- In this woodturning video, I will wood turn some pine cones and drift wood into something absolutely magical. Using epoxy resin and colouring mica powder pigments I will transform this into a hybrid bowl using my wood turning lathe. It is a great project to make of any beginners as pine cones are wildly available at low cost or in most cases free. Happy watching 😊

I've got a question david, do you ever get nervous when doing these wood turning videos cause imagine the thought of the object your turning and grind could explode from the force of the spin.

This is just so beautiful! I am absolutely fascinated! I grew up when they started introducing resin crafting kits usually making paper weights or key rings. Had I only seen the title Davids wood turning I wouldn’t have had a second glance… I never could begin to imagine that wood turning could create such items. Thanks for sharing your skill with us 💛
