It would be nice to know the circumstances behind the rollover. The story might be educational for those who seldom go off pavement.

Well , what do you know , GMC actually made some really good WIPER motors
Reminds me of an incedent in UK involving a Police vehicle, known as a PolAc. Unfortunate driver phoning control room 'Er Seargenat , we've had an accident.Sarge : Any damage - Driv: a bit, the ariel and blue light are damaged. Sarge: What hit them? Driver : well, nothing really. It was when they got bettween the roof and the road the damage occured.
Back in the 40s my grandfather used to work in a mechanic shop and a moonshiner came into the shop with a howling rear-end and asked him to put it on the lift and he went to the grocery store and bought a dozen bananas and came back and stuff them in the rear-end and it stopped the howling
sawdust works for a little while. It is an old used car salesman trick.
On the bright side, if it starts raining you'll still be able to see through the windshield of that GMC, no matter which side is up.
Great recovery I just hope everyone was OK
Washboard roads are scary. Last year I finally had the opportunity to drive down Moki Dugway into Valley of the Gods. I thought I would bounce off the road into the canyon. Such a beautiful place.

The auto industry is overflowing with marketing people who entirely FAIL to comprehend that vehicle names and all their TV ads showing and talking hype about their product being offroad vehicles just gets their fool buyers deceived into thinking that with 6in of ground clearance and 4in of wheel travel and low profile pavement tread tires they have an offroad capable car. It AIN'T true. I call false advertising which is a violation of federal law. The GMC Terrain was on a graded road it should handle other than the crappy street shocks not handling the washboard. I suppose the driver was not paying close enough attention to their driving and dropped the right side wheels off the edge causing the roll.

Those type of deals seem more appt to happen when driver runs low on talent. Nothing wrong with that, that's how you learn where the line is.

Why when you disconnect the battery in case of a short and if it shorted out on the back of your truck it would take your truck and put it on fire also

Casey, is taking the Duramax on a dirt road bad cuz of the dirt-dust getting on the rollers and bearings? ...or maybe it's a suspension thing?.....or ...?
We have a general rule not to take our rollbacks on a dirt road but we break it often

Casey I'm amazed that your DURAMAX rollback is still functioning with all the times it's used on a dirt road...lol ......and I heard a long time ago that you should never take your rollback on a dirt road. .......keep us taging along on those dirt roads and stay safe 👍
