Thank you for sharing this present day Steve. The Venom (I believe) was the newer version of one of my favorite aircraft of all time (the Vampire). Definitely got a big smile from me. You just know I'll be looking to add that plane to my collection now. 😁

Oh i miss mine. Had it on 7s with an fms 1850kv edf. Its actually the lightest 90mm edf jet on the market at 2.2kg. What attitude are you at? I got 113mph at sea level. Totally destroyed it after a slow tip stall that i couldn't recover from. I also kept the front doors on the gear but cut a slot for the wheel to come through and shoved a carbon spar right through the body for the wings to go be secured to. Theres loads of flex in that 1.5m wingspan

Thats actually a good speed for a large draggy foamy like that. I've found 95% of foam EDFs are in the 90-110mph range. Some a little slower, some a bit faster.
The real plane is 9.7 meters long, and this model is 1.1 meters long. 180 km/hr x 9.7/1.1 = 1587 km/hr, which is way faster than the real plane, maximum speed of 1030 km/hr
When I was still at school, this was the Swiss Air Force's standard fighter jet. Supersonic was not common at that time. The sound is real. I have the same plane in the MS-FlightSimulator.

If so testing purposes :) My kids save up and bought of the smaller helicopters you suggested. Grabbed from your link. They both wanted me to tell you as they were extremely excited. Cheers bud
The only speed regulation is internal to yourself. Mine is MORE POWER ! Visually it's hard to tell the difference between 90 and 120 mph. That's why we tend to stall out on landing.
A friend of mine at our local airport actually owns a real one or these. He flew it here from Italy. It has a fuel burn of 50l/m I can send some pictures if you’re curious to see the real thing :)
I have the Hobby King 70mm vampire...............it is not fast.......................at all, it is probably the slowest plane I own..........except maybe the Dancing Wings Eagle .
Have you ever wondered who was the first person that decided it'd be really cool to not look at the camera when you talk. Kind of light turning your back on somebody when talking to them in person. I really don't understand why anyone would think this is a good idea. I don't watch videos where people don't have enough respect to look me in the eye and talk to me.
