Okay, wow Firstly, thank you so much for everyone who has watched, liked, commented, and subbed. I am really grateful, and massively humbled by the amount of support that I have received on this video. I wasn't expecting anyone to see this video, let alone for it to explode the way it has. I am trying my best to keep up with all of the comments, but I promise that I have read (as far as my brain could handle) 99% of all of the comments. I am speechless, truthfully. As far as my new years resolution goes, I guess its time to set a bigger goal. my NEW new years resolution is now 10,000 by the end of the year! Being completely honest, I have no clue what to upload from this point forward. As much as I love one piece, I dont want to be boxed into creating SOLELY one piece content. I want to hear some of your suggestions, so dont hesitate to give your input. Thank you so much again, and I am so excited to start this year off so strong. Your comments and kind words have not been left lightly, and I cannot express truly how much they mean to me especially at this point in my life. I only want to make good videos that you guys like, and make people smile. Grateful beyond words, Zelly ♥
Tbh you make whatever kind of content you desire man, as long as you keep it natural and authentic, im sure you’ll attract the audience, and the community will grow with you, congrats on your big goal too man a good way to start off 2024 🔥💯
@UnderscoreYTG Started in 2017 myself. It was fun, and I enjoyed it, but like you said. Once I reached Water 7, I was truly hooked like a fish at sea. Such good dialogue and internal conflicts, fantastical settings, amazing side characters, and such a mysterious story. Water 7 will always be my #1 story arc in OP for this reason
My brother passed away 4 years ago and he was the biggest One Piece fan. I started watching shortly after. I don't know how I'm going to handle life without him once this story ends.
you dont have to, im pretty sure the will of your brother will live on with you and your enjoyment will be his enjoyment as well. A man only dies if he is forgotten
Godspeed. May he rest in peace. My younger brother and I have an deeper connection through this beautifully everlasting story.. I couldn’t imagine life without him, especially when it comes to One Piece.
It paled in comparison to other anime animation. It’s that simple. The “artstyle” is def charming, but that’s a little different from animation prowess though.
@@Smokeywillzart style was always fine for me, but the animation is uber cringe even till this day. I absolutely hate episodes like Kaido past with that stopmotion animation. I hate toei
Ngl you cooked in this video. The flashing one piece scenes and islands would have convinced me on the spot to watch it. I’m already caught up and I’m still getting those good vibes from this video.
The video he used is called "the breathtaking world of One Piece". It has some spoilers, but they're minimal, especially if you don't know what you're looking at or where to pay attention. It's a beautiful video with the visuals of the different island, alongside music and some dialogue/monologue
My best friend in high school re-introduced me to One Piece. I was only aware of the 4kidz version until he summarized some of the later arcs after Alabasta. It was Skypeia and Water 7 that interested me enough to give the show a chance. I wish my friend could’ve gotten the chance to see the end of One Piece. Rest peacefully, David
One Piece carried me in 2023. I finally bit the bullet and started from the very beginning and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Despite the ludicrous amount of episodes, going through each and every one of their adventures really makes you feel like you’re part of the crew, like you’ve gone through this journey with them. It truly is an experience that I hope many others get to enjoy as much as I have.
Seconding this. Started in July 2023 and was completely caught up by Dec. I don't regret it one bit. The only thing I regret is spamming Impel Down for Marineford.
@@wojo9732Dude I got bored at Dressrosa and that was 2018 lmao, and I quit watching then. I really wanna start back could I pick up from Dressrosa again? What could I do to recap, just watch recap of all arcs?
dogg i got stuck in the underwater arc ( i forgot its name but its the arc after the timeskip) and i havent watched any episodes since like 2 years or something because its soo boring
i regret to have started because the start is so fcking boring. then here and there u have some good arcs, and by now i am soo deep that i might as well end it. but i mostly really watch because i wanna see how the final part of the story plays out. I fear no man... but this anime pacing... that scares me Edit: i should probably add that i am in the stark minority with this thoughts. if u like the start, keep watching. u will like the rest
I dropped this anime in the romance dawn arc but picked it up again after I saw this video, really glad that I did. Now after 3 months and nearing 1000 episodes I'm fearing the inevitable... THERE ARE WAY TOO FEW EPISODES
@@shinyfirelp6042 Thats why i thank myself for not have watched one piece yet, im now watching it for the first time, im in ep 50 , when they go against nami, and i really dont care much with the pacing, i saw a video with a similiar opinion as yours, that as a op watcher, he hopes to have 1100 new episodes to watch haha
I decided to watch is because I want to know how the hell they can drag out the kaido fight for over 50 episodes and still maintain that level of animation or is it certain episodes only lol. Today I just finished dressrosa arc lol (I started watching 10 episodes a day since last year lol) (the last time I stop was at the start of the alabasta arc when one piece was showing on local TV)
The one thing I love about One Piece is the world building. Although simple the fact that each island is different like Wano or any island in general can make the One Piece world look so massive in size. The characters as well. Many of the characters even those with smaller roles are remembered by groups of people. They make a lot of those characters feel more impactful in the story even when sidelined. Oda never forgets most characters he even gives little canon stories for them after their major arc like Iceburg or Viola there is a character you can feel close to whether with major or minor roles.
I mean the lore the whole reason One Piece is so popular, full stop. Allows for tons of foreshadowing (I 9001% believe a ton of the "foreshadowing" is retconned and likely some comes from Oda reading theories from fans lol) and theorycrafting, which in turn buils more and more hype. More so than ANY work of fiction in human history. I free blessed to experience it, also glad I got into it near the end of Wano, goddamn having to sit and wait thru Wano for 4 fucking years...bit too much, lol. Oh well all aboard the hype train WHOOP WHOOP!!!
I'm gonna have to make a video about this but the lore is literally 1 reason of like 50 that One Piece is so insanely popular and also well-regarded. It would not be such a cultural phenomenon if it was just lore/worldbuilding.
Yes i agree and because the characters in one piece are so much more different and cooler than other animes they actually are unique and interesting I feel like the uniqueness and beauty of one piece makes the anime even better
I'm 38 and I've been watching One Piece for 20years now...and your statement about once you catch up and you could easily do another 1000....thats how I feel and its been in my life for 2 decades! Easily the greatest bit of fiction ever told and I'm always trying to share the love of OP. I'm reading the manga as I have to be there the day the One Piece is revealed! I've made friends with complete strangers over One Piece when meeting them in the wild ❤ Great vid ❤ SUBBED!
Dropped the anime in the middle of Skypiea in highschool. After the live action reminded me of how much i love the characters, I decided to read the manga. It's been just under 2 months and I am on chapter 1068. I'm so glad I'm getting caught up now because the mystery of the one piece - and the other mysteries related to it - are impossible to be spoiled for me right now. Seriously, zero regrets.
I can’t imagine my life without this series, a person who I called Nakama is now gone and I think about him everyday. I often have conversations with him in my heart those days where we binged OP and talked about what was going to happen are gone. As Dr. Hiriluk said,” I HAVE LIVED A WONDERFUL LIFE”

To be honest i personally love pretime skip era more than the later half. The episodes were really light weight, funny and it felt as if we are on a voyage. My personal favourite Skypiea arc.
I highly disagree. Everything becomes more interesting, grander and simply more epic after the timeskip. The world building goes totally crazy after the timeskip and the long-term storytelling is better than ever. I thin most people who say that pre-timeskip is better are a bit biased because of nostalgia.

@@sem_aki True but the action and animation goes bonkers with the start of Punk Hazard. I did the worst thing : Completed watching anime till the latest episode. Hence have to stop watching One piece for next 1-2 yrs before i can binge again. I literally rolled through Wano Arc in a week. Maybe i will again start watching from Whiskey peak arc.
I honestly think the older episodes really give the show more personality. Like my headcanon likes to think the entire show has spanned over the last 20 years, and watching the original episodes and seeing the quality progress over time really makes me feel like Im on the journey from the beginning. just my two cents
Honestly you’ve convinced me. I’m actually not that far from catching up in the anime but I had serious burn out from binge watching. But you’re absolutely right. I’ve already been spoiled majorly for certain things throughout watching one piece so it makes sense that if I don’t catch up I’m bound to be spoiled again
I just got caught up to the anime recently. I have to catch up to the manga now. I am ready for the secrets of the One Piece. I have my own theory on what it is or what Laugh Tale is.

I Just hit water 7. I appreciate how relatable some of the dark backstories are and some of the messages they portray, something that I probably wouldn't have picked up if I watched this as a kid. Sure it has a lot of episodes, but Im watching everything without skipping fillers and I have enjoyed everything that I've seen.
After watching all of Naruto, I swore to never watch through something as long as that, but after hearing all the positive feedback on the Live Action One Piece I decided to watch it through Needless to say I'm in the middle of Marineford in the anime now and I'm having a blast and my heart is about the be blasted too.
If you want to have an adventure, you will have a fun time; if you are able to analyze symbolism, parallels and other storytelling techniques, here is your playground; if some details catch your eye, you can craft your own theory while being amazed by others' during research In short, the content its own is already fun, but it's the things beyond make you realize you already come out different. Now if it sounds right and you're going in, anytime is good but just make sure the tissue is near.
I finally hit the 800 episode mark and you are right.. even tho I still have a bit to go I kinda don't want the story to end. it's been one helluva journey so far!
@@vividius7951stop hating, go watch it and you’ll realize. once you catch up it starts feeling like the story is so short and the thousand episodes start feeling like 3 or 4
I've been watching one piece since i was 5 years old. I literally grew up with this story. I cannot imagine not having it anymore once it ends. Enjoying new one piece content every weekend is part of my routine, it's part of my soul
Bro Oda is basically held hostage being forced to continue it. Gear 5 was a literal joke because he no longer cares so he thought 'might as well make it a joke' and everyone saw it and declared it a masterpiece. I feel sad for Oda lol.
@@escapetherace1943 He wanted to make gear five goofy because he missed how old cartoons, and some old anime were animated in a rubber hose style, with charm, and humor, that's why he made it that way, not because he's lazy.
In late 2023 I finally decided to decided to try my best to commit to the grind. I was at the 2nd episode of alabasta, and now I’m at episode 359. As much as I’ve still been committed recently, this helped me even more. Thank you for giving me extra encouragement :)
I was in the same boat of "too many episodes, I could never", but then my son had me watch the live action when it came out. Now I'm 600 episodes in and I can't wait to catch up! I wish I would have started a long time ago, but I'm glad I'm here now!
Just started the first book 🙏, I’m loving the vibe and community so far. I’m sure that I’m going to love this and hope that I might be able to experience the end with everyone else at some point, but I am making it my priority to savor the experience.
I started watching One Piece July of last year and I instantly became obsessed with it. I’m currently on Thriller Bark. I know I still I have a long way to go, but I’m ready for it man. I’m literally dedicating my time outside and off work to watch this masterpiece of an anime. I love everything about One Piece. Seeing Luffy laughing and smiling all time has helped me laugh and smile a lot too. I also love how everyone in his crew is of a different ethnicity. Cheers to One Piece!🍻
I remember hearing about One Piece and use to think it was weird but when I finally watched it I realized its one of the greatest shows/manga ever created. I watched every episode and filler and like you said in the video, once you catch up it feels like not enough episodes!! Currently reading Egghead in the manga and its crazy good the anime is gonna be insane this year
It's funny how after watching One Piece, no other anime can give you the same feeling as One Piece. One Piece makes me happy because I feel connected to the characters.

I know there are some arcs missing Netflix, cause i watched Fishman arc and Punkhazard on adult swim ways back before i decided to start at the beginning, season 1 up to the end of Marinford . I'm glad i did. Never thought i get hooked. It is one of the longest and most engaging animes of our time.😊
@stark5679 Nice! I didn't know there are seasons missing from Netflix. Oh well, it's plenty enough for me lol. I'm on episode 400 I think now and it's amazing how it continues to be good.
Started in August and I'm almost through whole cake, so excited to be able to interact with the one piece community soon without feeling like I'm gonna be spoiled at every turn
That feeling only goes away if you read the manga lol. I JUST caught up to the anime and OP channels are still causing me to dodge spoilers about what comes after lol. Like I wanna know whats going on but NOT like this!!! Lol.
I started watching One Piece early 2023 and now I’m on Thriller Bark! I honestly never minded the early episodes of the show because I love watching shows like Tom and Jerry, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, etc. I love One Piece so much and I’m so happy that I decided to watch it as I’m new to anime. I caught up on Jujutsu Kaisen so I’m excited to get caught up on One Piece. ☺️
I started one piece about 2 years ago, and I've loved virtually everything about it. The only reason it's taken me so long is because I took a break during the beginning of Alabasta and a few other shirt breaks throughout, hut at a certain point I literally couldn't stop reading or watching it. It's now easily one of my favorite series ever. The characters, world building, and the memorable story all culminate into one of the greatest stories ever written. I've been caught up for 3 months, and I already miss having more episodes or chapters to read. After catching up I want to watch the episodes I've read purely because I love the story that much
It took me a few years to catch up too, I took hiatuses in Alabasta, Skypeia, and Water 7. Once I got through Thriller Bark, it was the Summit War that flipped the switch for me, and suddenly I couldn’t stop watching lol
I honestly knew nothing about OP or had even heard of it until the Netflix series came out. I’ll be 32 this year and did watch some anime as a kid, but for some reason, never came across this and now I wish I had. I really enjoyed it and that was just the Netflix one. I have since decided to watch the anime and I’m now about 200 episodes in in roughly the last 4 weeks. I’m addicted. So good and so fun to watch even if it gets really crazy at times. I want to read the manga as well. So I’ve been starting to collect those now too lol.
buying someone else's manga on depop and vinted (or other sites similar) is great for saving money depending where you're from. I managed to cop volumes 1-75 on depop for like £130. the manga is also great to read as there's the art between chapter's which tend to give a brief insight into what other side characters are up to elsewhere from the main story.
If you're in the US, Viz has a Shonen Jump app where you can read all 1000+ chapters of One Piece, along with Bleach, Naruto, Black Clover, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, etc. for only $3 a month. I'd highly recommend that over watching the anime, especially after the time skip.
man hearing the glitter song in the background of u talking about us crying throwing up and smiling and laughing and knowing the one piece gave me so many goosebumps, as well as made me feel same as one piece succeeds, just making my eyes water out of sadness and joy. its crazy how much one piece can control ur emotions over any other anime/show/movie ive had some touching moments but not as much as one piece been making me feel.
So true. I just caught up in the anime last weekend and had to wait the first time for an episode. When I started I always said that there are still so many episodes and that I would get tired of watching it but as I got further I couldnt get enough of OP. And now im sitting here just waiting for the next episodes hoping that it never ends. OP is so worth the time.
I’m at episode 400 and started a few months ago for this exact reason, I’ve been a fan of anime for a little while and was always putting it off but now that I started I’m hooked and I don’t have any regrets!
i did the same. im on whole cake island now. i started watching when i saw the title of this video. I think every anime fan knows that when the one piece reveal happens, its going to be as big vader being luke's dad. i found this video again and watched it now and its pretty much all the reasons that i formulated in my brain
I started the anime at September or October of last year and have watched already over 400 episodes, recently I also started the manga. I can't wait to be at current episodes and chapters but I've already enjoyed everything I've watched and haven't regretted starting this long but amazing journey. One Piece is definitely worth it!
Bro one piece is so beautiful and people who havent watched up to arlong at least are missing out on emotions that you didn't even know were possible. The way all the characters connect to the story, the way all the strawhats have dreams, the way the music adds to the story and how the world is so large and grand. Man I love one piece and as zelly said "There are too many eps till there arent enough" so dont act like its a challenge to catch up when it really isn't when you do get into it, and trust me, you will get into it.
My friend recommended this peak fiction. I started onepiece from the starting of 2023.. After watching 2 episodes i dropped it thinking it might be boring, but I gave it a chance and it is truly a peak fiction.. currently at dressrosa arc and I'm gonna catchup in 2 months.. my girlfriend broke up with me recently.. when no one was there.. one piece was all i have. It became a emotion.. one piece is the only reason for me to stand up again.. When i was crying desperately.. only luffy's smile carried me through all the depressions.. I would never forget this peak fiction until i die..
I feel you, my guy. This show has a way of making it impossible to stay down and depressed. I went into it at the worst time in my life when I needed healing and remembered people in my life who were both die hard fans and contagious with their everyday vibes. When a show can convince you to pull yourself out of a very deep hole, that's when you know that, just like Luffy, the story is a destroyer of obstacles
bro i cant even count how many times i dropped onepiece from episode 1-30 it was such a boring start but then it started getting better and before i knew it i finished wano
I started one piece during pandemic out of whim, caught up after 2 months and the last episode i watched before getting caught up with the weekly was 982 and boy the statement that there's too much episode until there's not enough episodes was damn right
This video describes exactly why I just started One Piece... I thought about watching it already sometimes but if I ever want to start, now's the time... before the big reveal And yes, the finale is gonna be HUGE :)
For anyone watching this debating if they should catch up before it ends, it's 100% worth it. I never thought i'd ever catch up, but in 2023 i made the choice to catch up using the colored manga (as the anime has inconsistent pacing). Highly recommend catching up with the colored manga and watching certain scenes you wanna watch animated. There are manga chapter to anime conversion websites to help with that.
I'm incredibly new to anime, and of started with demon slayer as a classic, and decided to go one anime at a time. One year later i just finished hxh, and it was so amazing, a whole year spent watching it. And honestly, i think when i recover from hxh I will start one piece, i bet its so much better and amazing, (but hxh will always have a place in my heart lol)
I can still remember watching Alabasta for the first time, I loved Ms All Sunday so much she was my favorite side character and the moment I saw the title pop up saying shed be the next crewmember i was actually so happy. Its probably my favorite moment from when I was speeding through.
@@bogadestroyer738 Same I just wish I could motivate my friends to watch until water 7 😭 I think I'll send this video to my friend still in east blue :DD
everything you mentioned about experiencing the series as it comes out is my main argument to what makes this series so special. i've kept up with one piece since i was a teenager in 2006. i cannot express just how it feels to have lived through so many pivotal and monumental moments of this series. things that are simple memes about the series now were at one point nonexistent. and getting to see those things unfold in real time is the most underrated part of engaging with this specific story.
The part where you said that everyone has there own reasons to grow attached to the show really resonated with me. For me personally personally it was Laboon, wanting to see Luffy make his way back to him and then discovering that Brook was in the crew that Laboon was waiting for and then joining the staw hats to see Laboon again! Absolutely incredible story writing and i cant wait for that Réunion 😭
I started the series roughly 2 years ago, and got to Alabasta before I stopped reading it. It's not that I hated it or anything, hell I loved it, but I just do that sometimes. I can love a game or series, but due to life I tend to drop it. During this past summer before college started, I picked it back up, and I haven't put it down. This series will go down as a legend. as of 3/3/24, I'm at Sabaody in the manga, and whenever I remember, I'll update this reply with where I'm at until I'm caught up! 5/3/24, I'm at Fishman Island now, and THE SUMMIT WAR WAS INCREDIBLE HOLY SHIT 6/4/24, Finished Fishman Island last week and am at the beiginning of Punk Hazard. This arc was really freaking good, idk how there's hate for it (unless the anime's pacing is really bad or something)
I remember starting 2 to 3 years ago as well! With me seeing an orange haired girl that's been shackled, and was forced to do things she didn't want to... till she got saved, Ofc I'm talking about... Koala... Who'd you think i was about? But no seriously, my bff at the time wanted me to watch it i said no, then found a koala video that made me emotional so i asked what it was found out it was one piece, asked the people in the comments if it's even worth it and 2 years later... I'm somehow still in wci... Not caught up!!!!! Like I'm still on a burnout break on one piece. Like i remember watching the entire half of the series in only 2 months, then slowing down... And i haven't picked it up since... I'm ofc gon pick it up again, but i haven't found my motivation yet...
@@lightningjadejavier Oh I didn't even know Koala has orange hair! I'm reading the black and white version of the manga so I didn't even know about that until you said it lol. Also damn, watching that much of the anime in a short span of time is quite impressive, idk how people do it. Hopefully your motivation picks back up soon to resume!
I started the show in high school and made it to alabasta, but life got busy and I dropped it. I just restarted it first semester of my sophomore year of college and watched at least one episode a day and boy has it been a ride. Currently at the end of thriller bark YOHOOHOHO
I wasn’t a big OP fan until a few months ago, and I instantly got hooked and binged the series, catching up to the end of Wano in 2 months. Now I’m caught up on the manga, and suffice to say I’m equal parts excited and dreading the EggHead island arc as it will be my first full One Piece Arc I can’t binge watch.
Started watching the anime the week after the live action series debuted. I am now finishing up Wano, it is so worth it and I should be completely caught up in about a few days to a week. It is so worth it. Now I have started collecting the manga by volumes and have read up to Alabasta.
I started watching One Piece in 2013 when I was 14 years old and I've loved it ever since. It has accompanied me through some major life changes, experiences, and milestones so I look back at all those episodes very fondly and I can't wait to see what's in store.
I remember the one thing holding me back from starting One Piece at all was the ARTSTYLE. And now I can confidently say it’s one of the most lovable and charming art styles I’ve ever seen- I’m currently trying to collect all the artbooks bc I love Oda’s character design and artwork so damn much. I even buy the TCG cards because I love just trying to collect all of my favorite pirates and displaying them in my phone case and stuff lol. There’s something so whimsical about this series that I think everyone deserves to check out, even if it’s just once and you don’t end up sticking around for the whole ride. It sounds corny but I genuinely think this series has made life *that* much more enjoyable for me.
I’m working on it! I started in late June of last year and I’m in the middle of punk hazard. I’m gonna try to make a big push for the end in the next few months. At least 5 eps a day, maybe more.
Caught up with the manga over the summer last year... chapter 1-1091 at the time I finished in about 7 weeks. Helped a lot that I had a job where I have plenty of free time so I could sometimes get through 20 chapters at work alone depending on how dense they are. So glad I did. Excited and sad to someday see the end. It's so true that once you get caught up there suddenly isn't enough.
Multiple people had brought it up to me, but it was watching your video many months ago that finally convinced me to hit the go button and start watching…. …. And now I’m in Wano, nearing the end of the journey to catch up. Actually felt a pretty strong swell of emotion while re-watching this video and thinking about how much impact the show had on me . Thank you you were a catalyst for me
I started reading one piece some months ago, but I never thought of the eventuality of spoiling what is the one piece. Thinking about how a lot of the series is well known (Ace, Gear five ecc.) it's a very good reason to catch up before that revelation
I started One Piece late last year. For years I knew I wanted to watch and never did it. I finally pulled the trigger. Watching this video made me emotional, the idea it’s gonna end and the culmination of everything is mi d blowing. Relating to certain story arcs or characters is absolutely true; Saying to many episodes and then saying not enough… ALSO TRUE LOL! Loved this video
Your video was fantastic bro, had me sat here eating dinner at full attention to every word you said. I decided to start watching One Piece at end of last year and I'm currently at the start of Skypea, honestly I'm so happy I started, this show is so incredible and I'm constantly trying to push it onto my friends. I wish I had started sooner if not for my doubts on it being so damn long, but that's the joy of it. I'm now fully prepared to sit through another 950 episodes to follow this stretchy man and his crew across the vast ocean.
I'm rewatching it for the third time, first one - stopped somewhere around 800 episodes, second run - till the most recent ones 1060+ (right after kaido was defeated), and now going my third run. I'll rewatch it again and again, that's one of the best stories I've seen in my life
Amazing video my guy! I have been watching one piece for the 4th time now. This time with my gf and it feels just as amazing to watch as the first time. You earned my sub. Lets all try to get a few more people addicted to our favorite jolly pirates❤
Just recently got into one piece and decided to do a marathon of it, still a bit far from the more recent episodes (just entered the skypiea arc episodes) but I can confirm that I’ve been having a blast, I never really expected for one piece to be this exciting but I’m glad I’m being able to enjoy it, on my way to Wano!!
Getting back into One Piece back in May 2023 was for really good spiritual reasons. I have been able to grow and transform into a better person I like to say. More wiser, knowledgeable, and mature. Everything you said in this video was spot on. Being caught up and being able to enjoy the series and react with one another with everyone. It’s a whole huge community that can feel like a family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤ But for now let’s enjoy this marvelous spectacular adventure known as One Piece.
Haven’t finished the video yet, but it needs to be said that the editor did a great job picking these clips, I love seeing all these locations from the show!
I've said it before and I will say it again. When the chapter where we find out what the One Piece is, and even more so when the Anime Episode comes out where it's revealed, it will be on par with Ultra Instinct appearing for the first time in DragonBall. For those who remember... when Goku achieved UI for the first time, everyone was watching. It didn't matter if you were a DB fan or not, it didn't matter if you didn't watch anime or not; Everyone who was at all aware of anime culture was there watching and cheering when that iconic OST started for the first time. When the One Piece is revealed, the world will be watching.
@@skillgamer76, nah, not like ultra instinct. I can go to ppl and ask them if they know goku with white hair and they'll know him, but people outside anime don't even know luffy💀
Fine, you convinced me! I watched a few episodes here and there as a kid when it was still on TV here, back then it was most certainly 4Kids' version, but I never really got into it back then. But the characters left a strong impression on me anyways, I never forgot who I liked best in those few episodes in my childhood. Over the past couple of years, I watched a funny One Piece compilation on TH-cam or even read a One Piece fanfic here and there (with original plots, so no spoilers for the real story), but for some reason still didn't get into it, even though I was sure I would like it. Your video gave me the final push just now. One story that I connect the same feelings with as the ones you describe in this video is Attack on Titan. I found AoT just in time to catch up to the final season once it started to air and I am still SO incredibly grateful that I experienced the finale and the big phenomenon that it was and still is in real time, along with millions of fans around the world. So I already know the feeling you talk about here, witnessing such a grand, emotional and historic moment in anime, manga and art history in an international community that shares their strong love and passion for this story. I feel like it's one of those stories that really has a great impact on people's lives and changes them for the better, being an inspiration and an anchor for them in difficult times, all while making the good times even more beautiful. I will start One Piece today. Thank you for inspiring me to do it, finally! 🏴☠️❤
I caught up to One Piece two years ago after finding it difficult to get past Dressrosa so I could catch up to Wano. I can’t wait to see the remake with my friends so they can see why I love this series so much.
I started One Piece three months ago without watching the filler and now I’m at Water 7 arc at episode 247. When I saw the Alabasta arc I fell in love with this anime. This anime is the best decision In my life. For me is the best anime, before One Piece, my favourite was Fairy Tail but when I started One Piece, I inmediatly changed my opinion.
I’m about 40 episodes deep, about to finish Arlong. I’ve been taking it a little too slow, and I plan to start watching it more soon. I’m not gonna force myself to watch One Piece, i’m going to watch when I want to, and I think that’s the solution. Dont force yourself to do it, just enjoy the voyage! Edit: I will return several times to update my progress until I catch up!
On the Big three anime, One Piece is the one I watched last. I was thinking about watching it for long time, however not able to give it a try. On Sep 2023, I made up my mind to watch the anime and rest all is history. I watched all the episodes in 3 months (77 Days to be exact). I love One Piece World and ideas the story trying for tell us. If you are someone, who is still think about watching. Don't! You definitely missing something in your lifetime and your will regard it.
I tried watching it on 3 separate occasions over the years but couldn't get past episode 3. In 2020 I forced myself to watch 140 episodes and didn't touch it again until August 2023 bc of the Live Action. I didn't like it until the Water 6 arc and that's when I fell in love with it, now it's January 2024 and I'm around episode 810 or so 😭😭😭
The manga is definitely the best way to follow along. For some reason I just can’t get past episode 100. The fillers drive me up the wall, I can’t take it. I’m currently at the beginning of Fishman Island in the manga so still over 40 volumes and several chapters to go until I’m caught up, but honestly I don’t care about spoilers nearly enough to rush it. This is a story that needs to be savoured for it is a literary delicacy.
Yeah I finished the Albasta Arc and it is so hard for me to get back into it now. There is different thing I want to watch and there is just so many more episodes to watch.... it is like UGH....
My boyfriend and I started recently after watching the live action. To begin with I only watched it with him sometimes, but now I'm also becoming very invested. Currently at the enies lobby arc. Your video just made me even more excited about it!
I just started watching in September this past year. I’ve been avoiding it ever since I saw the 4kids version as a kid and it gave me nightmares 😂. Now I’m obsessed. I’m on episode uh… 507 I think. It was seriously such a great decision and honestly not too bad if you just stay consistent. It’s so much better than I thought it would be. There is a reason why it’s been the best of the best for so long.
@@abhisheksingh4-yrb.tech.me218 I started 30th of November and I caught up yesterday, but now I don’t know what to watch anymore all I want is one piece😅
I'm on episode 390 and I am blind to anything after that besides seeing a poster of current Zoro. I'm so excited to finish it! The character development is peak and I truly love every character, even the bad guys. (P.S. Luffy's singing is AWESOME!!!)
Some people hate on it but I def rec One Pace. It’s great and follows the manga really well. When things grow slow I change to the manga as reading lore dumps goes faster. Emotional and action packed scenes I just go back to the anime. Only done so in long arcs like the ones post timeskip. I started in sep and I’m currently halfway through Wano. No regrets. Top character writing. Best team/crew in fiction.
I don’t get the hate behind one pace, it really is the better way to watch one piece. I don’t see why watching massive fluff and random scenes is a good way to watch any show. Had I known one pace existed, dressrosa would’ve easily been my favorite arc but the pacing murdered it
Yeah weird to hate One Pace. Since that's almost the same as hating the manga. Cause One Pace is literally just cutting it to be more accurate to the manga. Sure you could argue that SOME scenes they cut made it worse and the anime has some extended scenes that makes it better. But are those extremely few scenes really worth all the fluff and filler you're subjected to? One Pace managed to cut like 25 hours from Dressrosa alone and still not cut content from the manga. That's how messed the anime's pacing is.
@@Whitedudeabove people take pride in being completionists, even if they’re miserable for it. I watched every single Naruto filler before I knew what a filler was and although it has its hidden gems here and there, why not watch something that’s actually building up to a good story? Filler are essentially exploitation of the art/story. If I want to take in Oda’s vision, there’s no need to watch stuff he didn’t intend to happen in the story. Plus, there are so many good stories out there ready to be loved and dissected for their genius.
And I did achieve that goal. I managed to catch up within 3 months. Starting from October and officialy catching up before Ep 1089. It was quite the journey.
@@nickn4672 It was quite the grind. And also because I didn't just watch the anime, I also read some of the manga for better pacing, but mostly I watched One Pace to speed things up.
It’s weird to think that 7 years ago was 2017, but that’s when I got into OP and I haven’t regretted it at all. It has everything you could want from a series, and is only getting better 25 years later. My only worries are for the VAs as no one can replace them, and they’re on the journey just like us.
6 years ago for me which is absolutely insane to think about 😭😭 i agree, i think the new animation is well anticipated and will be well recieved but i think the new VAs will change how we view the characters since the voices of the characters are so iconic in themselves
I finally convinced my husband to watch One Piece with me after the live action came out. We’ve watched 160 episodes so far in only a few months. I had originally seen the first 100 or so episodes 20 years ago (up to Alabasta arc). I’m excited to finally catch up. I’ve seen a lot of spoilers already and it doesn’t bother me BUT I would be mad to have the final ending be spoiled.
@@SaintEthanbaronNusjuro in the last two weeks we’ve actually made it to episode 200 😂 I would read the manga but my husband probably wouldn’t. It’s okay if the pace is bad we can put it on as background noise. The episodes aren’t very long.
@@netogrofjust note that not all arcs post-time skip have bad pacing, i'd say research each arc about their pacing cause i don't want to spoil anything for you
@@netogroftry One Pace. It's a fan made editing with way better pacing by cutting useless contente. For exemple one post timeskip arc is 128 episodes long but only 48 in One Pace
When I was younger (around fourth grade elementary), I watched One Piece on TV but I wasn’t really caught up nor did I understand what was going on since I watched it during the midway point. The last episode I remembered watching during that time was Frankie’s Debut I think. Now since new years of 2024 I decided to actually rewatch from East Blue and now I’m almost in Alabasta! I am so glad my friends gave me the strength to watch about 60 episodes in almost a month
I think everyone and every one piece hater should understand how good this story actually is by giving it a shot and catching up to it. One Piece really changed my life and now I have much more confidence in life to be honest. I have learned a lot and enjoyed a lot from one piece. Aaaanndd yesss i think Egghead arc is gonna be something special
I passed the episode 517, the time-skip, finally i know that i am close to get to the 1000, since july 2023 i am watching and i don't regret anything one piece gave to me
thank you so much man. Before I had watched this video, I had already given up on one piece at skypeia arc after feeling like it was too much to go through. Watching this video made me realize that there was so much more to this anime to make it worth watching. Now, I am currently at fishman island arc and I’ve loved every second of the series so far.
Okay, wow
Firstly, thank you so much for everyone who has watched, liked, commented, and subbed.

Such good dialogue and internal conflicts, fantastical settings, amazing side characters, and such a mysterious story. Water 7 will always be my #1 story arc in OP for this reason

Godspeed. May he rest in peace. My younger brother and I have an deeper connection through this beautifully everlasting story.. I couldn’t imagine life without him, especially when it comes to One Piece.
I’m so sorry man I hope you and your family are doing well
NGL, the old animation in the first episodes is so charming, I don't understand why people hate it
It’s prolly due to the fact it’s a lot of new watchers so they aren’t use to that animation
i think people start watching and expect the anime to already look like it does nowadays and kind of forget that it started airing in the late 90s :D

I hate toei

I will see you in the land of wano. come at any cost
See you in Egghead!
Holy sht its you
there is always the manga if you do not like the pacing of the anime.
@@BlitzedKip420 Same lmao I got caught up like a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I didn’t have to wait on every new episode

I highly disagree. Everything becomes more interesting, grander and simply more epic after the timeskip. The world building goes totally crazy after the timeskip and the long-term storytelling is better than ever.

Thriller Bark is the funniest arc to me
I have started one piece and I’m loving it so far. I love how vast the world is and how much more there is to explore is just exciting!
Buying all of the chapters is gonna be very expensive, I would recommend reading online but you do you
@@baypat3688 Don't. If someone wants to pay for the content they're consuming, they shouldn't be discouraged.
buying someone else's manga on depop and vinted (or other sites similar) is great for saving money depending where you're from. I managed to cop volumes 1-75 on depop for like £130. the manga is also great to read as there's the art between chapter's which tend to give a brief insight into what other side characters are up to elsewhere from the main story.
Started when the live action came out, I’m at 512 and it’s so good
If you're in the US, Viz has a Shonen Jump app where you can read all 1000+ chapters of One Piece, along with Bleach, Naruto, Black Clover, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, etc. for only $3 a month. I'd highly recommend that over watching the anime, especially after the time skip.

I would never forget this peak fiction until i die..
you dropped it bc you tried watching it... just read it, such a better journey
You caught up that fast? You sure you're alright ?
bro i cant even count how many times i dropped onepiece from episode 1-30 it was such a boring start but then it started getting better and before i knew it i finished wano
@ggez3684 yeah the pacing is what ruins it, naruto has some shit pacing too but i agree on jjk being really good rn
I started one piece during pandemic out of whim, caught up after 2 months and the last episode i watched before getting caught up with the weekly was 982 and boy the statement that there's too much episode until there's not enough episodes was damn right
This video describes exactly why I just started One Piece... I thought about watching it already sometimes but if I ever want to start, now's the time... before the big reveal
And yes, the finale is gonna be HUGE :)

For the anime, with its horrible pacing, you can always choose One Pace/Muhn Pace. Which are trying to emulate the manga as closely as possible.
I can still remember watching Alabasta for the first time, I loved Ms All Sunday so much she was my favorite side character and the moment I saw the title pop up saying shed be the next crewmember i was actually so happy. Its probably my favorite moment from when I was speeding through.

@@milotristan man i'm in the middle of alabasta and i loved every arc
everything you mentioned about experiencing the series as it comes out is my main argument to what makes this series so special. i've kept up with one piece since i was a teenager in 2006. i cannot express just how it feels to have lived through so many pivotal and monumental moments of this series. things that are simple memes about the series now were at one point nonexistent. and getting to see those things unfold in real time is the most underrated part of engaging with this specific story.
5/3/24, I'm at Fishman Island now, and THE SUMMIT WAR WAS INCREDIBLE HOLY SHIT

You are exactly right my friend, lets enjoy this wonderful story!

Didn’t g5 do the same? It broke outside anime culture and people who never watch anime were like, what the hell is this?
It will surpass that. It will be on the same level as super saiyan’s debut in namek.
Didn't people say the same for gear 5?
@@skillgamer76, nah, not like ultra instinct. I can go to ppl and ask them if they know goku with white hair and they'll know him, but people outside anime don't even know luffy💀

LMAO yea it is! Make sure you delete tiktok because the spoilers on there are baddd
That's it, my 10 year break is over and I'm getting caught up ASAP!
And I did achieve that goal. I managed to catch up within 3 months. Starting from October and officialy catching up before Ep 1089. It was quite the journey.
Damn💀 3 months!?
I started in 2023 but God I'm glad I did
I finally convinced my husband to watch One Piece with me after the live action came out.
I'd suggest y'all to start reading the manga after the time skip. Mainly cause the pacing is absolutely horrendous in the anime.
@@SaintEthanbaronNusjuro in the last two weeks we’ve actually made it to episode 200 😂 I would read the manga but my husband probably wouldn’t. It’s okay if the pace is bad we can put it on as background noise. The episodes aren’t very long.
i'd recommend watch "one pace" after the time-skip, it's a copy paste version of one piece, but with better pacing and all filler cut out.@netogrof
@@netogrofjust note that not all arcs post-time skip have bad pacing, i'd say research each arc about their pacing cause i don't want to spoil anything for you
@@netogroftry One Pace. It's a fan made editing with way better pacing by cutting useless contente. For exemple one post timeskip arc is 128 episodes long but only 48 in One Pace
this video was one of the main reasons for getting me into one piece. i started on march 20th and i just finished pre timeskip. thank you brother
You don't read manga ig so let me tell you it's gonna surpass even wano
I’ve heard people call Egghead the Shibuya Arc of One Piece, and I’ve also heard it has a contender for best flashback so I’m really excited for it
egghead is in the contention for best one piece arc ever honestly, so many unanswered questions ofc but PEAK
@@gametheus1306Sabaody is more like the shibuya arc than egghead, who tf is saying that?💀
Keep in mind, one piece isn't for everyone, so they might not be interested in continuing with the story.
I passed the episode 517, the time-skip, finally i know that i am close to get to the 1000, since july 2023 i am watching and i don't regret anything one piece gave to me
I quit after 1000
thank you so much man. Before I had watched this video, I had already given up on one piece at skypeia arc after feeling like it was too much to go through. Watching this video made me realize that there was so much more to this anime to make it worth watching. Now, I am currently at fishman island arc and I’ve loved every second of the series so far.
I started One Piece from episode 1, 3 months ago and I’m caught up to 1,027 at the moment…. 😅 it’s one of my favorites easily
Bro it took me a whole year to watch that many episodes, you must got all the time in the world on your hand
