Greatest blues song I’ve ever heard and Jim Morrison is the most disrespected Rock n roll Star it makes me sick.. he was such an amazing song writer and actually a very nice person to talk to. Don’t judge people on the opinions of others...longggg live.. James Douglas Morrison..the absolute baddest dude to ever preach on a microphone.
Concordo plenamente. Jim tinha muito senso de humor e era um poeta. As pessoas preferem ir para o lado fácil e classificá-lo como um roqueiro doidão. Jim foi muito mais que isso
The Doors were huge fans of the blues. Ray grew up in Chicago. Jim got high on life dancing to Who Do You Love by Bo Diddley. Chuck Berry wanted to jam w/The Doors, but they declined since Chuck Berry had refused other musicians to jam with him.
Long Live Jim Morrison (& the Doors) - the Clearest, Cleanest most Epic Rock & Roll Vocalist/Poet/Lyricist on the Planet, ever. No matter all the Crap his Dad pulled (Vietnam) back in the 60s, Jim deserves to be Imortalised for his Talent & Contribution to the History of the world's Music - separate & apart from all that. PS - really dug Clear Light back then too, BTW.
Words cannot describe how I feel when I listen to this purest of Blues... Over 12 years ago I had a CD of a concert of these legends playing together. It was one of the most treasured I owned. Thank God for You Tube because the C.D. was stolen from me. I believe that Albert was very different then Morrison, Jim's band more like Albert's in the desire to always play and sound perfectly. Jim desiring the same but somehow rationalizing that life doesn't really make sense, so why should ALWAYS
I'm not amplying that Albert was there because Jim could have a bad night because when Morrison was at the top of His game... Jim and Albert really made love with music together ... & the TIGHTEST BAND EVER !
another bass player the appeared with them on stage was one of my personal favorites Harvey Brooks who played with Myles Davis on Bitches Brew...but is probably best known as the bass player for the Electric Flag
Want you to rock me Rock me all night long Rock me baby Rock me all night long Want you to rock me 'Till I sing my songSee the sun goin' down Moon begin to rise See the sun goin' down Moon begin to rise Want you to rock me 'Till I'm satisfied Let's rock awhileSun goin' down Little moon begin to rise Sun goin' down Little moon begin to rise Want you to rock me, little darlin' 'Till I'm satisfied Let's rock awhileSee me comin', mama Bring out that old rockin' chair See me comin', mama Bring out your rocking chair No one's watching us And god knows, no one cares One more timeWant you to rock me, baby Rock me all night long Rock me baby Rock me all night long You gotta rock me, little woman Rock me all night long
Ex. ( victim of the insane). I saw Albert live 4 or 5 times. Never saw the Doors live. The Doors are one of my too 10 bands So is Albert's I believe neither really needed each other at all. Although, together they were a magical mix ! If Jim had a bad night, Albert and Jim's brilliant band could play well enouph to more then please everyone ! That say mountains of Albert King because the Doors were just huge as ever ... I remember ...
Bit of Morrison doin' the Blues!. Listening to this the other day and it's amazing to hear this...it's a real ear opener. Proving that Jim Morrison had soul man!. No doubt the "wokies" would hate this nowadays but it just strikes a chord in me...he was a talented vocalist.
actually they did have a bass player. they have had several play with them on records...but the guy that played most with them is a left handed bass player named Doug Lubahn.he played on 10 of their songs including writting and playing the bass part for Strange Days he also appeaed on stage with them occasionally..they ask him to join full time but he declined because he felt loyal to a band he was playing in at the time called Clear Light..a dicision he says he now regrets

Fax bro too much trash talk especially for the whole as of late but a legendary legacy as such will never die

Good. The right people will just understand. Alright :)
😎wish Jim stayed alive for the 70s imagine the sound of the doors then
Ah, The Doors & Albert King - two of my favourite things.
Jim's voice is...perfect 👍😎❤
Man...The Doors hold their own to the mighty King...
Thank you for posting this. I had and lost this recording years ago and could not find it anywhere. This is one of the best songs.

Moon begin to rise
Want you to rock me
'Till I'm satisfied
Let's rock awhileSun goin' down
Little moon begin to rise

Want you to rock me, little darlin'
