What an awesome stitch! I'm currently crocheting cat blankets for our local pet shelter so this would be a perfect way to use up scraps using this stitch! Thank you! 🥰 Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
@@NewMexico-FrankJen That's awesome! I regularly crochet cat blankets using my scrap yarns. Our local shelter really appreciates them. I add a note to them about washing them in the washing machine on gentle cycle to help them with that. I only use acrylic yarns. 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Lovely stitch... I think if I used regular cotton this would be a perfect textured stitch for dish rags or face clothes 👍 Love, love, love all your tutorials. I learn soooo much. THANK YOU 😊
I've been searching for a pattern for a black and white blanket for my Granddaughter, this is perfect as you probably know black yarn isn't the easiest to work with but because it's granny so easy. Thank you for sharing this lovely pattern ❤
What a beautiful stitch! I've seen patterns with this stitch without the front posting. I must prefer your front posting! It makes a simpler pattern much prettier. Great idea! Thanks so much.
It is very pretty and I have never seen a stack stitch before. That's the first time. I really like that stack stitch. Thank you so much for sharing.❤❤
I love this take on the granny stitch…the FPDC gives it a really nice look and beautiful texture. I like the idea suggested by Stephanie to use this stitch for dishcloths 🧡 Thank you for this tutorial 😊
Just beautiful!!! I am finishing a shawl today and before I begin another project I will be doing a practice swatch of this. Thank you for being so clear with the directions.
Omg Rebekah I just finished the swatch! It is simply stunning. I used white and for the second color I used Caron Blossom Cake color Radiant Rainbow. I am totally in love with this. Thank you so very much.❤
A lovely new stitch to try thank you Rebekah and the wool you are using for the tutorial is very pretty , I really must remember to use your standing / starting stitch instead of chains it looks so much neater 😊amanda xx💖
Thank you so much for this pattern. This stitch will make a beautiful blanket!! I’ll be making a baby blanket and a headband for baby using this stitch!! I think this will make a wonderful baby gift!! Thanks again!! NORMA COLLINS FROM TEXAS
I love the yarn you used in this video. Can you tell me which yarn it is? I didn’t see it on Lovecrafts and Ice has too many to search through. Thank you.
I really love how you do your standing stitch. Will It work on any beginning stitch. I am from America. Would it work for our single crochet, just one standing stitch, our double crochet, two standing stitches, and our treble stitch, three standing stitches? I am so in love with how you do this. I really hate the look of a chain at the beginning of a row. Thank you for your help.
I am quite a few rows into this project and it's it seems to be flaring on each end (a tad wider than the rest of the row.) I can't seem to figure out why, any suggestions?

This is a very pretty stitch, a twist on a regular granny stitch. I like this. Thank you for sharing. 💜🙏🏻
You are so welcome! And thank you Kathy! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🌸🧶
Great pattern , I found doing a double treble on the post stitch rows worked for me , rather than pulling the stitch.

I hope you love it when it’s finished! Black isn’t easy, that’s true but as you said because it’s a granny stitch that makes it much easier ❤️🥰

🥰🥰🌸 thank you
I love the yarn you used for this tutorial! Can you tell us that the yarn kind and color is? ❤❤
Where can I see written instructions for this beautiful pattern?
Pretty
Thank you Denise! 🧶🌸
This is absolutely gorgeous, if I want to make a blanket the same as yours do you start with white or the coloured yarn
Personally I started with the colour yarn but it wouldn’t really make much difference to your finished blanket 🥰🌸
I love the yarn you used in this video. Can you tell me which yarn it is? I didn’t see it on Lovecrafts and Ice has too many to search through. Thank you.

Yea absolutely it would work perfectly! 🥰🌸🧶
@@BlossomCrochet thank you. I look forward to using the technique.
Nice! What a lovely, alternative stitch😊Would you DC all the way around as a border or add extra DCs for the corner?
When it comes to a border I’d do DC, chain 2, DC all into the same corner space, that way you’ll keep lovely sharp corners 🥰🌸
Thanks Rebecca 👍
Thank you
You're welcome🌸🧶
I am quite a few rows into this project and it's it seems to be flaring on each end (a tad wider than the rest of the row.) I can't seem to figure out why, any suggestions?
When using two colors, do you carry your yarn up the side, and if so, how do you do that? It would be a pain if you had to break your yarn each time.
It almost makes them look like bobble stitches
This is really cute... But when you're doing a swatch why cant you demonstrate changing colors.
I don't always show changing colours (I usually do but not always) but there's a colour changing tutorial linked in the description box 🌸
Perfection!
Glad you think so! Thank you ☺️
