When I lived in LA, I worked in Long Beach, and commuted from Koreatown daily. After wk. I'd take the 110 fwy home and I loved seeing Downtown all lit up like in vid, like a beacon saying "almost home". Thx for memories, I miss and love LA.
beautiful, thanks for thawing my memories of night cruising in my hometown... it's beyond words speaking of words i tried searching for the song by lyrics and couldn't find it - help us viewers out! again, thanks so much
What a ride! Fantastic vid. You really bring the freeway alive with your editing skills. I have to say though my favorite view of the skyline comes when you're transitition from the I-5 N onto the 10 W when the interchange takes you from below grade to above grade. The result is the skyline revealing itself right before your eyes. You could have caught it in this video but that would have required turning your camera north and probably risking an accident in the process
Wow, this was great! I'm glad you were able to get the skyline in your video from a distance near the Expo Blvd exit as Brent and I were unable to due to some thick fog. Can't wait to see your other LA videos!
Neat video, enjoyed the ride and the effects. No High Mast lighting at the I-105/I-110 interchange? Shocking! You know they'd do it up bright in Texas :)
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Probably on a Saturday or Sunday Morning. Correct? There is now way that you could drive anywhere in the vicinity of Los Angeles without hitting any form of traffic at Daytime.
After Texas freeways, California freeways seem like antiques don't they? And they truly are in Los Angeles, having been built in the 1950's for the fin cars and woodies with surf boards headed to the beach with the radios blasting Elvis and Frankie Avalon. Some roads are so old you can see where they were two lanes and shoulders are now driving lanes. The real dinosaur is the 110 Pasadena Freeway, more like a blvd, and the E, L.A. interchange is really in need of a Houston style makeover.
Never been to LA but seeing this video makes me feel like I'm in Seattle. LOL The freeway there has a lot of the same "look and feel" as this does, going right by downtown. Well, they ARE two large West Coast cities, so that might explain it! LOL
I think the Harbor Frwy has more of an urban feel than any other freeway in L.A I wish an elevated bus lane had been constructed over the 405 between the Valley and LAX. It would make Flyaway the best way to get to LAX.
Lol it's very VERY weird that I'm watching this video even though I live in LA! You Guys should move here like me and my family did! We only moved to Los Angeles because im going to start my acting career! Im only 12.
I don't think it is. you could spot downtown L.A. from far away, plus it's a lot more lightened up than dallas skyline. L.A.'s skyscrapers are all lightened up with L.E.D lights so you could see the skyline by far away at night. when I drive threw dallas you can't spot them right away you practically have to drive right beside them to spot them. plus there not lightened up at all. it maybe could look a little better if they displayed more lighting on there buildings. so in my opinion L.A. looks way better. but it takes L.A. by far on how clean it is.
The only reason why you're driving on this Freeway at night because you know that you could not drive this freeway during the Daytime and shoot a video.
Those old sodium vapor street lights give such a neostalgic feeling. I miss the early 2010s. It was a hell of a time to be a teen.

Julianof Paignton I think CA 91 from the 605 to the 110 is right up there, where it goes through Artesia, Bellflower, Downey, Paramount and Compton
i want to move to Cali so bad :(
It seems that in the United States you have to drive a long way through cities to get to major suburbs.
Damn Nice!! I'd enjoy ride

you are one lucky ass! is this some kind of career or do you do this for fun?
that'll be funny if i find my car in the freeway in this video.
I like LA but as someone who grew up in Dallas, TX...the Dallas skyline is much better than LA....and Dallas is cleaner
