All I care about with Robin’s casting is that she is as dedicated as the other straw hat actors have been. They have been amazing and seem genuinely, immensely grateful and honored to play their roles and I hope the actress that portrays Robin follows in their footsteps.
Same😊
Just Robin? Chopper joining the crew 2nd season. Could be a tiny person with practical effects.
@@djfusionkotb I don't think they would do that. Actually, I think Chopper in season 2 will be the most different from the manga. Chopper is a 15-year-old teenager when we meet him, but he is designed like a cute plushie and acts like a child because it works in the anime/manga but not in live action. So I think they'll just hire a real teenager to play him. They'll have prosthetics and everything, of course.
@@ONEPEAKFRFR The teen would grow up just after a few seasons. That’s the issue. CGI or a little person actor.
@djfusionkotb just recast, CGI for a character as important as chopper would be dumb and expensive. Ohnestly use a poppet would make the most sense
can't wait for a non one piece fan to start calling the show "woke" for having bon clay in it, lmao
Same. The One Piece fandom will tear them apart for the lack of respect towards the GOAT.
Hoping Bon Chan’s an exaggerated drag queen in this version.
Little do they know we don't want Ban Clay any other way let's be honest
@@ZTGust09 What are you talking about? He’s a massive fan favorite.
@@Phanthief95 I meant it as we don't want him to be any other way as in his intense personality should NOT be changed!!!
I pray for the cgi and special effects artists. If this show really gets popular they’re gonna have to deal with all the stuff that’s happening in the anime in all its buffoonery
this show IS ALREADY popular tho... Haven't you noticed just how many new one piece fans we got to our fandom just because of the LA?
Theyre only doing 5 seasons, the original 5 before Oda extended the series
@@P.Subaeruginosa wait so live action might find the one piece before the manga😂
@@P.Subaeruginosa I hope they at least get through summit war enies lobby would be great
Fr i don't know how far they'll go tho it would probably take 10y to get thru everything I can't imagine whole cake or wano
Chopper will be deciding factor for this next season. Skeleton Brook can't join yet, because without his shadow he will burn up, but I think the Rumbar Piratrs flashback gives a huge hint to future seasons.
I've been working on that!
Don't forget Franky joins first before him yo ho ho ho
@@markgregorygacosta531 Of course, he's too super to miss!
I wonder what will Chopper will look like?🤔
I would be very disapointed if they didn't show at least silhouette of Brook's afro in Reverse Mountain. Especially with all the details and forshadowing they put in first season.
I expected a picture of the Rumbar Pirates featuring a tall thin man with poofy hair! Yohohohoho!
Everyone’s overthinking it. They’re making Robin Latina because all of her attack names are in Spanish.
Thankfuly, would be awkward to have a non spanish actress butcher the attack names everytime😂
@@orbboom6119you don't have to be Spanish yourself in order to properly speak Spanish
@@ThisisKyleStill, literally doesn't matter what ethnicity characters have since One Piece is set in a fictional world. Yes, Oda stated what the Straw Hats would be if they lived in the REAL world, but think about it. The live action is still set in a fictional world so Luffy being Mexican instead of Brazilian is fine. Same goes for Nami not being Swedish or Sanji not being French. So in turn, the same goes for Robin not being Russian like Oda said.
Also I think the live action wants to Carter to the anime only fans that hated the skin color change after timeskip, despite oda never intending robin to be tan.
But I will agree robin does look best with the tan.
@@ThisisKyle you don’t have to but it sure as fuck helps. How many times have you seen American actors absolutely fucking butcher English accents? And that’s the same fucking language! I think it’s smart to go with a latina for this role. And since we don’t actually know who it is, we don’t know what the actress looks like yet, but you never know. Latino people come in all different shades of colors, she might end up still looking exactly like Robin
I've been to Mehrangarh fort. It's a magical place. Had no idea Oda was inspired by it.
Honestly one of the reasons I am very damn excited for season two is to see your episode breakdowns, keep up the good work my dude, always the best breakdowns videos.
Oda will find Robin He is the one that draw her and know her better that any of us and he is not into cast for being woke but for what he feel in the auditions tapes even if Robin end up not look like people wan her to look Oda will pick her because she have the spirit of Robin.
When Nami gets sick after Little Garden, Chopper is in the horizon.
if this is a split season, it’s almost for sure going to be 10 episodes. netflix almost never does split seasons for 8 episode seasons.
stranger things season 4 was split into the first 7 episodes, then the final two episodes (which were over feature length and had around 4 episodes worth of content in). cobra kai seasons on average are 10 episodes, and season 6 is 15 episodes being split into three parts of 5 episodes. i could easily see a 5 or 6 first part covering up to drum island for this season, then a 4 or 5 second part covering alabasta to make 10 episodes
Bro i just wanna see how they gon do chopper
8 episode format (More than likely will happen)
1. Lougetown
2. Reverse Mountain + Whiskey Garden (Cutting Whiskey Peak and combining it with Little Garden)
3. Whiskey Garden
4. Drum Island
5. Drum Island
6. Alabasta
7. Alabasta
8. Alabasta
10 Episode format
1. Lougetown
2. Reverse Mountain/Whiskey Peak
3. Whiskey Peak/Little Garden
4. Little Garden
5. Drum Island
6. Drum Island
7. Drum Island/Crew on the Merry/Alabasta
8. Alabasta
9. Alabasta
10. Alabasta
I doubt they'd put Alabasta in season 2
You won't get half an episode on the ship after drum island. If there's any major time focussing on them in the ship it's gotta be when Nami is sick before Drum Island. Then, in one go you can do nami getting sick and the encounter with Wapol at sea. I agree that you need them to stay in one place for a decent amount of time, so I think 3 eps is right for Alabasta. Though, I think if you do more introduction to Wapol, then you may be able to condense drum Island to a single full episode. If they do an 8 ep season I think reverse mountain is the easiest to change for speed. So do:
1. Lougetown + Episode Ends going over Reverse Mountain, with a cliffhanger of getting eaten by Laboon (which here happens straight away, they just fall off reverse mountain straight into Laboons mouth).
2. Condensed encounter with Laboon, perhaps they get eaten, see Crocus sitting on his Island menacingly, pick Vivi up (who Crocus was glaring at), but are thrown up straight away, and when they ask what Laboons deal is/ the reason for the scars THEN you get the Laboon backstory, and can show Crocus a little bit in the backstory. Do this in like 20 mins then most of the episode can be the Log Pose explanation, arriving at Whiskey Peak, and Zoro's fight with Baroque works, then end the episode with the start of Zoro/Luffy's clash
3. End of Whiskey Peak/Little Garden, end the episode when the Alcohol explodes
4. End of Little Garden, skip the whole goldfish encounter + here do a ship scene with Nami's sickness, Alabasta revolution explanation +Wapol all in one, end the episode at the arrival on drum Island with Vivi getting shot. You can introduce Kureha and Chopper in this episode, like mention drum Island as a place with amazing Doctors and splice in the scene of Chopper and Kureha ripping off that bar owner.
5. Drum Island
6. Alabasta
7. Alabasta
8. Alabasta
@@freakydeaky1435 Every new crew member gets two full episodes dedicated to them according to Matt Owens and Season 1 format (Ussop and Sanji). You cannot condense Drum Island. The audience needs time to accept the new crew member.
I think Alabasta should be saved as the main focus Season 3 due to it being the first long arc.
@@mcurran6505 I thought that too. But perhaps 8 episodes for Alabasta would be too much time.
So much to look forward to! Meeting Laboon, introduction to Vivi, introduction to Robin, introduction to Crocodile, introduction to the Elbaf warrior giants, introduction to Chopper and Doctorine, introduction to the chad Bon Clay, introduction to Ace! Introduction to Smoker, the introduction to the Grand Line overall. This is gonna be great!!
The tea. Is. Good.
Thank you for this video! I love that you're covering the show again, and I would like you to do more of these news style videos in the future. That said, I also agree with your view that if there isn't a lot to talk about, it may not be worth it to make a new video each time just to ride the hype wave, so I actually would enjoy videos like this that maybe don't come too often, but are more comprehensive, more thought out and better researched. I want to stay properly informed, yes, but I don't need daily tabloid style flash updates. Keep up the good work!
Danny Devito for Wapol, Crocus, or Miss Merry Christmas!
Man, im excited for this. I hope it can be just as good as season 1 🙏
I'm more excited for the number of new fruits we getting...
Mr 5
Miss Valentines
Mr 3
Mr2
Smoker
Robin
Chopper
Dalton
Possibly Wapol/Mr 1/MerryXmas/Lasoo/Croco/Ace
This video is one of the best content videos I've seen today. Props to you for having all these infos from many sources. Appreciated it!
i wish they do more sanji vs zoro bickering, zoro getting lost, zanji simping on Nami, Nami being a big sister and a well made CGI Chopper.
Dan avidan or even Weird Al as Brook would be hilarious
Btw, I don't know why people seem hell-bent on the idea we will get all the way to Alabasta this season, because there's A LOT of material to fill up this season without having to get to get Alabasta, and I would prefer they don't rush, and instead give plenty of room for Alabasta for the third season.
I feel this season will play out like this:
First episode: logue town
Second Episode: reverse mountain, laboon and intro to whisky peak
Third episode: second part of whisky peak and intro to little garden
Fifth episode: second part of little garden
Sixth and seventh episode: CHOPPER!!!
Eight episode: intro to Alabasta
And for the third season you can decide it in three parts: Pt1 Alabasta, pt2 Jaya, pt3 Skypidea
And all of this is without taking into account any extra narrative like the one they added for Koby, so yeah, I REALLY hope they won't try to rush to Alabasta, because there more than enough story and material to do proper seasons without rushing, they really don't need to do Alabasta this season, and I hope they don't.
Personally I do not mind if they skip wiskey peak and little garden. Giants can be introduced a little later in another season. Wiskey peak on the other hand is forgettable and stuff that happens can be shown in other parts of the season. If they want to condense the story they should do ep 1 Logue Town, ep 2 Reverse Mountain, Ep 3 4 Chopper and introduce some of the wiskey peak content. Finally 5 to 8 for Alabasta. Each ep dedicates to someone eg. Ep 5 ace, ep 6 Smoker and marines, ep 7 Vivi and ep 8 Crocodile.
@@News10111I agree they should have skipped Little Garden it would fit the 8 episode nicely. Little Garden got people speculating episodes with half and half arcs. It’s a mess. People acting like the live action is gonna make it to Elbaf when the manga hasn’t gotten there yet and I doubt Elbaf will ever be a whole arc. This live action is making it to MarineFord max.
Splitting Arcs like this comment is suggesting is unorganized and messy.
I want Alabasta to be fully covered in Season 2. The Straw Hats waving goodbye to Vivi with their X marked arms would be a much more fitting conclusion than just arriving in Alabasta. And if they want to set up Season 3, they could end it the same way as 4Kids with the ship falling from the sky.
@@SeanWheeler100 I agree not including Alabasta in a season that’s covering the Alabasta saga is messy. Then have S3 Alabasta, Jaya, and Skypiea is super messy. S3 should just be half Jaya half Skypiea. More than likely this would be the organization. 10 episodes or cutting Whiskey Peak in a 8 episodes would be the only way.
Not sure if you only watch the anime or if you also read the manga, but Little Garden can't be skipped.
I hope they take their time to do all the pre-Alabasta arcs justice. Plus, Alabasta itself should be 3 or 4 episodes so I wouldn't mind if they split the season up.
im so excited!!!! and btw i LOVE when they cast characters that are in the manga and anime depicted as really pale or straight up white as poc. first of all cause its exciting to see all kinds of actors from all kinds of backgrounds come together for this project, second of all bc it makes the world of one piece feel as big as its supposed to bc you can tell there are different people from different parts of the world, but THIRDLY and most importantly bc it makes racists mad and if someone is complaining about something as inconsequential as robins actress likely being latina, then thats just one person more i know from the start i dont want to interact with
I don’t care about robins skin color that much even though she is white and Toei animation made a mistake all I care about is that she is pretty and a good actor
Look I know it is too early in the story, but I really want news about Law casting, just a smidge.
Most of us are asking how Chopper is going to happen! I think the best solution is a combination of puppetry, motion capture, and CGI to fill in the gaps. This could avoid the "uncanny valley" effect. Motion capture like "Ted" and "Lord of the Rings" with puppetry like "The Mandalorian" is probably the best bet. Speaking of which, I wanna be Chopper! I made an audition video and a Chopper puppet!
I think Lenny Rush should play Chopper, For people don’t know him his Award winning british actor who has Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita a type of Dwarfism he can capture that emotion of growing up being different like Chopper is If The show is going for more practical effects, I think he would be perfect for the job
Incredible to know! Hope you get the role 😊
I hope he both look and sound cute like the anime Chopper, I do not like the english dub voice actor for Chopper but who knows.
@@alvdansen7172 If cast, I'll do my damnedest to make him sound cute! I'll make sure they go the second Sonic route, you know?
For 2nd season I thought the exact same way the season would go 15:10, but since you make a good point about the season being in 2 parts especially since during Luffy & Usopp’s birthdays they only really hinted at Little Garden so I can see them doing 10 episodes where the first half is Logue Town to Little Garden then the next half is Drum Island & Alabasta
- Also as for Brook yes I can see just a person just to stand in but once if we get to Thriller Bark I really want Doug Jones to play him
I just hope they don't cover a lot of arcs into few episodes. Thats basically the only problem I had with the first season. The ideal Season 2 for me would cover till the Alabasta Kingdom, so then we sould have time to meet Labom, stop at the Baroque Island and get Vivi, recruite Chopper and get a lot of time to cover the big arc that it is Alabasta. That arc deserve to have enough time since is the first more complex arc in the story!
oh wow it does look like miss golden week is gonna be a bit more significant!! that would be amazing. ive always wondered a lot about her abilities and why a child would be in a mercenary group of assassins?? like we know why robin did it, but we know nothing about her! if they find a good actress for, i can really see them going for a good dark comedy bit here. ooh the possibilities!
Awesome video man! A split season could be pretty cool and I’d be down for seeing how it’s spaced out! Plus, less downtime in between releases sounds fantastic!
I love videos like this, I hadn't heard anything about season 2 so far because I don't actively follow any news. Thanks for making this!
i just want robin to be pretty that's all i care about
Yeah I agree robin is one of my favorite characters I’m really hoping they don’t screw it up, I gotta trust in Oda to pick a good actor
THANK YOU FOR THIS!! *watching now and will comment more as I watch*
No matter the ethnicity, all I want is for Robin’s actress to look similar, blue eyes, black hair with bangs, mysterious and appear more mature or wiser than the rest of the crew.
glad to have inspiration from Rajasthan, India, they're really working hard for this.
I don't care about Robin not being the prefered nationality, all i care about if the actress's performance is good and believable.
The fact that they're recreating the rumbar pirates' ship for just Crocus' flashback...wow... that's dedication
I hope they dont cut the candelabra the zoro making a pose gag is to good to be cut
Agree. I really want to see Mackenyu do the Star Wars pose.
And I can totally see live action Zoro doing that gag, too.
yes
All I know is I’m excited and hope we get two parts of the season so show has more time and we get more fleshed out content in the episodes 👌
Nice video dawg
I suspect that season 2 will not finish the Alabaster arc and end with them getting to Alabaster and revealing Ace leaving season 3 to finish the arc and likely the entire Skypiea arc.
I don't necessarily care who they cast for the characters, so long as their efforts into the character itself aligns with what we're familiar with, but then again they can their own spin to the character which would make them quite interesting, because they can sort of deviate from what they're known to be in the manga or anime just to keep it interesting. I'm interested to see who they cast for doing Chopper and Brook, maybe they'll hire the anime VA's over CGI characters, who knows. but it will be interesting to see how Brook and Chopper will look in Live-Action. I'm also looking forward to Bon Clay appearing in the Live-Action too, and I'll bet that will somehow stir some controversy to non-Anime fans seeing that character in a Live-Action series, because there's always one person.
The one thing I know that certain fans of one piece want to see is seeing live action Nami, Vivi and Zala wearing sandals instead of boots
Can we all agree that the race problem is getting way out of hand? Who the hell cares what "race" someone is, we are all humans at the end of the day, all the same. And you can make an argument that ethnicity/race doesn't even exist in media in the first place. In manga/anime in particular, people don't look different no matter where they are from. An American person and a Japanese person in an anime looks identical, due to the art-style, which honestly, is how we should treat people.
Having said that, I do appreciate that they are making an effort to properly portray Live Action characters as close to the proper nationality as possible, cuz even if we should ignore our race and just treat each other the same, acknowleding that it exists isn't a bad thing.
Episode format for Season 2:
Episode 1 - Loguetown
Episode 2 - Reverse Mountain
Episode 3 - Whisky Peak
Episode 4 - Little Garden 1
Episode 5 - Little Garden 2
Episode 6 - Drum Island 1
Episode 7 - Drum Island 2
Episode 8 - Drum Island 3 & Prologue to Alabasta as a cliffhanger.
To be honest, I think the Alabasta arc (plus the Post Alabasta arc) should be the main focus as Season 3. Due to it being the first long arc.
The casting call suggests Drum Island will also be part of Season 3. I predict:
Episodes 1-2: Loguetown
Episode 3: Reverse Mountain
Episodes 4-5: Whiskey Peak
Episodes 6-8: Little Garden and cliffhanger of Nami getting sick
Stinger: First appearance of Chopper
My concern is for Captain Alvita new apperence once she consumes the slip slip fruit. Are they gonna make the actress lose weight, recast her or not mention her at all?
The actress has been doing a lot of training over the past however many months and has shared some pictures on her social media. Feels like she may really be committing to the role!
@@onepieceexplained wow. season two better out do season one. Can’t wait :)
not me imagining Spicy Latina Robin hitting Franky with a chancla when he gets body swapped with Chopper by Law
I know there are fan theories that Luffy & Robin may be related/may share a parent. This casting could be hinting towards that theory.
"Nico" can also be a Spanish name! :) I always pictured her as Egyptian or Western Asian from her original anime design but Hispanic/Latina for Robin actually makes so much more sense, especially for a live action casting!
Nico is not a Spanish name, and if anything, it is the shorteing of make name Nicolás, or maybe femenine Nicolasa, but that sounds like a joke name.
@@goodaimshield1115 What? Yes, it literally is and can be a Spanish name. It can also be a Greek, Italian, French, Belgian, and German name. But it's a popular name in Spanish speaking countries too. It can be shortened from Nicolas as a nickname or it can just be Nico, and shortening it doesn't mean that it can't be inspired by the full Spanish name. Nico Robin was clearly designed with Spanish and French influence considering that her attacks are named in Spanish and French so it's not out of the question that her name can be inspired by Spanish or other "romance languages" as well.
Since we're talking Japanese name format, Nico is her last name.
@@AmberSmith-zx2rp Well aware of that
Yeah, given the limited characters in the casting call and the rumor of filming Seasons 2 & 3 back-to-back, I have to wonder if they're using both Seasons 2 and 3, each 8 episodes long, to cover all of the material up to Alabasta that we thought would be in Season 2 alone.
Season 2 would be Loguetown to Little Garden, as the casting call does not mention any characters who are introduced after that point, not even Kureha or Mr. 2.
Season 3 would then cover Drum Island and Alabasta itself.
logue town to little garden is literally like 30 chapters. covering that in 8 episodes is just dragging it out. arlong park was 27 chapters covered in 2 episodes. this could easily be done in 2 or 3, most likely 3 since it’s more seperate arcs.
drum island and alabasta is 90 chapters. 8 episodes is fine for that. probably even less. i’d say 7. 2 for drum island and 5 for alabasta.
oh look that makes one 10 episode season!
I really REALLY want them to cast Kuina's actress as Tashigi. It would be hilarious, it would be fitting, and it would be goddamn PERFECT for the connection without having to spend much time on it. The fandom would lose its shit in a fantastic way.
Wasent she very young when she appeared in the series?
@@postmasterpez Just checked now and she's actually...a lot younger than I thought. She's not even 15 now, so she was probably 11-12 during filming? I was thinking she was a young looking older teen, which would put her in the 20's for a Tashigi. So that might be a bit harder to make work.
if they are sticking to 8 episode seasons, it can comfortably stop at the end of Drum Island with room to put in things to build up the next season. If they bump it up to 13 episodes, they can cram everything from Logue Town to End of Alabasta, but would feel a little tight.
They can then put Jaya, Skipia, and Long Ring Long Land together for (S4), so Water 7 and Enes Lobby can be together for (S5). Thriller Bark, Sabaody, and Amazon Lily (S6), Impel Down and Marine Ford (S7).
I would like to see more videos liek this, getting news is kinda hard sometimes! I really hope we get at least a two part season because I dotn see how can they manage to do the whole Alabasta arc in 3-4 episodes without fucking up completely. This is a really important and good arc and it sets the tone for the upcoming bigger arcs, they cant fuck it up and rush it ngl. I wish its 8 episodes + 8 episodes or at least 8 +4/5 or smth.
Oh wowwwww!!! I’m so excited about the prospect of them releasing episodes either in a split season or one episode at a time (my preference)
10:19 my exact thoughts. i love that even one piece fans can enjoy this because it's not exactly one piece like the manga/anime, with changes here and there, but is still the story and world we all know and love
If the actress actually looks like robin, then im okay with it
Miss golden week needs more attention... My favorite baroque work characters XD
Thefact that right now one of the most famous Archaeogist is a Latina woman who is close to find Cleopatra's tumb. She is Domenican and a former lawyer. Makes super sense Robin will be a latina woman, she will totally be looking for that type of stuff. It totally matches, plus latinas are known to have great bodies. Love it ❤
I always thought that Robin lost her darker complexion because she spent so long in Alabasta, and when she went with the straw hats, she was no longer in the desert sun and eventually lost her tan.
Matt owen was just glazing for anime robin.😂
I kinda hope that they go with a Grogu type puppet/cgi mix for Chopper instead of 100% CGI. Smoker and Tashigi are two of my favorite Navy officers. I really hope they get a solid role in the live action. I'm all for the live action tamping down on the campiness in the early chapters of One Piece especially for an audience that isn't familiar with the anime or manga (like no wax candelabra). It really would be nice if they filmed multiple seasons back to back. Thanks for the update on the production.
As long as the Hispanic person they pick looks the part i won't care. More worried about them ruining Crocodile.
TFW it’s 2023 😮
LOL
I’m kinda interested to see how they’ll handle Chopper.
edit: I also hope they do the water 7 and Enies lobby arc at some point because those are my favourite arcs right now.
I would love a latina Robin❤😍
For the sake of keeping the one piece hype and conversation alive, weekly releases are best.
We not only get to build impressions and questions from the episode but have time to discuss with others and see their impressions and theories instead of just hitting "next episode".
Kills the whole discussion and imaginative process because you get to get your answers right away
I always imagined Robin as Egyptian or Middle Eastern. It was surprising when Oda said she was Russian. I still tell myself she is middle Eastern
If it will be 8 episodes split up four per half, then I'm not happy about a split season, but if it will be 8 then 8 more later, then it will feel like two parts of a full season. This would be similar as older syndication shows would do, for a fall show returning in the spring of the following year, and after holidays and the winter ends. This way they could allow views to watch the first half of the season, then get a preview of the second half as the stinger, with a full teaser over the holidays to get them hyped up for the second half. Later with casting reveals and setting glimpses in clips. This could become a format for shows that need more time to tell the story well while introducing so many characters as One Piece tends to. Informing fans ahead that look at the year as a whole in what they plan to watch, to know the show will come out with two seasons where the sets will drop for consumption.
I'm waiting to see who they cast as Trafalgar
that won’t be for a long time.
Everyone talking about Robin but no one is thinking about how chopper can potentially make or break the Netflix adaptation lol.
I hope it's done right. Having said that I just hope whoever is playing Robin is as dedicated as the other cast members!
literally everyone online is saying this about chopper
Im talking about this comment section
I just hope they give a good 10 episodes.
tell me how tf they're gonna make hot alvida slide around on the ground without it looking wacky asf
So if the filming is not yet underway... the earliest release we can count on is about the fall of 2025, right?
they’re filming it right now, and production started in May when they started making the sets. casting will probably come in the next few months. but yeah, mid to late 2025 is most likely.
It definitely caught me off guard to find out Robin would be hispanic but now I know I'm just hoping she going to be Colombian 🇨🇴
Makes sense for them to work on both season 2 and 3 at the same time. Brown suga Robin ❤.
Someone put me in the casting queue for this show. I'm sick of my day job and this looks more fun. What about Kaku? I could play him. Giraffes are awesome!
A split season is amazing!
Please more one piece live action news coverage! :D
Bonclay is the most important Baroque works character
idk I think the best way to do Robin would be to have a white actress with a tan, and then she either gradually loses it over a couple seasons or just abruptly after the time skip (if they ever get there lol)
I am excited along with the anticipation of they can pull this off. But if they plan to do more with the Rumbar pirates, I hope that they cast Doug Jones as Brooke as he has the acting chops and physique to pull it off.
Wait, I thought Robin's attacks were originally french? Eh, guess its a mix and match like a lot of one piece
Given that the younger actors and actresses are going to visibly age pretty quickl, I think it makes sense to try to film as much as possible since in the manga it’s only been a year or less to cover all this ground. If Luffy goes from looking 16 to looking 35, that’s going to be hard to believe lol
as long as they make it to marineford then it’s fine. after that, since there’s a time skip, they can age as much as they want realistically
THRILLER BARK IN SEASON 2?!
I hope they replace luffy and zoro's whisky peak fight with a powerful emotionally hitting scene of reinforcing their trust as to build along the scenes in Baratie
Robin should be the tallest member of the crew pre-Franky
You guys know that white Hispanic and latino exist right, they're white, primarily/mostly of European descent.
remember, OP also have haters and competitors, so they can make video to create misinformation for OP fans to be confused and get angry.
Let's see if they have the same gusto of the anime end of the manga and if so I really don't care what they look like or what they sound like I just want them to embody the characters that they are portraying that's all that matters to me let's see if they have the the going Mary's ship spirit that actually combines everybody's personality into one place to be continued 😎
I personally believe all of Alabasta will be a season to itself
I think Eisa Gonzalez would he perfect for Robin. She'a in her early 30's and has a nico type face, speaks great english and has played "mysterious sensual" type characters well before
absolutely not. she looks nothing like her. it’s just a latino actress.
As long as Oda has sent Netflix to the contract realm and has the final say on 90% of the work done, I’ll be happy. I think 10% of a change is fair. I still feel like chopper will be dofficult. I feel like the “sweet tooth” approach is the way to go. They have said prior that cgi is a no no. But the more you think about it, the more you realize how difficult that becomes. I find that fur seems to be more difficult than bones. As far as brook is concerned, I imagining pirates of the Caribbean (first movie) look but in 2024.
The tea party might not be that exceptional. When Luffy gets colored he sits down to drink tea with Ms. Goldenweek while the candleabra is also happening.
Personally I always expected alabaster to be two seasons as I just don’t think you can cut out too much without it starting to feel really rushed my theory for the pacing was for the second season tk end at the end of drum island as I think there’s quite a bit to cover in alabaster and I assume theyll continue adapting cover stories and suddenly stories as the B plot line like they did with Garp in Season 1
At 3:45 brook and franky are blurred for spoilers
I watched the first season of the LA without knowing any information about the One Piece universe. I am not on episode 1038 of the anime and you best believe I will be critiquing lol it’s so exciting knowing what’s to come and I am looking forward to characters and how they condense the upcoming arcs.
You mean season 2 and 3? Theyre filmed back to back said Patty actor
15:27 I address this in the video. It's not confirmed and was just speculation.
Yeah, 4Kids certainly didn't think Laboon was very significant...nor Little Garden, for that matter. I wonder if there will be any completely dub only fans who will be pretty surprised by some events in Live Action Season 2...
Still waiting for bon clay. I hope they do him justice
