Fantastic session thanks Andrew. You're the go to guy. Question: As I have franchisees, each with their own Ad Manager accounts, and we host their landing and thank-you pages on our site, they will each have to go through this process - correct? Any comments?

If you're hosting the landing pages on your site, and they all live on the same domain that might be a bit of a headache for you though. Hi Andrew, can I assume that if the domain (or in our case sub domain) that we have already verified in our Business does NOT appear in the list of domains we want to set up events for, then the problem may be: our Ad Manager does not live in our Business Manager, From 4:10 to 4:50 you talk about what to do if the event does not appear, but you're not clear about how to do what you say. You say "The only events that will be listed are the vents on the domain that have already fired. You only get to assign 8 events in your AEM priority list. But if you turn on the value option it uses 4 of the 8 event ‘slots’ just for the Purchase event
How do you manage the "owned by another business" domains, ie. client domains? Are you no longer able to identify events for those? Does the client have to make them?
The domain needs to be verified inside the client's Business Manager. Easiest way is to get them to add you to their BM account as a partner if you need to do it for them.

Hi if i want to get the Purshase event unlocked how should i do it? should i purshase directly to my website? What do i have to do? please i really need help.
You need to trigger the purchase event on the domain. So either just visit your post purchase thank you page or complete a purchase yourself to trigger it. Then wait 30 mins and it will be tbere
@@AndrewHubbard1 I have done this with the "Lead" event several times over the last few days, visiting a thankyou page following registration to a webinar but the "Lead" is still not appearing in the dropdown in the conversion event when i try and set this as one of the 8 events on a verified domain
Hi! My client has a couple of courses she sells so I'm understanding that I would leave the purchase value at 4 like you said HOWEVER she definitely has not received 100 purchases in the last 7 days. So is there any point of doing the value thing then?
Hey Daniela - It depends on whether or not you'll want to use value optimisation for your ads either now or in the future. Personally I do like to use value optimisation so I always turn it on.
She may not get 100 per week now, but hopefully she will in the future!
@@AndrewHubbard1 Thanks for your response! Even without 100 weekly purchases, do you recommend I turn it on anyway?
Hi Andrew, thanks for this other nice tutorial! My site is still under development and is not yet fully released. I created FB custom events with GTM and they all trigger well. However few weeks later, when I wanted to work on choosing my Aggregated events (web events configuration), I can't see my custom events listed there. I think you explained this between 4:15 - 4:45 in your video. Should I re-activate the custom events by going to my site and wait 5-10 min to see them appearing in the list? Also, in the aggregated event measurement setup, how many "assigned event" will be counted for a custom event?
I triggered all the events on my domain. but still, I don't have the purchase event listed in the drop-down. Any idea? Thanks
did you create a purchase event before that? You have to create that event
No, the purchase event do not appear in Drop down menu ...how can I fix it bro?
Hey, check out my reply to Jorge below
As I also mentioned in the video, you need to trigger the event on your domain before it will appear in the drop down as well
The plant looks out of place
😂
Hi Andrew. Quick question. Can you add a custom conversion event that I have made as one of the 8 event slots?
You can!
@@AndrewHubbard1 Thank you for the reply. Why am I unable to select it from the Web Event Configurations page. Any hints?
Instead of choosing your pixel, choose 'Custom Conversion' from the drop down.
