Possibly failed, for example from the procedure or from genes not being perfectly compatible with each other or you know , bad luck/chance. Why failed? Remember that Vegapunk thought that the artificial Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu he created was a failure only because it was pink. And I think it was mentioned that Stussy's clone was the first perfect clone or something like that
Weevil is most likely a clone of Whitebeard, so I think it would be interesting if Marco & the rest disregard him since he isn't the biological child but Stussy steps up for Weevil because she believes in his humanity. This would beautifully tie in Stussy's current plotline of her validating her own humanity, the purpose could be to contrast her against Bakkin. Maybe Stussy takes issue with how Bakkin has treated/intends to treat Weevil and decides to "save" Weevil. Further emphasizing that she is different from Bakkin further proving her humanity. This could be Oda's way to parallel a Big Mom situation (but this time gone right) where a powerful outcast child is saved from the manipulative adult (Bakkin, Mother Caramel, Streussen).
I think we'll probably have a rocks crew reunion of sorts with the decendents/clones of previous rock pirates which could always happen with an impel down break out crossguild is already kinda that, i could see crossguild causing a breakout more than anyone tbh, they actively have a system to hunt marines and all would be powerful enough to actually do it especially because they have people who already know what it's like. It points the nearest island going forward not backwards (because every Log Pose point to Lodstar which is north). By the time they left Wano, the closest islands going forward where Elbaf, Winner Island and Egghead When the Log Pose points a location, the crew actually goes there. One thing I noticed is Weevil's hair looks similar to Judge and Queen's hair. Which makes a lot of sense if he's a clone because his bloodline elements would have been put together by the MADS scientists.

It feels unrealistic this would all happen considering some of the dynamics, such as Doffy x Law, but I like to imagine Warlord filled cross guild.
