You should check out Sails of Charon for a truly unique look into early scorpions featuring their guitarist Uli John Roth who left the band since they had creative differences. I love both styles of the Scorpions but man their early shit was so flavorful!
Wowser! Digging the hair! Digging the reaction! The Zoo takes me back to about my 9th grade year (I think). I thought the riffs sounded so cool - that's what first attracted me to the Scorpions. Someone like You was always a staple for me. I think I fell in love with the music video first and then the song.
Scorpions are truly unique... From hard rock like " sails of charion" to psychedelic song like " yellow raven " they are just amazing. I recomment you to go for " when you came into my life" and you will find "another" scorpion.

"The Zoo" is from the 1980 album "Animal Magnetism" (a personal favorite of mine) and "No One Like You" is from 1982's "Blackout". In the time between these two albums, lead vocalist Klaus Meine had surgery on his vocal chords. His surgeon wasn't sure if he would ever sing again. Both versions of his voice are awesome, though his voice is raspier in this song than in his later songs.
Scorpions is a very popular band, great ballads.... but I prefer their others songs, like these. They are very goods, great albums. The voice is unique, I like a lot, how he modules it... it's other instrument, so beautiful. They have created very good compositions , very good quality musicians. Lots of songs to listening. (I'm more in Thrash Metal, but I appreciate Scorpions as a great band, and in the past I listened a lot)

The Zoo isn't just the best Scorpions riff, its' one of the greatest riffs in metal history. Just gets the hair standing up every time.

Great review - all the songs below are seriously good but my view is that Holiday is a classic and Blackout a worthy mention.
