In the worldfood section in Asda in the Polish bit, they do a Greek seasoning, this can be used either for shawarma or gyros, having holidays in crete for many many years and being a chef for 30yrs I can honestly say this is one of the best seasonings I've tried, and I've tried alot. Amazon does the best range of Cretean rubs and seasoning for £3.00 +

@fatandy - you should crush the garlic with the flat of a chefs knife if adding the garlic un-chopped, parsley on the potatoes would be nice. Being a Chef I like that you cook also review.

I have literally just took some pork chops outa my freezer for tomorrow for me and family I was going to cook them in a chilli and mango but might av to give this a whirl nice one andy
Mum was a cook and so was my nan, but it was mostly good old British food, I was brought up on home cooking is where I learnt that from, I did work in a restaurant for a couple of years between the age of 14-16 years old, I always had an interest in food and really do like cooking, I like to mess about with spices and different things and try to create different flavours, as for following recipes yes I do sometimes especially when it comes to foreign food, this dish I cooked was from a recipe but I did add some different ingredients, so yes and no, if I look at a recipe 9 times out of 10 i will change it sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, but yeah I am no trained chef just love what I’m doing 👍

The marinade was put on the pork and then cooked again in the oven, so no longer raw 🤷♂️
