Even though most of the users are never going back to physical keyboards, I think the KEYone will find its place in the market. It will not sell well that's for sure but I don't think anyone else could make a better Android phone with a keyboard. It's nice to see you around, BlackBerry.

But I'm still in major doubt here :( My Xperia is on its last days and I'm about to buy a new phone (Blackberry, 'cause I really miss physical keys), but I can't decide between Priv and Keyone :( Priv currently costs €350 while Keyone is releasing for €600, almost the double of that! fyi....the spacebar is also used as a camera shutter button while using the camera!! that is fantastic! also the keyboard can be used the adjust the settings while in manual mode in the camera as well! Great review. As a former Crackberry addict I live the phone. I used to be able to fly on that keyboard. Now on the iPhone 7, with SwiftKey. I can do about 100 words a minute. Typing on a physical keyboard is rigorous. That said, a beautiful design.

Been using this phone for a few month now. Seriosly, best phone I've used since my old Nokia N95 8Gb (which I used for 8 years). The keyboard feeling is one of a kind. Just to be clear, I was never a fan of Blackberry (means I was never interested in their phones), I moved on to Android once my Nokia began to lack modern features and apps. But once I saw the phone on Android which has a physical keyboard - I instantly fell in love with it. I remember I even dreamed once "what if someone would make an android phone with button, now that would be awesome" and when I saw this guy I couldn't believe my eyes. As I said, been using it a few months now and I'm still amazed by it like in the day I bought it. I have to say that it's indeed overpriced, but it's worth it. I really hope it will last a few years for me.
Dear BlackBerry (and TCL), My excitement is turning into frustration with the KEYone. It was supposed to start selling on May 4 here in Switzerland but the delivery date changed to "approximately 6-8 days" (with information subject to change). With this kind of lack of communication and clarifications, no wonder why a lot of people are already considering other alternatives. Awesome video, I haven't seen a better review of this phone yet. You said there are no better phones with a physical keyboard, but that's not true. There's an official keyboard addition for the Galaxy S7 variants and I believe S8 too, I was expecting a comparison with those. Anyway, I think this is pretty cool and they did a really good job with it, but I wouldn't sacrifice my screen space for a keyboard.
This phone's all about convenience. Shortcuts, UI tweaks and tiny details on the user's end make this phone one of the best if you're used to BlackBerry. But the target audience of this phone obviously doesn't include many of us. But I watched the video to the end anyway: Reason 1: Michael Fisher. Reason 2: Video gave me more of a standpoint on what BlackBerry wants to do on the market. They're catering to a relatively narrower audience, so what they done with this device is interesting.
Physical Keyboards are great. I type A LOT on my phone and doing that on a touchscreen is a nightmare with miss types and autocorrect. Knowing where my keys are and being able to type without autocorrect is AWESOME.
As a fan of Blackberry [yes, even in 2017] this is quite a compelling review... I'm low-key holding out for the OnePlus 5 but this may not be a bad idea as a secondary device...especially for the productivity potential [THAT keyboard...aye]. Nicely done, Mr. Mobile.

its ridiculous. coming from the passport se which has stereo speakers they expect me to downgrade to mono. I wont go back. that is a deal breaker
