Just bought this model last night at Home Depot - north jersey. I was so fed up with fighting with my original RyobI that I got 10 yrs ago wen I became a homeowner. Besides the fact that couldn’t find a bump head that would last, it would take literally 20 mins to start and a lot of effort and F’ing cursing. Going from that to this for me is like going from a Yugo to a Porsche. Granted it was 8pm wen I got back from the Depot and was so excited to use it I started wacking right away. The neighbors didn’t say anything because I think they saw me smash my RyobI into pieces after I couldn’t take it anymore. 😂. Anyway, I ❤️ it. Did my whole front lawn in minutes and not so good on the edging because, well it was dark and I couldn’t see but I was so amped I couldn’t help myself.

I just got mine today and I haven't had a chance yet to really use it. Just dicked around and whacked some weeds on the driveway but this Sunday I'm gonna jack things up in the backyard guaranteed and I can't wait !!!

I have the 225i model, and it’s been a good weed eater. The only thing I don’t like about it is it blows tar out the exhaust. I ended up taking the spark arrester out to keep it from plugging up.

I personally love both the srm225 and the Husqvarna 525l. I own them both. Both Great trimmers.

i have a 225 this spring i hade it for two years i got 72 hrs on her i love her i got differnt atachments for it i got the string trimer 8in bruch blade ege trimer and 10in chan saw its the beast weed eater i ever had
That’s the PAS 225 it’s the same thing but it’s just a power head.

Thinking About Getting One For Myself. I love straight Shafts! At Home Depot it's 349$ is that a good price?? Because I know most echos start in 2-3 pulls max.
