I love this set up! You can compare it to my other videos to see how different the sound is, compared to both stock and just with exhaust. But start up is MUCH louder, idle is a little bit louder, and it's much louder when you step on the accelerator. It definitely deepened the tone throughout, but does get a little raspy at higher RPM's (a resonated x-pipe will get rid of the rasp).
And for everybody saying he could of just saved his money and bought a v8 this setup barely cost 2000$ for more sound and power so wyd mean save up lmao😂😂😂
My car stalled once when I turned on the ghost cam while waiting at a traffic light. Other than that, no problems (it does kill your gas mileage though). I think it was worth it, since I was able to get rid of the check engine light that will pop up with headers. If you have an automatic transmission, it tunes that too to shift better.

I have the V6 with the MRT Version 1. The MRT v2.0 sounds much crisper but overall im very impressed. Installing new headers and a cold Air Intake and your looking at a pretty well rounded car. A little heavy for its power, but the suspension set up with the proper tires your looking at a pretty cool tuner's machine
I have an LLT as well, I blew 2 of them up, these engines stock can’t really handle abuse, so on my third time around im gonna do an LFX engine from the 12, take the heads off the LLT so I can do the long tubes, do a mace cam set up, I love the sounds of the 3.6s. Not necessarily the new LGXs sound is too tractor like

From what I've heard, early on the ghost cam was a bit different and would come on anytime the car was idling. Now, it only comes on after the engine has warmed up to it's normal running temperature. Also, you can turn it off while driving by turning on cruise control.
Now with the Trifecta tune, they include the ghost cam (mild, moderate, and aggressive) that can be adjusted or turned on/off as you like. In the video, I had the aggressive ghost cam. I prefer the moderate ghost cam though.
No, no problems (other than the cats scraping when I go over speed bumps). In the video, I had the ghost cam set to aggressive, but I've changed it to moderate and like it a lot better.
Thanks! I don't remember what the stock exhaust rasp sounds like, but the rasp with the headers is kind of annoying, almost like a buzzing sound. The rasp should disappear after putting more miles on the car or with the resonated X-pipe.
supercharging a v6 is pointless, all you can do is beat a stock v8 and barely beat it, with the time and money spent on TT or S/C it you could trade in for a v8 get 2mpg less and get the sound of a v8
***** lol no... i have a buddy with a TT v6 he spent about 6k just on the turbo kits alone... plus building his manifold, tune and installation, and he is not even in the 600whp... with the money he spent on his car he could of easily traded in for an older ss, and boosted it with some smaller turbos and still be pushing the same thing...and you could only beat a zl1 in a 1/4 mile, top speed, track and even 1/2 mile the zl1 will win

Currently, I have the SLP LM2 axle back, resonator delete, and magnaflow resonated x pipe. The x pipe got rid of all the rasp, but I'm hoping the solo HFC and muffler delete will make it sound something similar to this. Only thing is is I have an LFX, no option for headers
Nick Waters you can still have headers on you just have to take it to any mechanic and they’ll wield it for you. It cost me like 40 bucks. Get bbk long tube headers
No, I won't add an x-pipe. It'll quiet the exhaust down too much for me. The rasp has gotten a lot better after adding miles to the car. If I were to put the x-pipe, I'd add the x-pipe, then do a muffler delete.

+leon worth in 2012, GM switched to the LFX engine, which has integrated exhaust manifolds (which can't be removed from the engine). It was part of the solution to make more power and a more efficient engine.
The Trifecta tune is a "mail-order" tune, meaning you purchase the tune then use your computer like a hand-held tuner to upload it to the car (with a USB cable adapter). It was pretty simple. However, I'd recommend looking into IPF tuning or HP-Tuners, instead.

Thanks! If you're planning on going to an SS, I'd definitely just save up and go that route; plenty more options in the SS. But if you do keep the 2013, a set of downpipes and hi flow cats sounds pretty good, plus you'll have better tuning options.

Trifecta has been around longer (for a while, they were the only tune available for the V6), but communication with the company can be slow at times. And horsepower gains seem to be hit or miss, with some people gaining hp while others have only slight increases (I haven't had a chance to dyno my car to see what I'm putting down after updating the tune). IPF is similar in that you tell them the mods you have and they send you a tune to upload to your car. I think they've shown to have better hp gains, but I haven't paid much attention to them. HP Tuning is the software suite that a lot of shops use, so with this one a shop could properly tune your car on a dyno, like most people are familiar with. They'd be able to make adjustments to give you the best tune possible, instead of having to upload a tune yourself. HP tuners were trying to have the tuning software finished early this year but I still haven't heard anything about it.

William Smith it's set to where once the engine has warmed up, it'll kick in as long as you have the button for cruise control activated.

They are BBK 1-5/8” Long Tube Headers. I did have to purchase wire harnesses for the O2 sensors as well
