Thank y'all for this excellent information on the 890 series RV GPS. I currently use the RV770 but I have been wanting to upgrade to something that has the ability to link to a Bluetooth speaker. The 890 sounds like it will help me there. The other function that I use on every trip is the "Up Ahead" window displayed in the right side of the map display. You briefly showed the "Up Ahead" screen but my question is this also editable so to display my choices of the "Up Ahead" locations? Thanks for your feedback.
I found you channel while looking of information on the Camper 1090 which I have just purchased (sorry I did not purchase from you but I am in the UK) as an upgrade from my 770 which I have had for 3 years. My question do you know a easy way to get my favourite POI from the 770 on to the 1090 with out doing it manually.
Hey Roger, thanks for reaching out! I'm happy to help. Garmin has an article just for this question. It is absolutely possible! Here's the article: support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=GVuNLr5hDf3NezcXCkPFL8
@@Technorv thank you for your information which I have followed up and now transferred all the data from the 770. Sorry to ask again do you know if it is possible to load Google Maps as a App.

Thanks for the video but I do have a question. I see you can sink your phone with the unit for traffic updates but can you make and receive phone calls as a hand free unit?
I am trying to locate a campground we are going to next Saturday. I have followed along with you and have tried EVERYTHING. I’ve tried the address both ways..I tried looking it up on the campground options. I keep getting “can’t be found “. Please help. Thank you
we have a keystone cougar 24rds and want to get backup camera. we have prewired furrion. I really don't want to have another device in the cab of the truck. Can I just get the camera and have it work with the Garmin rv890?
Hi Edie! The previous models that were compatible with the Garmin 890 is the BC 35 but that product has been discontinued by Garmin. We no longer carry these in stock but you might be able to find one on the internet somewhere.
Good info. Thanks for all of these videos. Love the new 1090 Garmin. Took it on the first trip through Tennessee into North Carolina. Working great!

Do you need to be connected to your cell phone for these features such as traffic?

Yes, you can send and receive calls and texts from the GPS as well.

You can remember your address where you grew up that was obviously not a long time ago.😁
I wish! It was over 35 years ago, but for some reason, it stuck. :)
