores)
I have found some newboy beyblade in some stores in Kuwait I have seen some beyblades like flame libra and storm capricorn Rock leon dark gasher and dark bull too and they were cheap like 5$ for each
Metal fusion was peak beyblade, new beyblades are just plastic dog shit, I hope before I’m 30 we can get a resurgence of the metal fight series with real metal.

Can't we just consider the midfakes actual beys for the simple fact soon all those beys are gonna be gone and sometimes even the midfakes are better then the og takara tomy
It depends on what you use midfakes for. If its just for fun battle then its good, if its for tournaments then its bad because of the weight difference. midfakes beyblade will be easier to knockout compared to their original counter part since they're lighter.

Hasbro is the reason I thought Pegasus beys were trash as a kid because they couldn't win anything. It was all thanks to them making crappy stadiums and those really weren't in Attack Type beys favor.
