Pine Cones + Clear Resin = Mesmerizing

Welcome to today's woodturning project! My wife asked me to make another flower pot, so I made one using pine cones with clear resin. I sprayed the project with high gloss lacquer, which really made it pop up. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the end result and so was my wife.

Very beautiful! I think a lamp base with the pine cone/clear resin would be very beautiful. Especially if the base was lit from the inside to show off the pine cones!

I know this video is over a year old as I type this, but...
I saw a similar video where black resin was used. I remember thinking that clear or amber coloured resin would look way nicer, and it does indeed.

Fantastic...! much too pretty to put flowers in. Water will ruin it. Set it on a shelf where visitors can lift it and feel it.

Mica powder in the resign pour would have been better. Pearl with and color would have been nice.
