    I’m planning a trip to LA in the fall and have been watching lots of videos. This is by far the best one. My only suggestion is this is way too much to do in only three days. But I’ve picked all my favorites. Great video.

    My family really wants to go to the most famous coffee shop in LA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and wow what an amazing guide to spending perfect days in Los Angeles! Planning first visit this video come in better time. From soaking the sun at Venice Beach to exploring the iconic sights like Hollywood walk of Fame, every moment seems like a dream come true! One thing I’m definitely adding to my literary is a visit to Quantum Clinic for mental wellness. Taking care of our mental health is so important, especially when exploring a bustling city like LA. Thanks for recommendation, can’t wait to experience the holistic approach to wellbeing alongside all the excitement the city has to offer!

      @@travelingtippsI live here, too.
      How about the museums. There are so many.
      Just a few:
      Getty's (center and villa)
      Art (tar pits, too)
      The new academy of motion pictures (I still need to go),
      Huntington Library.
      And in Exposition Park:
      Natural History,
      Science (seen the shuttle horizontal, museum being rebuilt to show its complete setup for a vertical launch),
      The new Lukas museum of storytelling is being built (looking just like a star wars spaceship),
      And visit the USC campus across the street. If it's a football game day, the entire campus will be a tailgate party. After which everyone walks back across the street to see the game at the Coliseum.

      I recommend you study the latest map of the LA Metro system. In this video he recommends going to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Music Center, Olvera Street, and Union Station. All those areas are easily accessible via the LA Metro.
      Also, research this transit system they have in LA called DASH. It's small buses/shuttles that operate in certain areas. It's convenient and inexpensive. Good luck and I hope you have a great time.
      BTW, I recommend checking out Exposition Park too. There is a lot to see there and it's also available via the LA Metro. And USC is right across the street.
      Also, LA Metro instituted a new fare capping policy for daily and weekly rates which can really benefit tourists.
      The way it works is if you spend more more than $5 dollars in a day on the LA Metro, all the rest of your rides are free for the day. And if you spend more than $18 dollars in a week the rest of your rides are free. The fares are $1.75 per ride with free transfers for 2 hours in the same direction. They call it fare capping. Checkout LA Metro's website.

      Thanks for watching! Hollywood/West Hollywood/Beverly Hills are very central and there are plenty of hotels at different price points to pick. The public transit network in Los Angeles isn't very comprehensive and can lead to confusing and long commutes. LA is also known for not being very walkable. The easiest way is to rent a car or use a ride-share (Uber/Lyft) to get between places. The Amtrak station is downtown which is convenient for that part of the itinerary.

    Thank you so much for sharing. What is the price range of parking in some of these tourist areas? Are these places far from LAX hotels? Just trying to figure out where to stay and love being close to LAX.

    • @travelingtipps
      @travelingtipps  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it really depends, some places have free street parking, while others might have paid garages/street parking that could be $10-$20 to park. LAX is pretty far south, just about everything I included in this video is north of the 10 Freeway which is usually 40-50 mins away from LAX depending on traffic

    • @antoniahamilton3201
      @antoniahamilton3201 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unless you plan to drive everywhere LAX is really quite removed from Dowtown La, Hollywood and even Santa Monica. As a native, I wouldn't advise that.

  • @piazapetit145
    @piazapetit145 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Thank you for the informative video, where do you recommend staying so that you can access all these places . Do you have to drive as we prefer public transport and tour buses

    • @travelingtipps
      @travelingtipps  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hollywood/West Hollywood/Beverly Hills are very central. Many of the tour buses will pick up and drop off in these areas. The public transit network in LA isn't robust enough to get you from place to place quickly, so I'd recommend a rental car or use a ride share while visiting.

    • @travelingtipps
      @travelingtipps  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It really depends. If you're going to be in one general area, you could probably get away without a rental car and just take Ubers places, but that gets expensive quickly. If you're planning to go to multiple parts of the area, renting a car would most likely be best and most cost effective.

    My then wife and my two brothers went plus our wives and kid did a fly drive holiday to the USA and one thing that spoiled our holiday was the two nights we spent in lost angels. On our first night a stranger in the next room to me was knocked out in the lobby by me for threatening my kids with a cut throat if they made any noise again so as any parent would do they would’ve what I did so I rearranged the bones from his neck upwards and funnily enough the local oinkers came and I gave my statement and informed me that he’ll be lucky if his face will ever be the same again to which I answered that he was lucky I was in a good, the oinker walked away laughing saying to his partner I’m happy he’s on our side
