Midfakes are actually really good and they are legal in WBO tournaments since it’s an affordable option to get metal fight beys. But that Galaxy Pegasus looks terrible, there’s better midfakes that look more accurate on other websites.
exactly
the only people that are against as a mid-fake in concept are resellers that drive the price of the OGs up in insane markups, but its such a silly thing to be against because noone buying mid-fakes wants to pretend like they're the original, they are simply a gateway to allow them AFFORDABLE access to the hobby
my only wish is that the companies that sell the mid-fakes would just use different boxes and not care to copy the OG one, anyone informed enough to want/be able to buy a midfake already knows what they are
Wait, they're TOURNAMENT-LEGAL?! If they're that desperate for the things they should re-release the stuff.
5:02 it literally says reproduction metal series
they tell you, plainly, that they are not original TT products
I'd love to see reproductions of plastic gen beyblades in the future as well.
They are literally Reproduction Beyblades. Most of the people call them as midFAKES for convenience. Mall of toys clearly categorised them as repro.
This would probably only fool someone who doesn't know what they are looking for which still sucks.
Remember if people are buying authentic beys they will have to charge extra money meaning a bit expensive, Whereas reproduction have cheaper price as usual.
Mid fakes are not that bad from what I’ve seen
That already means you don’t know that much about it. It depends on each person if a midfake could be okay for you. For me there are many reasons why I don’t buy midfakes and why I don’t like that they even exist. And I’m not even a reseller or something like that.
As someone who grew up with MFB, I’m very happy with what I got. I’d rather get a slightly worse quality version for a fraction of the price. Beys like Samurai and Big Bang Pegasus have great stickers surprisingly. Lightning L-Drago’s stickers fall off immediately but oh well. Seemed like the later in the MFB series they got the better the stickers got. Nice video!
Facts about Lightning L Drago. The same is happening with mine and thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
In Brazil some retailers here were selling "Official Metal Fight Beyblade made by Takara Tomy", I bought one Bigbang Pegasus and L Drago Destroy, and I discovered they are Midfake as well.
When I ask them about it, they said:
"We were buying directly for Takara Tomy"
Which is the most brain dead lie I ever seen, Takara Tomy stopped making Metal Fight Beys in 2012, and they still have so many of them stored in 2024? Give me a break.
And the worst at all, many people here don't know this, they just buy the produtcs and belive what these retailers says.
They probably bought lots of Midfake Beyblade for 20 bucks, here they sell at 200 Reais (it translates to 50 dolars or so).
Dang dude. Those are some expensive midfakes. I know how you feel in a way. I remember one time I was trying to get a new iPhone 6 back when the 7 was new. I went to a Verizon store and the employee wanted to sell a 7 so bad he told me that the 6 doesn't exist. So I just went to an apple store and they had plenty in stock.
genuine takara beys also have A codes. the difference is on how and where they put those codes. the BB codes are usually for Hasbro beys.
I really wish that Takara Tomy would address midfakes in ANY way. Because multiple suppliers claim that they purchased them from Tomy or a Tomy partner, one seller even showed the order form from their Chinese supplier a while back (authentic MFB beys were also produced in China), and multiple people have contacted Takara Tomy and their American counterpart, TOMY, regarding clarification of the authenticity of these beys (whether they are licensed to use the logo or not). However, Takara Tomy has yet to reply to ANYONE about the matter which makes me think it's a more complicated situation than just "Fake or Real." I've even contacted their English and Japanese support lines about it with no reply at all.
Sometimes they use official discarded molds or whatnot, so it def straddles a boundary
One thing great about these reproduction midfakes is the flat rip cord launchers are a step above the old rip cord launchers
Beys and bricks does this to however they say they are midfake
People are so foolish making videos and comparing authentic and midfake, I have my Authentic diablo nemesis it broke a little piece by Bakushin beelzeb so i had to buy a midfake diablo, Dont think tht rapidity or midfakes have breakage Authentic one will also be the same as well as it Happened to me.
you need to use a metal lead test kit, not a cotton swab one. Those are for lead paint, not metal.
Thanks for the heads up. The cotton swab is the test I kept seeing other beytubers use and it looked like they were getting some results. I think I'll go for a hardness test next.
I am still infuriated by Hasbro's sorry excuse for releases of the 4D beys. WTF were they thinking with Variares.
Diablo Nemesis aside--I'm not sure I want to buy it if it doesn't get the free-spinning gimmick--do the other 4D system "reproductions" on MallofToys look good? Because I still kinda want to fill out my Legendary Bladers collection
Future reference when lead testing wear disposable gloves
Yes lead has a hard time breaking through skin, but you cant wash it off with soap and water
So if you happen to touch your eye well now a bit of lead got into your system
And always put a paper towel on any surface you're gonna put the beys on while testing
But glad to see that the midfakes you got were safe from lead, i hope my midfakes from aliexpress are safe too
Oh question does your big bang pegasus midfake have the same tip the official one does
Think its called final drive
Thanks for the advice. I decided to do a scratch test since the kit I got was made for testing lead paint. The beys still passed. My pegasus does have final drive but it doesn't work as well as the original. It also came apart after a day since midfakes use normal screws. Its easy to put back together but I lost the inner tip so its really not final drive anymore😥
i just got back into beyblade bc of beyblade x and the amount of channels i've seen promote mall of toys.. is scaring me. rip the kids 😢
wait just saw the lead test thats actually not horrible then, i might get some now LOL
@@mawnns To be fair, mall of toys is selling real beyblades when it comes to X and Burst. Thats why other channels are promoting them. If you do get some of the midfakes hope you have fun.
@@MarcusHaaksmadefinitely will bc metal fight made me love beyblade way too much as a kid LOLL $12 to experience unboxing earth eagle & ldrago again is a steal to me 😂
@@MarcusHaaksma I buy all legit burst, x and plastic gen but i do buy the occasional midfake for the metal series, but i've botton over 30 real ones. But i still get looked down on a lot of beyblade discords for having two midfakes, some are pretty good. Does buying midfakes make you bad :(
@@stephenb9510 No, buying mid fakes doesn't make you bad. I personally always buy real ones because I know they're going to last longer and I want to support TT so beyblade as a whole can keep going but I also know that some people wont be able to get real ones depending on there situation. Also metal fight was a big part of beyblade and now unless you pay a crazy price for them you're not going to get a real one. So of course people are going to get mid fakes instead. If you can get real beys, then get real beys but for some reason if mid fakes are your only option than be careful. Its not worth buying if it ends your life and if your midfakes are safe then as long as you're having fun that's all that matters.
Trying to find an metal fusion bey is just so hard i just to find it for hours but the one store which i think is not mid fakes because they also sell the light boosters and the metal Beyblade itself (only have one left)
I just want to make something clear. Midfakes do not have lead in them, and if it does it is a very small amount that isnt harmfull. midfakes are a great alternative if someone doesnt want to spend like 30 dollars per beyblade and their more or less the same with their original TT counterparts
Than which websites are trust worthy
this video makes it seem like midfakes fall into the same camp as pure fakes. no they do not. the quality is much closer to the originals and they don’t contain lead or hazardous materials
Can anyone please tell where to buy midfakes with less shipping charges
Your knowledge is limited
Amazing 😊

Hay
Calling metal fight tips “driver“ is honestly insane 😂😂 get you’re names straight you burst kiddo
Drives or spintrack and performance tip i think are the names
Midfakes literally keep the older series alive. They’re not an issue especially if Takara or Hasbro ain’t producing them no more.
They are only an issue when you order an original only find out its a midfake, but otherwise yeah i agree especially with the low prices
its also nice for just getting 4D beys it feel like it levels the playing field with most masters and fusion beys that arent as heavy
