    This is a very pretty simple pattern, and I think it will be perfect for all of my left- over yarn scraps. Thanks.

    Thank you for this! New to trying new things... I plan on making a temperature blanket w/ this stitch..... but I would kinda like to do the high and low for the day on each single row... how would you recommend changing colors mid row? just tie the yarn SUPER tight, halfway? I'm not opposed to that, I've made it work before :D

    Which row should I end on if I want to add a picot border?

    Thank you for this tutorial, yours are always very clear, my only question is, I've been trying this with different size hooks because my mother (83) wants it real loose and holey, but when I do this pattern even with the suggested hook, the sides start fanning out, I think I noticed yours in the tutorial started to too. I've tried larger chains you name it, it fans out after the starting chain row. Have any advice?

      julie benson hi Julie, do you mind if I butt in here? I make lots of granny blankets, from baby size to King size, and I always, always plan on a good, deep granny stitch border. It straightens everything out, I never even block them. If you’re still not happy you could give it a gentle wash and dry it flat, on towels, either using T pins, or just your hands, a wee tug here and there often suffices. Good luck.

    How many chain for an Afghan sized blanket? Very good tutorial!

    • @CrochetJewel
      @CrochetJewel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      How wide do you want your blanket? I would do a chain count then measure it and once the chains are your desired width then stop there. Google baby blanket sizes. I can’t say off hand how many.

      Ch 1 pull through and weave in ends or you could a row of sc or sl st then weave in ends, is that what you mean? Hope that helps
