Apple has never been about changing the design year over year but it's getting ridiculous how much companies have been hanging onto the same look and feel each year.
At least the standard 16 has changed its design, although it's based on older design aesthetic like the X and 11. Sometimes it's nice to revisit older designs with a more modern twist . I love the base 16 design, it's tidy and utilitarian looking, nice colours too!😊

I'm predominantly an android user. But I do have an iPhone 13 as a second device, which I think is great, plus it still has 100% battery! If I had the 15 I don't think I'd upgrade, probably won't upgrade from my 13 . The 16 looks a fantastic device, although I do agree it should have a 90-120hz display. I personally don't mind the 60 hz though
Great HONEST comparison. I have an iPhone 15 plus and compared it to a iPhone 16 pro max, there is very little difference. 16 pro max was 2 mm bigger, didn't feel any faster. Camera was identical to 15 pro max. Camera control felt " clunky", not natural and not like something which will improve over building muscle memory with practice. If I upgraded, I would get iPhone 15 pro max with 1 tb.

Correction: the iPhone 15 also had 2000 nits of screen brightness. the 16's display is exactly the same except for 1nit lowest brightness
The 15 can get very dark
