    The decal peeling off makes it 20% faster.

    Great video Steve. Love the sound of the Vulcan. I appreciate you creating content like this: you don’t realize just how fast or slow they fly until you do a real test. Thanks 🙏

    Nice review, I recently bought the Banshee, very nice, put the upgraded landing gear on. To be fair you should have take the landing gear off, and hand launch it.
    Did like the glide of the Fulcan

      I upgraded my banshee to 6s (bigger motor with afterburner). This thing flies out of my hands!

    Fun little comparison Steve, faster than it looks for sure... Would have been interesting to see how much speed the Vulcan would have lost if you kept the wheels down... bet you the results would have been a lot closer to the Banshee's ! :-)

  • @manchildrc

    You can slip the landing which will allow you to decrease altitude quicker and bleed off some speed as well. Give aileron and rudder opposite input so pretty simple but as with any rc airplane, try it 3 mistakes high before trying on a landing. Great flying!

    Now you got to get the 6s Vulcan and get the 2500kv in runner and 60 amp esc for the banshee and see how these two planes do on 6s.
    Or see if anyone else has them.

    I bet the Banshee would be a lot faster without the camera and landing gear. The Banshee is smaller so the added dg of the camera is higher percentage of the total drag.

    Captain how about a video or a series on setting up the tx16s mkii to fly UMX stunt planes and 3d helicopters. You would get a ton of views because there just aren't any that use the current firmware, deal with Spektrum or other receivers and how to set up more complex functions and cool sounds. And if you can explain it all without using terms only an engineer would understand, you'll knock it out of the park.

    I have 2 Eachine F-18 50MM and it’s surprisingly faster than my 64mm Stinger. I fly it on 4s instead of the recommended 3s

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ay my flying spot, many of us think our planes are fast, but then again we all tend to dive them at full throttle towards us and of course the plane goes faster then at level speed. Some planes dive extremely well. Now that I'm doing these tests at a level altitude at full throttle I'm becoming surprised by the results. Some planes I thought were fast are just kinda fast. More tests to come.

    • @manicfour
      @manicfour ปีที่แล้ว

      Fly mine on 4s too. Its fast for sure. Appears faster then my 64 and 70mm birds.

    Hi Steve, thanks for the videos, I'm enjoying them a lot. I'm a complete beginner and like you, need to wear glasses. I'd like to try FPV flying with my DJI mini 3 pro (I understand this is now possible). Do you know if you can wear glasses in the supported DJI goggles? Anyway, keep the videos coming. Always enjoyable.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No glasses in the DJI Goggles 2 and new models because the eye pieces go right up to your eyes. Most times glasses are not required as you can focus each lens, but if you have a stigmatism then you'll need prescription lens like the HONS VR ones I reviewed here. th-cam.com/video/hoAIsCCU1TQ/w-d-xo.html

    Hello sir, I have just watched this nice video you made.
    Iam staring out on fpv drones and wanted your opinion about what your favorite fpv drone controller/remote is for freestyle?
    And what is the best controller/remote for the iflight Nazgul f5 v2 6s with the x frame for a little freestyle.
    I would be more than happy for a reply.
    And as always you made a great video. 👍👍👍👍

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are new to FPV, then DO NOT GET what I like for me as you won't be able to fly it without hurting yourself. Start off with a BETAFPV CETUS X and when you can fly that without crashing then look at larger FPV drones and learn how to program a radio, setup a model in a radio, learn about receivers, learn about BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR, leave about batteries and how to use an RC Hobby Battery charger. Learn about Cross Fire and ELRS and learn about Props. In the FPV hobby there is plenty to learn and everyone you see on TH-cam that flies FPV drones all began with no knowledge of anything and it took years for them to learn what they needed to know.

      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For a drone over 250gr, you have restrictions. How is it with this type of planes. You must be in a club or make a flight license. Where can you fligh this planes?

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In Canada we do not have DRONE rules.... In most countries there is no such thing as DRONE rules. It is just the MEDIA and SOCIAL media that makes you think that. The rules are avaiation rules for unmanned objects flying in the airspace. So no matter what is in the air, if it is 250 grams or more, then it probably falls under airspace regulations. I am a DRONE pilot which means I have had to follow the rules since the rules were put in place long ago, so yes I am certified by my government to fly in unrestricted airspace by following the rules laid out.

    Not trying to be a smart but. Most EDF jets land and take off much better when you use flaps.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use flaps in regards to the length of my runway. If it is short, then flaps are used for takeoff and landing.
