Not really. During the mislabeling the ai portion, it didn't quite understand it giving more dramatic answers eliciting another mislabel that was more egregious.
Think of that weird anime kid hearing some obscure anime being mispronounced by others. The weird anime kid would get annoyed and give an annoying, "well actually". Quickly the other kids would mispronounce it intentionally in a more overt ways to get an entertaining reaction from the socially illiterate child.

But it's not sentient, it doesn't 'understand' the words it's been given, or even the words it responds with. It is, at the end of the day, only an algorithm deciding what word would next be the most likely to be correct using pre-learned training. We just aren't there yet, and won't be for a good few years

Not to mention using letters like N, X, and P that are not anywhere on a chess board (unless P is referring to pawns). A chess board is an 8x8 alphanumeric grid going from A1 to H8, you'd never use any letters other than A B C D E F G H to denote a square on a chess board. He also said something _hundred_ in there and I don't see how anything in chess involves numbers that high lmao
@@Manigeitora N refers to knights, x refers to a capture (a knight capturing a piece on e4 would therefore be notated Nxe4), and O-O or O-O-O refers to castling which is what you were hearing with the hundred, but while P does refer to pawns, pawn moves are almost always notated as just the space the pawn lands on. But while everything I caught was the correct letters, he was saying them in random orders so it was still gibberish.
Regardless of that, Doug won the battle but lost the war 💀

Hilariously enough, a few computer scientists did this once, indirectly. They wanted to see what would happen if they made the two big chat AIs at the time talk to each other and I think it quickly devolved into them accusing each other of being AIs and insisting they themselves weren't an AI.

There is no straightfoward answer and since Doug has a background in programming it would make sense to be confused.
In additive color spaces (like RGB) blue and yellow make white. In subtractive color spaces (CYMK and mixing paints) they make green.
Mixing blue and yellow in real life is impossible due to how those color wavelengths are perceived by our eyes. Wikipedia calls the combination an "impossible color".

Dude, that absolutely sent me. Two moments in this video had me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe and almost pissed myself: that one, and Bjorn giving the cheese board layout rapid fire. My brother is a big chess guy, and he said what it sounds like Bjorn was doing was describing each tile on the board one by one, from the bottom left to the bottom right, then from the next line left to right. He didn't just describe the moves that were made, he described LITERALLY the entire board.

I get why the AI didn't accept the Zorbeez answer, though. Like, the teacher asked him for a single answer to his question and Doug started reciting the entire textbook.
